  1. Well, if someone ever manages to get any footage, please message me. I'd be willing to pay for a copy. If I can't say that, please let me know and I'll delete.

And if that never happens, I'd love to see if anyone got pictures with the Doctor during the meet and greet. And, if someone could, could you at least post the gist of what happens in the show?

I've been going to Uni/WDW for years, but I've been hopelessly broke for the last two - at least broke enough that I can't afford to go down any time soon. Maybe closer to Christmas, but that won't help me. When I heard about there being a DW tribute in the show, I was so disappointed I wouldn't get to see it. Doctor Who at universal. Who would have thought it? And I missed it! :(

The Dr. NEVER has come out, its usually solely Bill and Ted. For the exception of the last show of the year they are usually the only ones ever that come out.

I DO have pictures AND VIDEO of the show from like the 3 or fourth row. Its not amazing but its pretty damn good for being secretive up until I get shit on right before the Nick Cage part (about half way point of the show). Then I was asked to put it away. I have a lot of pics too. I don't know the best way to share these safely though.

  2. SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT!!!

although i'm not sure why you'd be in this thread if you didn't want to spoil it...

i was INCREDIBLY disappointed with only a short cameo by Lindsay Lohan... as well as Gaga...

they are the pop icons of 2010 (good or bad).

i also thought the dance sequence at the end was HORRIBLE... but i also own a hip-hop theater company, so maybe i am too biased. i thought the choice to bring in a Katy Perry song that NO ONE KNOWS AAAFFFTTTEEERRR a Gaga song was an idiotic choice.

i felt like the acting was pretty good... and although it was lacking the certain "spark" that B&T normally has, i do think the joke writing was good, but the writing concept was poor.

but i'm not going to B&T scouting new talent to win the next Tony Award either.

Whoa whoa....that "Katy Perry song that NO ONE KNOWS" is a huge top ten hit and has dominated the airwaves for months now so I think you're a little disillusioned. And screw Lohan, GaGa yes I think we should have had more, maybe...but Lohan is pure shit. She doesn't deserve any more time of day. We've already seen her three years ago drunk and stupid as she always is. Ok we get the picture.

  3. So far it seems to be You, Rob, Jordan (Nightshade), Wes, Aaron and myself who enjoyed/didn't hate the show this year.

As someone said, I'm in the "fun" stage of the show too now. Rough start and I know I blasted it at first, but it has come a long way. I thoroughly enjoy it now very much. I have a lot of fun at each show I attend, get really into it, stand up and cheer, rock out with the guys...good times. PJ and Jason are a great pair.

  4. I'm going on the 22nd and dragging with me 2 HHN virgins.

I myself have never attended and B&T show before but we were, for all intensive purposes, planning on making it a point to see the show.

Would this year's show not even be worth our time? We are only going for one night but we do have express passes.

Yes go see it, for me its starting to grow on me. See it for yourself, don't let someone else's opinion ruin it for you don't be like the rest of the general public who don't think for themselves. Yes it had a very rough start, but by the time you get it the cast will be comfortable and having fun, prob improving more and such.

  5. Haha, first of all, the cast is not a bunch of circus animals, 2nd..do you know how hard it is to completely erase a performance from your head and move on to another one and thirdly how long it takes to memorize all of the new material, dances and choreography? Alot more than a month :P

Yeah preach it! I don't think they'll be changing any dancing, that wasn't my issue with the show.

  6. Because I won't be at the event until the 20th, I'ce skimmed past the spoilers and just read the 'it sucked' comments :(

It's a shame because for me, Bill and Ted is a huge part of HHN... back in 97 when I was too scared to go in houses, the show was my favourite part, even if most of the humour went over my head. I make a point of catching the show every night I go now. So to hear almost universally rotten things about it saddens me.

On the one hand, I have enjoyed the last few years, so maybe it'll be funny to me... and at least I'll be going in with low expectations, so they could easily be met.

Or, the show could suck so bad it puts me off saving up for another year to visit in 2011.

