Earlier I stated I was wondering why these photos in specific were chosen. Now we find out that they are deteriorating on their own despite efforts to preserve them. I get the feeling that what is happening to these photos are warnings of some kind and specific to who is being warned... Burning images of Caine. Blood splattered on the Director and Chainsaw Drill Team....HHN's past. If the latern is capable of capturing the past, or if the fire is no longer able to be contained by the latern, then what's happening to these images of the past might be a sign in and of itself.

Are you suggesting that I should drop my theory?

The Midway and Mardi Gras connection had crossed my mind. I didn't realize the connection of Caine and Cindy to a house... However, I've been trying to remember what Caine was doing during when that picture was taken. An arrival show? An live experiment? Why the cloaked assistants and what was that box? Also, why Cindy's coffin scene? Are these items/actions significant? Maybe they are just foreshadowing houses and scarezones. I don't know. That's why I brought it up. Good thinking though!

Is there any reason to question why these specific images and screen shots were chosen? I mean everone has identified them, puzzled, matched, compared, etc....but has it been dicussed yet why these?

I know I've mentioned this befoe, but I don't have the technical capability to experiement with this idea: I noticed that, aside from the markings hinting that the pictures are pieces of a puzzle, the Midway of the Bizzare picture seems to have another picture superimposed onto it. Not the markings. Some kind of paint-cracked wall with what appears to be a blackboard. After messaging IH about it, the response I got seemed to be encouragement to keep going. Has anyone been able to check this out? Has anyone seen this too?

I saw that... they patterns form an arc.... but the other pics don't seem to match up as well. Also, try zooming in on the Midway pic, bottom left corner.... basically to the left of the guy in the purple costume

Dr Jimmy strike again... take a "close look" at the midway picture....compare it to the orignal shown on the HHN site under Legacy-Origins.... There seem to be other pictures super-imposed onto these. The LT pic doesn't match up to the one on the HHN site. And in the bottom left....I see what appears to be a blackboard

I'm also trying to fit the picture together like a puzzle...if you put the festival of the dead pic on the left of the Midway pic.... there is a matching arch

Maybe those marks were always there and just now started coming out... like re-appearing ink. OR Remember the movie "National Treasure"? Hidden markings appeared after heat was applied. Maybe heat, apparently fire if you look at the burn holes, got to these existing pictures and revealed the lantern shadows.

uh... it isn't? I mean, from the game's perspective, they are essentially our employers. We are operatives in the field and online researching cases that are openned and issued to us by LT.

How shortly? in other words, can I focus on work until 5 and not miss anything instead of constantly checking? lol

Probably nothing, but I was lloking at the polaroids on the HHN site. I have read about examinations of the Shadow Creek pic and the segment of the house design which resembles ShadyBrook.... so I focused on the skull, the elongated skull like those found around the world. Mainly Peruvian and Inca skulls. Some linked them to people binding royal childrens' heads, etc etc... the reason I'm bringing it up is the why some have classified the different types of skulls found: cone-head, "J", "M" and........... jack-o-lantern.... again, probably nothing, but wanted to put it out there.

Himmel once advised that I "ask colleagues". I think posting facebook responses are not a problem.

Has the lantern shown up in previous years? I mean, maybe it has and we haven't realized it. Jack-o-lantern...the fires the forged the blade...fire queen (opposite of ice queen)... burst of fire from the lake....lit torches..... Could the fire be it and the lantern only a containment vessel and appears to be weakening on the HHN site?

still... from the game's perpective LT calls the shots. They hold the narrative and timeline of what is revealed and when. To say you were sent to them is attempting to alter their narrative without outcome. Sure its all in fun, but its not like the story will be rewriten so that they take you in to fing out who "he" is.

That's what I was asking her... if there are other sites out there...if LT is keeping watch of any other in particular.... something along those line. The above is how she replied. I think she pointed me back in this direction to read up on those on the right track.

I too have received about 3 replies from Himmel. Never any solid info, but I KNOW its because I'm asking her the wrong questions. Dr Jimmy studied the entimology (sp?) of her name so I can see why she praises his "insight"... it means he's on to something...asking the right questions and making the right observations. IH Its been confirmed that this sight is monitored...no matter how "creepy" it may seem. I believe she also meant to point me in the directions of those who ARE making "progress". Perhaps Dr Jimmy is such a colleague.

I'm glad you asked that because I wanted to ask the same thing but was worried you would get a direct response to a direct question like she has done twice to me already. I left it open-ended, asking wether there are other contacts we need to be tracking down to help further research into this investigation. BTW: the other two responses were #1 in regards to her background experience and how its being put to use at LT. She responded with something along the lines of bringing a highly develoment skill level regarding the handling of descrete matters. #2 why we need discretion since we are on a fact-finding mission. She responded with until we know exactly what we're dealing with, descretion is the better part of valour.
