[HHN XX Website Updates]

I believe there is more to come on the site. There are still mysteries to solve involving LT, but beyond that it is known that scareactors have been cast in Kidzone.

But, only six scarezones have been revealed. Is something else going to go down in Kidzone besides a scarezone? Or will there be one of those extra zones like Shadows of the Past last year added in later?

Also every previous year the Icon has taken front stage in preliminary advertisements - but this year we barely see Fear. My immediate guess is they do not wish to spoil his first appearance until after opening weekend when we will see him in his full glory.

After that happens it may well be that he will have a more prominent "in your face" presence on the site and other advertising. For those who can remember it - think of the Jack billboards in the year 2000. They very slowly built up the anticipation about just what was in that box until he was revealed in September closer to the start of the event. Then he was everywhere.

I just don't think we have the full story of what to expect this year, and so my gut reaction is that this isn't all the site will ultimately contain.

We will have to wait and see.

Even though I'm brand new to these boards and the speculation thread. I feel as I am with you guys in spirit - A feeling right before the countdown to a new year where we are anticipating what's in store.

All I know is, I've found a new place to call home and hope there will be many more years of speculation going on where I can be a part of- with the same great group of people that I've seen post on these forums for the past 3 weeks I've been here.

Here are my thoughts before the big update

(DISCLAIMER: I am not actually saying this is true in anyway.. Simply speculation & far fetched ideas... Please do not get offended by opinions expressed in this post)

SS 22 or 23 - I don't know which one.. But I think the Greek Mythology rumor will hold.

as for the other soundstages.. I am at a loss, but I would love to see a Director house that isn't just a walk through different movies..

But actually going through the directors sets while he is filming.. We, the guest, being the stars

I would love to see Eddie's RUN (original concept) be done in a soundstage.. This time they won't have to tone it down.

Disaster Queue - Zombie outbreak.. Survivors fighting back.

JAWS Queue - Good Harvest Orphanage.. With Cindy heating things up a little bit.

-Sprung 1(?) - Shadow Creek... Its unclear right now.. But I see the robots returning...

& I love the rumor about a scientific experement gone wrong.. Opening a portal to hell, releasing hells demons

-Sprung 2(?) - I'll put money on having another Clown Funhouse.. If it isnt in here then perhaps a soundstage.

Parade Building - Semi-Confirmed Museum of the Past... Maybe I'm wrong about a whole funhouse.. Perhaps just a scene in this house?

I'm not going to touch on Scare Zone speculation.. Someone else that has heard a little more can do that.

So do you think the Museum will be the XL house they've been barking about this year?

Also, I don't know about you guys but I'm tired of these 3d fun house haunted houses.

I would love to see that military house use some of the effects that we're used in Dead Exposure. (that feeling of inebriation the sudden flashes would give you was really intense when you feel the scareactors right next to you.)

I do remember seeing them do this in the Body Collectors zone a few years back. The henchmen would attack the guests and drag them into the shadows.

It was one of my most memorable moments seeing a woman with a purse run up to me screaming "HELP" only to be dragged away.

Thay did it last year in SAW... the only reason I know is I walked in the house and this dude joined us from a different entrance... and then he got grabbed.

From what I've been looking at on the pictures it seems the THING prosthetic might scare the SH** out of me =(

Has HHN ever done something to the extent of pulling actors from the crowd in the houses? Like HOS has in the past?

I think this would bring a whole new level of immersion to the event.

Hey Guys,

This is my first post here and I'm beyond excited for the event and love to speculate just as well.

I've noticed through out the years the icons that have been a part of HHN always have a second counter part (for the most part)

Ex: Jack/Eddie

Cindy/Caretaker

Terra Queen/Storyteller

Usher/Director

Fire king/Ice queen

I know it's on a whim but towards the end of last year we had the added scare zone which sort of paid homage to these icons. Could we possibly see them using Cindy as a medium to bringing these past icons all together for the 20th anniversary and using these different "parades" and "ceremonies" as a resurrection of some sort for the Unknown Cindy and the counterpart Dr Cain. (This is just one idea i came up with, on the notion of maybe there is something more than a coincidence why all of these icons have had counterparts built in their same world.)
