  1. 10 houses including TWD, no terror tram, so really 9 houses. 2 left to be announced
  2. Hmmm usually I'd say that it's still fairly soon after your auditions, but with Orientation coming up I'd guess that emails would start going out maybe this week/weekend or early next week. But I'm not sure how different the casting is for specific roles like that, they may have later orientation days for you guys Definitely don't lose hope since no one in your audition group seems to have gotten emails yet. Apparently it's pretty rare for people to get golden tickets but not get a casting email. That being said, I auditioned 4 years in a row without getting a casting email (even though I got a golden ticket each time). But again, you guys were auditioning for specific character roles. I'm sure they'll need plenty of people (including backups and pool) since a lot of people end up quitting the first week or two (they hold additional auditions then too, which is how I got hired last year)
  3. Oh well I stand corrected, my bad! That's what I get for not reading through the description fully lol
  4. I doubt there will be scenes from season 3 in this years maze. Universal is probably going to keep milking each Stranger Things season for mazes as long as it's on (which I'm fine with, I definitely want a season 3 maze by itself)
  5. One thing I'm happy about is I'm positive they will be reusing lots of props and sets from Krampus and the Shining mazes. Hoping to see those possessed snowmen again
  6. [Zombieman edit to add location] Location: Studio Backlot (where Holidayz in Hell was in 2018) Halloween isn’t the only holiday that happens this time of year. The Celtic festival of Hop-tu-Naa is celebrated on October 31st as well. There’s also All Saints’ Day, followed by All Souls’ Day, and of course Mexico’s Dia de Muertos; all of which share this season with the centuries old Gaelic festival of Samhain. Samhain celebrates our transition into the “darker” months at the end of the harvest season. The souls of the dead are thought to return home on this night, and are welcomed with costumes and bonfires. Some say the costumes were actually intended to protect oneself from these otherworldly beings. Here’s hoping they’re relatively peaceful during your visit…
  7. [Zombieman edit to add location] Location: Tunnel leading to Backlot (where ToXXic Tunnel was in 2018) Yes, if you wish to experience the mazes on our Metro Lots, you’ll have to get through the tunnel once again. This time, the warped and cartoonish members of a demonic custom car club have taken over, and they don’t plan on letting you get very far on foot.
  8. [Zombieman edit to add location] Location: New York Streets (where Trick 'r Treat was in 2018) Sacred antiquities have just been shipped over from the Far East, and they didn’t come alone. Many of these artifacts were stolen from ancient temples and carry angry spirits with them. Now the spirits roam New York Street, looking to exact vengeance on anyone who would dare steal such sacred relics. Be careful out there, these powerful demons can look like anything – even innocent school children.
  9. [Zombieman edit to add location] Location: Park entry (where Hell's Harvest was in 2018) Explore crypts packed with restless ghouls and escape angry skeletons that have taken over Main Street. If you think the aged statues are creepy, wait until you encounter the wraith who will be literally watching over you. You can also spread your own demonic wings while you’re here, but be sure not to antagonize the Angel of Death.
  10. Thank you so much, but don't get discouraged! I heard from the casting team that emails will still be going out in waves over the next several weeks. I was shocked we got emails this early to begin with, so don't be nervous yet!
  11. So emails started going out super early this year. My boyfriend got his this past Monday and I just got mine less than an hour ago.
  12. I've heard from scare actors I worked with last year who still currently work in the park that Terror Tram has been cancelled for this year. I'm super bummed, I scared over at Bates Motel last year and it was ridiculously fun. There's lots of rumors going around as to why its been scrapped for 2019, but I'm hoping they work out whatever it is so it can come back next year.
