  1. You thought "The Woman in Black" was scary ? :o

I personally thought it was a typical 'haunted house' horror movie with Harry Potter in it and a not very scary looking spirit. ><

Really?! Yess! One of my favorite movies! I thought it was fantastic. Finally a new horror movie that wasn't focused all around how much blood could possibly be put in there. And am I like one of the only people that can look past the fact that "Harry Potter" is in it? haha. Daniel Radcliffe is an AMAZING actor and should be aloud to play new roles without always being referred to as Harry Potter haha.

  2. No I Mean I DOUBT TCM completly it was pushed back so I DOUBT we will see TCM this year. and what I ment about Polterguist is that the clues fit but the codename does not the song "Suffer Little Children" is about Child Murders in the moores of Manchester England So I think 3 points 1. Child Murder 2. Moores and 3. Manchester or England which non have to do with polterguist yes their are children in those movies but im pretty sure they survived IDK thats just my thinking.

........Wait.......Has anybody brought up the fact that those all match "The Woman in Black" ? Just sayin. That would be a freaking EPIC maze.

  3. What sort of monsters would there be in Poltergeist? Its been a while since I've seen the movie, but I remember a clown doll, a big creature, and a few corpses at the end. Wasn't most of the stuff that happened done by invisible ghosts?

That is true, I haven't seen the movie in quite some time as well but I don't remember there being a lot of actual creatures/monsters in it...hmmm.

  4. I'm HOPING it's Poltergeist. That'd just be freakin' awesome and I'd be so excited to see how they make it a maze. And ofcourse, The Exorcist being the Exorcist, how could you turn that down? Even if one thinks those aren't good concepts for mazes, they can't deny those are MUST SEEs to see how they were pulled off.

    Never leave us again!!! :'(

I would be honestly happy with either of those mazes. They're fantastic. And I will try not to!(:

  5. ^ That's the VERY VERY VERY short story lmao

Here's just the VERY VERY short story:

(I'd link you to what each of the codenames these apply to and what not but that would only be the VERY short story)

As Grind said, 99% sure on Walking Dead.

He says 75% on Silent Hill, I would say 85%!

La Llorona is probably going to return. My speculation says it's either Poltergeist or The Exorcist though. But La Llorona seems like a big possibility.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre could very well return! Not enough significant proof toward that yet but early speculation leads us into that area.

Lords of Salem maze seems likely. Either that or Rob Zombie doing an original maze of some sort.

Earlier, we believed House of Horrors may not get an overlay and just promote the "100 Years of Horror" but Murdy recently suggested industrial/dubstep/electronic music will be in the maze, leading us to believe The Reapers may get a maze this year.

There's doubts Eli Roth will return since he has to open the Goretorium in Vegas this October.

Alice Cooper doesn't fit any of the hints yet but we're not ruling him out. There's also been talk of a KISS maze *shutters at the thought*

We're going to be seeing more of the clowns. Amusement parks in 2 mazes. The possible return of 3D. Giant vehicles. Giant facades. The biggest set they've ever done at HHN in one of the mazes. A possible scare from below due to a pit being dug in the WWW arena. All 6 of the locations from before will return but the extended Mummy queue location will have a rerouted queue due to Transformers. Nothing has lead us to believe Terror Tram will be in a new location other than some survey questions. Terror Tram will be based off a property again (ala Scream 4), whether or not that property will also be a maze or scarezone is yet to be seen. 2 properties pulled out and were changed -- one earlier in the year and one at the last minute. The mazes only take place in two countries this year, as oppose to last year which was 6 (France, Mexico, United States, Antarctica, some Russian country, London).

If we were 100% right, the mazes would be:

    The Walking Dead

    Silent Hill

    La Llorona

    Lords of Salem

    Texas Chainsaw Massacre

FEAR the Reaper (in the House of Horrors)

    ^ I'd say that's a pretty good line up.

I think you know the jist of it now haha

    Okay sweet, thank you DTH!

On the maze that could quite possibly be La Llorona, I was guessing either poltergeist or the excorcist as well.

