  1. Hey, let's check in Horror Nights. ...Huh, House of 1000 Corpses. Meh, seen it before, and means we're getting less original houses this year, but it might be interesting to see Orlando's take on wait a minute. All the houses and scarezones have been announced...and none of them are The Purge! WE'RE FREE! THE CURSE HAS BEEN LIFTED!
  2. YES!!! I've always wanted a Disneyland parody at Horror Nights! Thank you for this! Also, it was the Yeti at Expedition Everest at Disney World that was damaging the ride, not the Matterhorn.
  3. Dang, this is creepy, especially with that woman at the beginning. However, it seems you've placed this in the wrong section of the site. This section is for sharing your own works of horror, not ones made by other people.
  4. I don't find gore all that scary, so I don't mind
  5. I don't know, but I do know that the person that greenlit it probably had his paycheck cut.
  6. At least it's early enough that rights issues shouldn't get in the way of announcements.
  7. I would just like to point out that Orlando's event is currently the only event that hasn't announced it's full line-up yet. If someone hasn't been fired yet, then they're on very thin ice.
  8. At least it isn't a house this year.
  9. Can we just take a moment to appreciate the fact that the marketing is so messed up that the commercial came out before the full reveal? I'm not even mad at this point. I just find this hilarious.
  10. Excited for the new show! But then again, they could have announced that it's the exact same show as last year and I still would be hyped as hell.
  11. Umm... some of those years didn't even have IPs, so just judging from all the past Houses of the Year is a bit unfair. I think that a fairer assessment would be to only look at the years that emphasized the IPs (2007, 2009, 2012-16), since they're what started this discussion in the first place. 2007 - IP 2009 - IP (could make the argument that it's an original) 2012 - Original 2013 - IP 2014 - Tie 2015 - Original 2016 - IP Counting it up, we've got 5-3 in favor of IPs (4-4 if you count Dracula: LoB as an original). Admittedly, the IPs did have a numbers advantage for these years, but my point still stands: IPs can and have put out amazing houses. Also, overall house rankings might actually be better in this case. Do we have those for the listed year?
  12. Also of note, Malice seems to be the only icon without a name other than her sin.
  13. Interesting take on the seven deadly sins idea. Instead of trying to fit the icons to the pre-existing sins that aren't that scary to begin with in some case (looking at you, Sloth), they made their own sins to work with
  14. So, we should not expect any new announcement until the full reveal? At least we don't have to wait too long for that.