Still catch it at least once, its worth one viewing. More than likely we will see big changes this week, IF they're smart...I HOPE they read these boards, I know they have in the past but get a hint Uni.

  7. For me, B & T has just been a waste of time for the past two years. The last time I enjoyed the show was in 2006. They seriously need think about this show more than they are, because when normal people who aren't fans walk out and say it's horrible, that's just mot acceptable.

Come on, I loved 06 as much as you but you have to admit after 07 the show as on a upswing. Election years have always been good and last year was the best show I've seen since 06. It had heart, good laughs and actual story, great cast, and good music. My opinion. It just felt more personal.

  8. Sadly i agree. I spoke to T.J about it a little...i didnt tell him it sucked of course but i told him that i didn't enjoy it as much as the past years. He said that with time, changes can be made if they feel its not getting the review it should. The B&T show is very important to them and they want it to be the best as possible for us.

So hopefully, they will see read this thread or w.e it maybe and they might change things up a bit but who knows.

What pull does TJ really have, its Mike's show. Yes technically TJ is Mike's boss I believe but idk...they need to do something fast because the show is in bad shape.

  9. While leaving the theater it was pretty much a communal experience. I could over hear people walking away saying "That was terrible." So many missed opportunities. I'm just happy I have more time for houses and scarezones for the rest of the event.

Yeah def A LOT of missed opportunities, perfect way of describing it. So many things could be done differently. I can't believe they didn't touch on Tiger Woods, or even the Jet Blue employee, fuck Mel Gibson, old news and not funny, fuck Lohan and fuck Tom Cruise. Lame... Get Him to the Greek would have been cool. I loved that movie. Aldous Snow is a Rocker man, he could have made SOME sort of appearance, or Scott Pilgrim idk...something....

Time will tell, I guarantee we will see major changes come Thursday.

I know from speaking with Mike and the cast after the event Friday night, they wasn't happy about some things. Mike was in the booth for the third show which was my show. He was making some faces, I'll say that.

  10. Bill and Ted...you are my favorite part of HHN, you are what I look forward to most every year. Bill and Ted...you broke my heart this year and yes I understand it still is very early, but I feel some major changes need to be made.

The beginning of the show was great intro wise, I was very happy to see the robot/computer voice guy again, that was a good throwback and all around had funny bits. Very nostalgic and actually moving with the montage and all...Then....well things got shitty real quick.

I'm a die-hard fan but I really feel like unloading on this topic...this show was a serious let-down.

I can see how this show is essentially a parody of itself and how the whole "joke on a joke" thing plays out but that doesn't make it funny or right. I feel like because this is Mike's last show he kinda did whatever he wanted to at the audience's expense.

The overall vibe of this show was, "lets take a bunch of cheap shots a celebs as fast as we can in 30 minutes whether or not they're relevant or even funny." I feel like Mike wrote this show last minute or something, it felt extremely forced and rushed at the same time. The magic that was there last year is SORELY missing and MISSED dearly. The jokes were not funny and where forced. There where marks missed and lip-syncs not in sync. Terrible "villain" although I could see how this entire show could possibly reflect Mike's actual experiences writing and directing this show through the years....idk.

Just a lot of mess and awkward silent moments. Shitty characters, a lot of which left people around me clueless. A lot of "who's that...." chatter.

No chemistry in within in the cast and no real moments to let that happen. No flow or story...just really frustrating, I can't say much more without repeating myself, I want to say more but there is no point.

  11. I'm a Christian...I don't care about street props, lol. I know its entertainment, not some statement to persuade or anything. You can take it how you want I suppose. I'm a HUGE HHN fan and have been for years. This has never been an issue for me, street construction wise. As someone said, the streets MUST be huge this year if they're starting this elaborately THIS early.

  12. Calm down.. your hitting the space bar so hard, your gunna poop your pants... Its merely opinions, maybe I was wrong about the Fire King..

But I know for a fact.. Wait I'm sorry, that gets taken to literal

I a 97% certain that this is Darkness.
