  1. Huh. When I was there all the girls who were going through were super tall and bigger. Yeah I had to do a lot more this year than I did last year in the audition.
  2. I didn't make it. I didn't see any girls as small as me and I'm wondering if that had anything to do with it. I'm 5'1" and I weigh about 108 pounds. Not exactly threatening. But then again, last year I made it through. Who knows. I wish I could re-do it! I also noticed that they weren't letting nearly as many people through as last year. Out of each group (the groups were really small) they were letting about 1/5 through. At least when I was there.
  3. He sent an email about it so hopefully they respond. I really hope I get hired this year. I was looking forward to it all year....
  4. I'm going in on Saturday at 6. Last year I don't remember setting up an appointment. Are they required this year? I have mine set up but my friend wants to go. He scheduled his on Sunday but found out he has to work. Wants to switch it to Saturday with me and they're full. He got hired last year, will that help his chances of getting an appointment somehow?
  5. Trying to do this through my screwed up phone isn't working out. Thank you!
  6. Off topic, but does anyone know when HHN 2013 auditions are? I haven't been able to find the info online. I'm not sure if it's just me or if it hasn't been posted.
  7. Yup. Everytime I checked the wait times it was at least 75 minutes or more. So unfortunately my group didn't make it on, since they closed the line at 9:30. But I'll be back on Halloween!
  8. I agree 100%. It's awkward and uncomfortable when you're near them, and not only that. It's super annoying. It's just something that I don't want to see when I'm waiting in line. Can't they just wait?
  9. My boyfriend took me for my first time last year towards the beginning of the event. We ended going up a total of three times. Not because of him, but because I loved it so much. We also went to Knotts and the Queen Mary. I fell in love at first sight with these haunts. I had never done any of them before and now it's all I ever look forward to! Haha. I'll be at HHN on October 7th and Halloween this year. We're going to a few other haunts around SoCal this year and also hoping to make it to Sinister Pointe. So my boyfriend bringing me there helped me discover my love for haunts!
  10. Wow! Props to you for never giving up. And thank you! My boyfriend just received his email last night so I guess they're still sending them out, gives me a little more confidence but he's tall and big and I feel like they need that more than a tiny girl. Haha.
  11. Still no email! Now I've given up. It's okay, next year.
  12. Oh okay, I get it now. Thanks for clarifying! I just wasn't sure, have never been part of any sort of actors guild so I really don't know anything about it.
  13. So are you saying, if you get hired at HHN for your first time, you have to join agva and it's gonna cost you $750? I read something like a payment of $60.00 3 times a year(or something along those lines). I don't know what I was looking at though. Edit: I just looked at the site again and I was wrong when I said $60. What I saw was $24.00 3 times a year.
