** My drawings aren't very light, it's just the scanner doesn't "pick up all the color".

I really like those two pumpkinhead towering figures, very cool Joseph, very cool.

Thanks! They have been featured in Harvest of the Souls ('06), Fractured Tales ('08), & Horror Nights: The Hallow'd Past ('10).

Here's "The Skarecrow", an upcoming character in RHH:

*Like Pumpkin Head, Pumpkin Totems, and Pupkin Soul... Skarecrow was cropped short due to the scanner. <_<

I don't know why I haven't posted this yet... but anyways, here it is.

I've been thinking about the "Pumpkin Soul" costume. I already have the mask, and I will buy some foam pumpkins... but how would I do the body?

I guess I could get rope and paint it green/brown for the vines. I don't know. What do y'all think I should use?

Well, you could use flexible piping to support the fabric, sort of as the skeleton of the structure. Use basic cotton fabrics dyed to your liking and colour scheme for clothes. Using a hot glue gun, you could use it like an arc-welder and just glue heavily at stress points, and have glue running on the flexible piping just to keep shape.

Flexible piping... that's actually a really good idea!

Thanks!

^ *Note: I didn't draw this, I just colored it in.

*For some reason, Flickr cropped off some of the edges too much.

Oh, do you have the original of that one bigger? where did you find this one? i like it

I think your drawings are really great, they look awesome,

Thanks Juan.

I found the picture on Dr. Raymond Holmes' "Fans of Universal Art & Design" Facebook page.

*By the way, I didn't draw the pumpkin totems, I just colored it it. Don't want to plageris. :P
