true but why would murdy wanna pass up on having kong with the terror tram??

Economically, it wouldn't make sense. Why not get more money by having to pay separate park admission for Kong and pay extra admission for HHN? Besides, I don't know if I really like the idea of Kong being on the TT; to me he just doesn't fit in with the event.

i think everyone is not understanding murdy correctly. i think he means during the day hours people can see the kong attraction. and at night take the terror tram to the wow sets.

i don't think it will be all in one because it would take way too much time to go all the way to the kong attraction and back to the wow sets. unless the event will start earlier this year. around 6 or 6:30pm. which would be good for alot of people.

Well it wouldn't make too much difference since we're only getting an added maze and a longer TT; therefore to increase the hours means more downtime. Besides, they let us in around 6:30 anyway; at least that's the way it was when I went last year.

hmmmmm

and im guess times are gonna be as they usually are

see what im still getting at and it bugs me to this very second is

that is the THEME for this year

i know hollywoods theme in general is Movies thats whats its always been

but what is our trademark theme this year

like for example:

06' Directors cut - Director

07' Carnival of Carnage mock-up - Jack + Big 3

08' Live your Worst Nightmare - Freddy

09' You'll Wish it Were Just a Movie - Saw

10' - ummm?....

we've yet to have been givin any info on our ICON or our leading maze which is being kept underwraps

yet around this time last year we already had 2 of the 4 mazes down which were SAW and Chucky

well i don't think anyone knows the theme for this year yet. Besides be patient and enjoy what will happen in 3-4 months. I think them topics posted on google that i mentioned before are accurate on the days. but as far as the theme goes no one knows.

About HOH, it has a psycho, mummy, chucky, wolfman, frankenstein, ect. (the classics and what I like to call them "semi-classics"). So as we've seen HOH is usually... bad. So I don't understand why they don't just theme it towards the classics and semi-classics. I know it would basically be the same as the year-round HOH, but it just makes more sense. Take Chucky: the Chucky theme worked great in the good guys factory, but nowhere else, because Wolfman's Forest is for the Wolfman, not Chucky. So just make it more intense and add a little more actors. Besides, with the money they save not trying to theme HOH to a certain theme could go towards the real mazes. Just take USO's Silver Screams logo and make it Silver Screams for USH, mabye minus Julian.

*I don't know much about horror nights hollywood, so my ideas might not be that great*

the hoh theme last year was kinda weak and lame. when nearly none of the actors provided any good scares hence half the cast of that attraction were all women. and yes everything in the confines of that attraction are strictly based off of classic movie monsters. all in all i don't really think squeezing modern day movies like chucky throughout the house of horrors really promising. now maybe frankenstein, of the many faces of dracula would be better off in there for the october event.

Press Release is due out by next week

usually before official Press Release we have almost half of the info in our grasp

and this has been for the past two years haha

but im trying to be patient we pretty much know alot as it is

5 mazes 6 Scarezones Terror Tram with possible Kong(building) just HHN themed

im just wondering what they are thinking of next

We KNOW Wolfman is gonna be incorperated most likely with the HOH

and we have had speculation that Psycho will be playing a part due to the 50th and the Twitter hints

plus we know were having an original idea created as a maze

so already we have 3 down and 2 more to go

im just wondering what they could be..........Icon House?

well i highly doubt there gonna squeeze things in the kong attraction. due to safety reasons. ya im also curious on where the extra maze is gonna be put at.

and yes from people searching the web day and night and bugging murdy on the same topic day in and day out. im sure everyone will find out soon.

i just hope there isn't a scream maze, or something lame. I give that man credit for creating the event but seeing him beofore showtime everynight and trying to give the man ideas on how to improve isn't too easy.

Gibson Lawn will be the home to the 5th maze

just close to where Slaughterworld is held

and technically there is no real safety reasons to use kong, yes there is the typical idiot who would hop off the tram and try to sneak away

but at the same time they always guide the tram in a certain direction when leading people up

i speuclate that the KONG EXPERIENCE, not the building on its own, will be SEPERATE from the event

the building in itself can project images on the wall that can be used to HHN at its fullest extent

well the only 3 that comes to mind for an outdoor maze are wolfman, texas chainsaw massacre, or friday the 13th.

not entirely

the outside maze can be turned to almost anything

it depends on how good they create it which from what we've seen with universal is outstanding

it doesnt HAVE to be Wolfman TCM or Friday it could be a variety of things

Well after seeing all the scream movies. trust me i know you guys want more fear then what that movie had. I'm puzzled on this extra maze location.

I would LOOOOVE to have this guy chase after me next year with the strobe lights pumping:

Ghostface_800.jpg

But again only next year. ;)

I think that idea is awesome and either next year or the year after it would most likely happen because Wes Craven is directing scream 4 and he is ONE of my favorite directors so, ya

We just better hope it doesn't bomb because you realize if it does, it's possible we may never see a Scream maze at HHN... ever.

keep that as a KEY thought to some movies that dont have potential to become mazes! :D

if a movie does good in the box office and to the GP

then it could possibly be maze quality

but you also gotta remember how good the story line is because that plays a big roll in it too :)

like for example on the orlando side

back in 07' when they did Dead Silence

it didnt score too well but it turned out to be a very bad ass maze :D

(thank god im on its cheering me up well right now)

Possbility because MVB bombed that was a maze, wolfman bombed it most likely is going to have a maze OR HOH, so even if it bombs it is still likely to have a maze because well, come on, who doesn't know ghostface or "scream" as most call him?

well my predictions for this year.

1: HOH - Left alone. due to the improvements i don't there's much murdy can do with that. like i mentioned before that attraction is strictly for classic movie based monsters. And it does fairly well for a year round attraction. Thats also the most versatile maze on the property of universal that can control, lighting, smell, and sounds,.

and squeezing modern day based movie based theme's in that attraction isn't really a good idea.

Real reason why they don't go all out for year round is due to the guest and health concerns of the guest.

2: maybe another new line cinema attraction based off of either nightmare on elm street ot F13th.

3: Wolfman

4: maybe the hills have eyes:

5: yes some of you might be right bout the scream maze.

also murdy wants to create an event that makes people say wow and keep there fascination for the entire time that there at the park and the event.

I remember back in 2008 while performing as leatherface in the TCM maze. The event for the whole month every night was totally sold out.

heck i tried to get tickets for my friends and relatives and me as an employee was told it was sold out before noon.

I think that just goes to show you. that them 3 characters have a huge fan base, respect and the event had an even bigger turn out then expected.

and thats what Murdy is actually aiming for when he thinks of everything. an event people that will have people extremely anxiously awaiting for it to start and keep coming back to have a good time.

I think it didn't happen last year. alot of people stoped showing up around 11 or 12 midnite on some nights. while others didn't seem to be afraid at all.

another extremely good thing is I hope Murdy doesn't circle the event around 1 thing like last year. All that just to hype up the saw movie.

and another good key to good scares is darkness within the attractions. the darker the better along with loud music.