And a Silent Hill maze would be pure amazingness. I have been waiting for that one.

    I've missed you guys!

  6. Well, it's possible, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Since there should be a sequel coming out to theaters this Fall, I'm sure it's very likely but after all of the stuff that happened last year, I'm going to keep my expectations low. After all, it is the same thing he said last year.

Just a thought, Sam would make a really good theme and an icon. :)

I meant to say that the JP/Alice Cooper venue will be receiving a make-up location around the tram plaza. Because of Transormers and how much overflow there was with AC last year, the sixth house and the Terror Tram loading will switch places. We will NOT be losing any net haunted houses. As far as I know, we should still be having the lower lot venue. We may need that for a big reboot of an extremely popular house in the past.

Speaking of which, how would everyone feel if Murdy pushed for a seventh house? I wouldn't mind if Transformers increased the budget enough to where it wouldn't affect the quality.

I agree that Sam would make an EXCELLENT icon! It would be so cool! And if he is I wanna see a SZ based after the scene with the big festival in the streets. There could be a lot of different random things in there and it would be pretty easy to do.

OH OKAY! Good! I was scared there for a minute about the make-up venue thing...

And about the whole 7th maze thing...If they could do it without messing with the quality of the mazes I would totally be all for it! The more mazes the better in my opinion. Since I always get FOL pass (even though the system is sketch now) I do everything pretty much before 9:30 and after that I just keep repeating everything unti 2 AM. It'll give those with the pass more to do and maybe it will have more demand for the FOL pass which might bring the original system of it back (probably not, but I can hope haha).

  7. Awesome! How was it Jordan? I'm sure it was awesome getting to see everything with the lights on AND have the guy in charge of everything give you the tour. I'm sure the "feather ninja" scene looked interesting with the lights on. :)

haha the feather ninja scene is just a black wall with a big rectangular hole in it. and the actor wears a black body suit. realllllllly simple scare and sometimes hit or miss but reallllly affective if it's a hit lol, and oh my gosh i dont think my life could get any better after that day! It was PERFECT! Knowing all of the inside jokes and where everything came from and such is so cool lol. I remember almost everthing that john said on the tour! lol

I feel 85% certain that Alice Cooper will return. Hopefully it'll be a different creation though; perhaps Welcome 2 My Nightmare?

I just hope next time around they focus on something truly terrifying and creepy.

And I'm sure the relationship with Rob Zombie will transfer over to next year also with Lords of Salem.

As much as I absolutely loved La Llorona, I don't wanna see it back unless it's a brand new maze but I don't know how easy that would be to pull off with the content.

Perhaps moving it to a new venue would give it a needed freshness but that's doubtful.

I wanna hit HHN again one more time for some reason. I still feel like I'm missing something this year...

I quite honestly would not be mad at all if Alice Cooper came back! I LOVED that maze and really wanna see it again. I have a VERY strong feeling that it will be coming back since we all know how much John LOVES Alice and when I was on the tour he told me he wants to live in that maze lol. So pretty much as long as WTMN gets good reviews (which so far it has) it will probably be coming back.

  8. sorry i've been non-existent to this forum you guys, i've been super busy lately! But hopefully i can start coming on more again. Since everything for La Llorona started getting posted i've actually become REALLY excited for it and from everything i've heard about it, it's going to be creepy as hell! My most anticipated maze is still the thing and im REALLY glad that they havnt given to much away about it cause im gonna be going in that maze not knowing what to expect. I can tell alice cooper is gonna be trippy and awesome. House of 1000 corpses is the same. Hostel looks amazingly gory so im stoked and im excited to see how much of an actual layover they do for the wolfman cause i've heard it's actually a pretty decent layover this year.

  9. Freak beat me to the punch! I cant really have much of an opinion on this topic this year since i live in the sacramento area and can only go once (I should actually get to go twice this year!) a year. But I was planning on moving to LA next year or the year after and i was DEFFINITELY planning on buying this pass so i hope that they bring it back or atleast a form of it back, cause im going to want to buy it!
