You bring up a very interesting point. If Universal is for some reason unable to use Dr. Mary Agana as Bloody Mary, perhaps they can use her Grandmother the previous incarnation of Bloody Mary instead without any trademark violations?

Also in my post above I forgot to mention another bit of rather sketchy info I have received about HHN XX. Although I am completely in the dark as to what it is exactly, there will be something very interesting and wonderful up in the area where the Skoolhouse stood two years ago.

Well, every school DOES have a janitor (if we're to run with this list of hints), but that just seems... I don't know, really silly to have a horror icon be a janitor. But you never know, A&D can make almost anything compellingly frightening.

Hello everyone have been gone for a while but now I am back! Time to shed some new light on the Lantern. A week ago the Lantern bursted into flames revealing many things which have caught my fancy(and attention for that matter). The lantern holds some secrets for the event as honestly the website makes no bloody sense! I mean I am not even sure if the character page is just teasing us and just showing stuff from past years or if is what will show up. I am going o be buying a ticket soon but I am almost not sure about that because of my confusion with the event so far. So moving on. The lantern holds many of the objects of past I cons, Storytellers glasses, Ushers flashlight. You know just some little stuff. But what I wanted to get to was the Faces in the flames... HHNRumors has posted pictures of that that quite frankly are odd. I looked at them but cannot see the faces that people have swore up and down about. What do you guys think about the whole thing? A bunch of rumors or is it for real? The flames do look like faces but just ordinary wacked up face... not those of our precious icons. And whats with the fact that Bloody Mary was cut out of that picture with the four characters?

youve missed alot in a week, i suggest you go back through the thread as all of this has been discussed. but as recap, some people see the faces some dont but they do appear in the flames that ficker outside of the lantern, bloody mary wont officially be there this because of some copyright thing.

Well when I think of bald people, I think of either a widespread ilness/epidemic, (causing hair loss, and worse symptoms), or, I think of patients. What if they are test subjects for brain surgery (whose heads need it be shaved before surgery, whether it be half or whole),, and doctors are trying to distort the human brain?

the only problem with a michael myers house is that it would be too much out of its element. The scares in the original movie at least were not really from him jumpiing out of nowhere, it was sort of like the strangers where this faceless being is invading your space, plus the movie really wasnt that graphic minus the dud with the glasses.

okay so lets say that were going with mostly new stuff, they could be focusing on different cultures of fear, like hoodoo/voodoo in the new orleans area, or romanian vampies, mythological creatures. dont forget the zombie myth came from the voodoo/hoodoo culture.........., even the old irish myth about the jack-o-lantern, ...........

I think they would be able to pump scent into any house they want to. The smell of burning wood in the Jaws Queue would be pretty terrifiying on my part. (Im afraid of people burning up hah) And yeah...the fecal matter smell, from what i heard, was incredibly realistic. I enjoyed the smell of popcorn when you entered Silver Screams last year. (I'd rather smell buttery goodness over pooh any day of the week hah)

And did you say a mad hatter was cast? Hm. I though the past year names were only being assigned to the Hollywood SZ. tHis just keeps getting curiouser and curiouser...

i think it might be a little harder to get a smell pumped into a house thats outside, the only memorable smells that i can remember were those of ones in soundstages and buildings, not queue houses.

I hope so that is one of my favorite things about HHN. The smells tend to really place you into the environment at least they do for me.

Yeah Mango it was Flames of Fear; I think that was mentioned a few posts ago.

So, according to this speculation, the lantern (the flames) belong to fear......who is....? Fear ITSELF? (Or himself...or HERself ) Hmmmmmm

And concerning that new codename for the Jaws Queue, "crispy" could be a codename for somebody whose been burned.

Barber? intresting codename. I think jaws has my intrest so far with the way it is looking and actor roles. I do not expect to much from the location though.

This is a crazy far-fetched idea and obviously wouldn't be the case, but I figured I'd throw it out there for convo lol:

What if the new characters/icons took over HHN XX?

For example, right now were seeing characters that are suppose to be here this year for a reunion year. Almost like a happy (as ironic as that sounds) little event with the old icons . But the new icons are planning to kill this years icons to start the "new era of darkness." Think of it like Freddy vs. Jason style - bad guy against bad guy. In succeeding, the new icons take over HHN and terrorize everyone who enters - showing how they torture each icon (a house for each icon being tortured). They show their evil power over the event and warp it into a whole new type of evil and scare, where they then plant the new seed for horror creatures to be born.

I know it sounds crazy! It was a random thought that popped in my head lol

But, what if!?

It would be cool if they did some kind of plot twist that non of us were expecting though!

i think this would be one of the cooler ideas that anyones had so far.

true what the above conversations say what happenes at a wedding???? family comes together to celebrate the joining of two people a reuion of somesorts and what are all the icons to each other if not family this wedding can come into play somewhere along the lines but idk how they will tie cindy into this.
