  1. I haven't seen the Cinematic Celebration show but Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle is hugely popular and very good IMO. I personally can't wait for this new show but I'm a sucker for neon and synth (I loved AOV: Cyberpunk last year). At the very least it might suck some crowds.
  2. Us is confirmed. RIP Tooth Fairy, we hardly knew ya. https://blog.universalorlando.com/whats-new/us-at-hhn-2019/
  3. I don't like when people use the terms "real horror" or "actual horror" because it's just so subjective. Horror isn't always slashers and gore. Case in point, the house that actually scared me the most last year was Seeds of Extinction because that existential, Lovecraftian, Weird Horror just frightens me. That wouldn't be considered "real horror" but it worked really well for what it was.
  4. https://twitter.com/SFXmagazine/status/1153376228268748801?s=20 UOR just gave a HHN presentation in the UK and this is what they said about this house. What else do you think we're gonna see in this house? The Firehouse? The Ecto-1?
  5. This is so smart. I love these promo videos. Kinda wish they did them for the original houses but I get why they don't.
  6. I noticed how it was showcasing the NY Public Library backdrop and the Firehouse from the movie. Are you talking about the "Unknown IP" that's gonna queue there or something to do with the actual GB house?
  7. I wouldn't say I'm excited, but I am definitely more interested in US than I would be in a Tooth Fairy house. Depths of Fear is the original house I'm most excited about.
  8. It was pretty popular, more than the recent Purge movies or HDD. And since it's Blumhouse you know that UOR can easily get it into HHN. I thought it was good, and it has a distinct 80's theme and references stuff like Hands Across America. The originals are always great, but "Tooth Fairy" was easily the house I was least interested in.
  9. Especially not after this leak: https://themeparkuniversity.com/universal/universal-accidentally-leaks-ghostbusters-coming-to-halloween-horror-nights-2019/
