I LOVE THE SHIRTS! The only exception is the alice cooper in which, i am not getting. I feel i could get that shirt anywhere online. Its not unique and it doesnt even say halloween horror nights! Other wise the silent hill shirt i LOVE LOVE LOVE and the twd is amazing! The house shirt is the house shirt. I love the main (more expensive) pin, i love the keychain and i love the jacket. I wish it was houses on the back of the jacket, or at least a Walking dead picture, but at least they had something! I'm spending all my money on this years gear, and i am actually happy about that!
Actually there is a HHN graphic on the back of the Alice Cooper shirt.

yeah I am trying to keep up on the photo updates for the merch and there is soooo much.... house shirt + goodwill = I give it 1 month
Again off the phone with Charles..... images are from MIB store. Merch is still being put out. There is more TWD shirts, SH shirt, another female shirt, and playing cards.
there is an image of the hoodie front. just has Universal Halloween Horror Nights 2012 on the left breast corner.
As for "official" even if the front does not say HHN check the "tag" cause most UO merch is marked as such inside. If it's generic stuff that "tag" or print will not mention Universal or HHN.
Oh and the Alice Cooper comes in Unisex and Girl's styles.....same artwork.

Just got off the phone with Charles. There are at least 2 TWD shirts, an AC shirt, SH shirt (? - he couldn't tell for sure), and a hoodie. There was a manager outside the kiosk in City Walk not letting him take pictures.... so he has to wait till he's in the park.

As was said above it was a reset run..... I can hear things going off or the person is looking in the wrong direction. Also as Mike Aiello said in one of the videos (it might be this one but not sure) not everything was there and running.

Damn, was hoping they'd have a TWD theme or something different. Basically looks the same as any other year with the number changed to 22. I know that's not true, each is different, but just saying that it's basically the same as always.
These are the guest services lanyards..... don't know about the ones that will be in the gift shops.

Also, would it be too much to ask for someone who's heading to Universal to take some construction photos, take a straight-on shot of this plaque?

It would be greatly appreciated!
It's not straight on but the image is lighter..... a bit more legible I think.

Jonathan was one of the main characters of winters night. He was married to Abagail. Jonathan hired the witch doctor named Malcon Trumble. He made the blue lamps to keep all the spirits in the cemetery. Jonathan can be seen in the tombs of the cemetery and so can Abagail. Malcom can been seen at the beginning of the house behind a gate and in the shack near the back of the house hiding between two shelves. If i am correct, Jonathan was also in that room.
Ah but the wife's name in Winter's Night was Elizabeth. Go to horrornights.be all the stuff is on there.

Maybe they are ancestors
Possibly since the dates for Johnathan are about 39 years off. The average life expectancy in the 1790s (Abigale died in 1799) was approximately 34 years for men and 36 years for women. So we could be looking at the parents of Johnathan Hawthorn (who would have been 8 when Abigale died).
Also Winter's Night Johnathan died 10 years after Elizabeth. In this year's tombs the Johnathan died 3 years after Abigale.
But why use the same quote on the bottom?

I am on my phone so can't pull up references. The wife's name in Winter's Night was Elizabeth Hawthorn.... in this year's props it's Abigale Hawthorne, again the years in the dates are altered.

Here is some food for thought.....
Last year Winter's Night Johnathan Hawthorne plaque
This year's Hollywood plaque
I know last year's is hard to read but the dates are different in reguards to the years.

I was around for most of last year's, although I would love to do it again this year. I highly doubt I will make it. Just have to see how things play out.

Unfortunately, the ride and show personnel who work Halloween Horror Nights are actually full-time employees who work in other areas of the park (typically rides or retail). They are selected by the managers to work the event. Universal does not hire additional employees for those positions.
Actually you are only partly right here.... Yes the "line personel" is ride and show operations. You do not have to be full time and they are not picked by a supervisor. We sign up for this thank less privilage. There are people who have been strictly hired to work HHN but you will get "homed" to a certain attraction. I do believe by the end of this month or beginning of August you will see house attendant on the roles of the job site. If it does not contact HR and they may have more info.
