  1. No. The main focus in 2009 was on SAW, Wolfman & Chucky.... they did nothing to promote The Usher (unless you count the Publix ticket standee with his hand in the window). It wasn't just on one IP... just like 2007's "main attraction" was NOES, F13 & TCM...

Yeah I know what you mean. But out of the "big three" I would say most of the focus was on Saw. But thats totally based off opinion. I guess we kind of have a similar situation this year with our "big three" being TWD, Silent Hill, and Alice Cooper/P&T. All depends on how you look at it though. Or how they'll promote it.

  2. So the survey confirms that The Walking Dead is this year's theme? Kinda makes sense when you think about it. The picture for The Walking Dead house is the largest on the website. The way I look at it, TWD is like SAW in 2009. Yeah we had an icon in the Usher and the tagline was "Ripped From The Silver Screen", but the main focus was on SAW. In my opinion of course.

  3. With the houses that have already been confirmed and the others that are pretty much unnoficially confirmed, this year is looking absolutely stacked when it comes to houses. I don't get how anyone could complain about any of them. Especially P&T. This years gonna be amazing.

  4. I've never once complained about IP houses. I actually like them a tad bit more than original houses. I didn't try to come off as whining. I'm just a huge fan of the TV series and would love for them to incorporate the characters into the house instead of just having generic zombies. That's all I meant by my post.

  5. Penn and Teller actually has a lot of potential. I've always wanted to see a gory, magicians gone crazy kind of house. Question is, would their house be located in one of the sprung tents? I would guess that Silent Hill, Alice Cooper, the mansion house, and the gargoyle house would take up the soundstages. Just a guess though.

  6. I have a question guys. Why were the "twins" house and the Mayan house scrapped? I understand that the Mayan house was supposed to be in Building 44, but couldn't they have just moved it to another Soundstage or tent? I really don't think theyd let the opportunity of having a Mayan house slip with it being 2012 and all.

  7. Hey guys, one more question. I have a friend who went last weekend and got to see a few houses early with the annual passholders RSVP. But he told me that the houses seemed empty with barely any scareactors and the ones that were there werent really trying. Does this usually happen when you see these houses early with the RSVP?