  13. Congrats on getting your golden ticket! The casting emails should start going out at the end of July or beginning of August. Not sure if they are changing that timeline at all since the auditions were much earlier this year, but that's when the emails went out previously
  14. Hi! You picked great places to go during your visit, thats for sure. 1. I honestly cannot remember if you can get early entry with the R.I.P. tour or if you set up a reservation time. Can someone else help answer this? 2. HHN Hollywood event nights are usually Thursday - Sunday with some random Wednesdays thrown in towards the end of the run. So for the dates your going, it will probably be open the 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th. I definitely recommend Thursday or Sunday, the crowds are much worse Friday and Saturday nights. 3. Not all the rides are open during HHN, only Jurassic Park (I'm hoping they'll be keeping the new Jurassic World ride open this year too since that will definitely help with crowd control), The Mummy and Transformers. From what I remember, they stay open the whole time. If you are doing R.I.P. though, I highly doubt you will be there until 2am if you go even at regular opening time. 4. Best part about R.I.P. is definitely not having to wait in the insane lines. Plus you will get to go through mazes more than once with it. Although the buffet/lounge was pretty awesome last year. Food was decent and the photo ops with the Stranger Things props was INCREDIBLE. Happy to answer any other questions about Disneyland as well if you want to message me, I have lots of tips and tricks.
  15. Man this forum is dead....anyone else nervous for auditions next week?
  16. Heard from some old HHN coworkers that Terror Tram won't be coming back this year, but 2 extra mazes will be added to make up for it. Obviously just speculation, but I ended up getting placed in TT permanently last year in Killbillies and Bates Motel was getting torn apart....that building was just not practically built for people to be running around on everything. I'm hoping they're just going to refortify it this year and bring tram back in 2020.
  17. Definitely going to be basically Dark Christmas 2. Crampus on stilts, creepy Santa's, demon elves running around, Jack Frost (my absolute favorite from Dark Christmas). This has definitely been one of my top favorite Scarezones so I'm super excited. Hopefully they'll throw in some new characters, but I'll be happy either way
  18. Guarantee they have the evil elf in the Christmas part too. God help the scareactors that get assigned that role...when I was in pool last year I had to be the elf for a night and it SUCKED. That mask is ridiculous
  19. Well guys looks like we have Stranger Things confirmed for HHN 2019
  20. I definitely think Stranger Things will be coming back (season 2) given the success of last year. I don’t think I ever saw that line go below 100 minutes. I personally loved it, it definitely wasn’t all that scary but the sets were GORGEOUS and it definitely brought a ton of people to the event. I don’t think Birdbox has the content needed for an HHN maze and I’m doubtful about Glass. I would really like Murdy to do at least one original maze this year Also crossing my fingers for an Overlord maze
  21. I think Hell Fest could potentially be an interesting maze...especially if they plant scareactors within the groups of guests going through and they get “attacked” and dragged through a doorway or something like that. I was a scareactor this past year and some of the people I worked with spoke about how they would go through a maze and a friend that scared in it would do exactly that and the guests would freak out.
  22. My family member must have gotten the information wrong then and what I saw was what you explained. If that’s the case, I apologize for any incorrect statement I’ve made, I was going off of what I (thought) I saw and what my relative who helped design the maze and characters told me
  23. Keep a close eye on the last demogorgon in the classroom. You’ll see it’s mouth open and close, albeit not as intensely as the Orlando one. But it does open and close Unless they moved that costume to another part of the maze, but on opening night it was in the classroom Look guys, I don’t know why anyone would think that I’d lie about something that’s pretty much impossible to lie about! I had a very close family member work on this maze for an extremely long time, step by step by step, so yeah I’m a little defensive about it because I want it to get the credit it deserves and for all the facts to be straight. I even confirmed with this family member about the open and closing demogorgon before I responded to Zombieman to make sure I wasn’t confusing it with Orlando’s. I don’t know if they’ve moved it or removed it completely or why you haven’t seen it, but all I know is that it was designed and created for Hollywood and was used in the maze opening night. DTH, I respect you and usually really value your opinions on this forum, so please do me the same courtesy and respect by not being rude and calling me a liar.
