Even if teh "balloons" clue has been determined, I'd like to share something stubbled upon (someone posted in on FB).
A 7 minute short titled "Balloons" about zombies. Kinda touching...

IMy guess - The world clock or doomsday clock. This also suggests a nuclear holocaust, as does the quote.
The words in the image appear to be - as much as. The first to letters are either NK or OK. If OK, then I would suggest the words look or took to be the word.
It is the doomsday clock, you're right.
the message: "think as much as..."???
Perhaps the Ifrit posting this soon after the Doc posted the above is not coincidence....
could there be a link between "balloons" and the doomsday clock?

Charts, maps, navigation..... Did Terra Cuentas ever burn?

I know everyone is thinking clowns and werewolves, but I think Jimmy wants to Murdy the waters this year,
John Murdy?
PS, Hi everyone! Glad to be back

The phone calls are probably teasing for whatever theme, story, or Icon they have planned for this year. I don't think it's singling out a specific house.
Well the calls are targeting sites like these. It would be wierd if they are referring to houses we've been discussing for a while now. Especially on the eve of the website reveal. It would imply something more
-
When I first realized there were a few "digging", "unearthing", and "buried" references, I first thought: an Undertaker type as an icon. Someone else mentioned a Grave Digger later on but it did not result in confirmations or much furhter talk.
The second thing I thought of was indian burial grounds. This was brought up in the last age (I think by Christy). Poltergeist is based off building a house on burial grounds and so the Victorian Mansion connection was made.
Then I also thought of old movie scenes of zombies coming out of their graves.
But I still think there is more to it. It might not be worth straining the brains anymore since the full reveal is this week...but its been a week already that I've been battling with these references.

One thing regarding the first clue for this clue (that's confusing":
Ifrit said "Don't let the setting distract from the terror"
Might that mean that we shouldn't let Silent Hill distract us from the real clue?
Yup, that supports my new line of thinking. But then we are assuming that every clue from Ifrit is about the same thing and not individual clues about separate things (like house or SZ or SA)
-
Again, I think the Silent Hill symbol as the obvious clue was to signify that this picture was meant go with that house. Combining houses or icons into one clue would be convoluted. Could be entirely wrong, but I think Heather was onto something regarding Fe and the Iron Lady.
I know that that's what my original line of thought was, but the recent picture clue threw me off. Why make it a point to tell us that the shorthand is not referring to the ore and allude to the Iron Lady? It seems to steer away from the main point (so we thought) of Silent Hill
-
ok, so here's a stretch for all of you...
In an effort to find other shorthands of "Fe", I found that if you search for imaged of "Fe=2" you get images of a Nikon camera.
Could this be a nod to the DE type house that has been speculating?
-
woo hoo! caught up with all my forum reading to be able to comment and participate!
I think this latest clue can be a bit misleading. We have the Silent Hill cross right smack in the middle of the page, yet thusfar the outling remarks are being speculated as story or icon hints.
To all those who know Silent Hill best:
Does any specific element have a significant meaning in the storyline?
Does " 26 more to ingruing..." also ring any bells?

From past conversation, depending on which night Halloween falls on, the end of the month gets a bit crowded. Also, there is a day in mid-October when colleges and universities have a Friday off. That weekend is the worst and has been called "Hell Week". It's be good to find out when that one is.

yeah, I got the vegas reference. Just didn't think it meant something.
3D is the easy answer (usually the right one). I complicate things... started thinking In-Between type thoughts.

P&T has not been nuked from the roster. It is 100% they will be there and it's not a show as Legacy said.
But I will assume they will bring some of their Glitter Gulch ways with them. They are a magic show after all... but I'm hoping to see other dimensions of what they can do rather than the typical stuff they are known for.
Heh... I see what you did there.
In an attempt to figure this out: Legacy's "heh" is either about the Glitter Gulch reference or the "see other dimensions" phrasing.
It could be something else but that's what I'm seeing. And I'm going with other dimensions... but of what or how is what I'm wondering. Eager to see

I can see this as a huge market for money making.
Sell flags at the entrance. Guests opt into playing along. Online score boards shoing who lasted the longest. No prizes, just bragging rights.
-
Escape infection?
This reminds me very much about the zombie themed mud-runs that have spung up lately. Its just like a Warrior Dash or Spartan, but you wear 3 flags. The zombies "attack" by trying to take your flag. At the end of the run, no flags = infected or dead.
Mix this with "alternate endings" and "escape infection" and "plan your escape".... could HHN be going more-interactive?

Are you thinking a twist to the current day-time parade? Instead of Spongebob and Hop characters we get memorable movie monsters/characters?

Movement in strange lands... Dark rumblings indeed. However, there are no foreign lands. It is the traveler only who is foreign.
Hey guys, long time! Making my way back to the forums I read over this (above).
JWFearman kinda dismissed it since it did come out of left field but I think it merits a second look. Someone else mentioned Robert Louis Stevenson. After checking I realized they meant that this was a quote of something Stevenson once said (the last part anyways).
I follows the literary quoting we've come to know from others who have provided hints in the past. Also, "dark rumbings" sounds like the whispsers of rumors to me.
Just throwing it out there. This may be our first hint of the season.

Wilson... Your link doesn't seem to be working... just a wall-papered background. Any suggestions?
PS: 7's blue dressed scareactor looks amazing....No disrespect but I'd easily be lured in. dang

Beat all the games. lady luck will appear on your left next to *THE HOUSE* click her, it will tell you her back story that will lead you to clickable's. click the book and it will basically tell you the back story to her scare zone.
Thanks... I missed the fact that the last card is now ready.... waiting for 6PM to see for myself
-
This pic definitely captured her back story!
Looks awesome!
What backstory?
-
Well, my wife and I will be going October 16. Might be more, don't know yet. But we are set!
...and she's such an easy target, ha!
-
man I cant wait for this year, I am really liking all the houses and mazes and also this will be my first time going into a 3-D house so that will be fun. I forgot when does Hell Week start?
Usually the only week / weekend I'm able to go so I'm prettu accurate when guessing..... Oct 14 or 15.
-
Yep... and they give it away in the description...
Sets or projections depicting a melting city..... nice.
I'm very impressed with the ideas this year. Especially some of the scarezones, like 7 and Nightmaze. I need to pull back on the imagination though so as not to overshadow the reality of what we will be seeing. I can imagine temptresses changing forms all I want but as somone mentioned a while back: "there's no cgi at HHN" lol.
-
Yep. Definitely something more to come, although it may be something different than what we're expecting.
Well...we are expecting more games and some have joked about a 9th house (I know, its not happening).
The clues clearly suggest to keep playing the site games regardless of the seemingly completed state of the house of cards ("stacks of the decks").
They refer to our speculations of the event and currently clouded views and how this added dimension (to the games or playing of the games?) can help clear things up...
maybe?

Hey guys,
Any word on Florida Resident discounts? I'm getting email about early-bird sales and not sure if these or the resident passes will be a better deal. Thanks
