I find it pretty cool to be able to say that I will actually be in LA when a press release is released for once haha, heading there in the morning(:
but as for the hatchet, i've barely even heard of it, I honestly think Trick r' Treat has a better chance. Especially with how lately Trick r' Treat has been getting a bunch of publicity due to HHN and people trying to get it there. I cant even name how many posts i saw from the die hards on the FB page last year telling everybody to include Trick r' Treat in there votes for mazes this year. Who knows if that actually helped but lets hope it did. TEAM TRICK R' TREAT!!!

Well that sucks, I thought that would have been a cool theme but as long as it is something we have never seen before thats good enough for me(:
Now that we know that we will not have the same theme as Orland why dont we try and start thinking of any possible themes.
I think it'll probably be a theme somewhat like Orlando's in terms of their theme not relating to an icon, especially since murdy said it'll have several themes? Is it a possibility that our theme will just kind of tie all of the mazes together and in that way it has several different themes? hmm.
by the way I noticed that I said theme like a million times in the above sentences^ aha
my bit of randomness for the day.

^The TCM sequel (Yes, it's a sequel, not a remake) is set to come out next October. I think they would want to wait until the iron's hot until they revisit the Hewit family in Texas.
I hope the next maze they announce next week is going to be either Soap Opera, Trivia, or Steven. We all pretty much know what 3DN and Bunny Gibbons are.
Alright i agree with that so we can more than likely cross TCM off our list for this year. Im just trying to think of other horror movies that we havnt thought of yet so DTH doesnt have to go crazy by us getting our hopes up for TrT lol

Besides, "in the cards" is more of a psychic term than a gambling term.
I remember Miss Cleo saying it a bunch on her dumb informercials back in the early 2000's.
I wouldnt count out a gambling theme just yet, it would make sense for orlando and hollywood to have the same theme, especially since they are sharing the thing maze. Also since I havnt seen the movies in forever would TCM fit any of the hints and codenames we've gotten so far? i know with HOTC coming back as it is alot of you probably would HATE to see TCM come back aswell especially since HOTC and TCM are kind of similar but im just trying to throw some more movies into the speculation.

Ill have to agree with this!! i dont think murdy would ever have two zombie SZ but as of one sounds more reasonable. Either SZ would be cool to me although i rather prefer a zombieland SZ
If we were to get either of these 2 SZ's I would think it would be zombieland, since Im pretty sure zombieland has more of a following since majority of the GP has seen it since it's mainly a comedy and the walking dead was just a zombie show so to have really been interested in it you would have had to been interested in zombies whereas with zombieland, it was a comedy movie about zombies with jessie eisenberg and woody harrelson so ALOT of people have seen it. Plus there is quite a few rememberable zombies from zombieland such as the clown zombie, Bill Murray dressed up as a zombie, etc.

Hmm I dont know if we'd have a zombieland SZ and a walking dead SZ. 2 zombie scarezones seem like to much to me but I could be wrong...
So if we have something to say, make sure we make it extra long to make sure we save space? Or if we have info make sure we make an extra long commentary or don't share it at all until we have even more info so we can make the post extra long?
What he means is that dont post something and then post something else right after it, just edit your posts to make it more lengthy instead of just racking up the amount of posts in this thread and if you actually have something good to say, say it whether it's lengthy or not but dont just come on here and say something like "I agree." or "that sounds good." at least this is what I got from Steven's post.

I remember this post and I also remember that it got quite a nice response from HHN fans, which is one of the reasons why I havnt completely given up hope on Trick r' Treat.
I know that there has to be something bigger than just new mazes coming to HHN this year cause John keeps going on about how alot of people are going to be suprised by this year and that alot of people are going to be happy with this year. What if Murdy finally got the rights to the exorcist?

I know Trick r' Treat doesnt have GREAT chances of it coming this year but im not gonna give up all hope yet but Im gonna keep it in my mind that the chances are very small just so that when it doesnt come im not completely heartbroken, lol.

I hope you'll enjoy the Thing. Admittedly, it's a BIT slow but when it kicks up, it sure as hell goes INSANE. The Strangers is okay...
And same here. I had a feeling HOTC would return as well. I was hoping against it, since I wasn't the maze's biggest fan but oh well. I'd love to give it another shot this year.

And yeahh so do I, and as for the strangers, I've heard it's pretty creepy and it was only like $8 so I bought it lol. -
So quick little story. Today I was in Best Buy and I walked by the Apple computer section in the store. As I walked by I had a lightbulb go off in my head. I walked over to the computers and brought up Hollywood's Halloween Horror Nights website on every computer and walked away hahaha(: pictures below VVV
But back on to speculation!
I think the way that Freak was with Wolfman last year is how I am with Trick R' Treat this year sadly....I want trick r' treat more than anything! Even more than Chucky!
I finally got "The Thing" recorded so i'll be watching that tomorrow, along with Insidious (again) and FINALLY The Strangers!
As for HOTC coming back...I've honestly been expecting it the moment I stepped foot in that maze last year...It was highly anticipated and highly praised by the end of the event.
I guess we cant really know what else is coming for sure until the rest of the Press Releases are released, im just glad we are getting info ALOT quicker than last year.

Alright well I have John Carpenters version of The Thing set to record tomorrow so I will watch it then and let you guys know what I think about it tomorrow. Although I have watched a few videos on youtube and it looks a bit more promising. My main thing about it at the moment is that I just simply have not seen it.

We have speculated on GV Black being anything from Evil Dead/Army of Darkness to Trick r Treat to Scream to the Thing. My money's on the Thing.

Oh and just thinking out loud...we all know how much murdy loves to mess with us...Freak posted about how GV black supposedly has a bunch of dark areas and such? So does Insidious....now i know murdy said that he hadn't seen the movie yet, but what if he's messing with us so that nobody would think it would be coming...he did say that there are alot of suprises for this year, and i think that would be one of the biggest suprises yet...just a thought...
And also if somebody could make a list of what we speculated for GV Black that would be awesome so that we could possibly further speculate on it.

I've missed out on alotttttttt. I was at Disneyland all week. Would anybody like to update me as to how trick r' treat and evil dead are officially out? cause i think i missed the tweet lol, and anything else important that i missed out on if anybody could update me on it that woud be great, thanks in advance!
