Ideas for Houses (Get Ready to Hate Me)

Halloween III has been on my mind, I have no certain order but I can definitely see these parts happening in the house:

  • The Junkyard location and seeing the tv in the building playing Shamrock Commercial
  • Junkyard Jumpscares by the victim and the henchman
  • Hospital scene with the dead man in the hospital bed and jumpscare through one of the curtains by a henchman
  • Find ourselves in Marge Guttman's apartment room in the bed or maybe out of it (Giving it the Poltergeist house treatment) of her peeling her face with bugs coming out of it from being hit by the beam from the mask.
  • Somewhere in the house they must probably have three silver shamrock kids popping out at certain points ("TRICK OR TREAT! TRICK OR TREAT!")
  • Dan hiding from the androids in the factory and find ourselves in the middle of a few jumpscares
  • Kupfer family's fate in the room with the snakes and bugs while the commercial plays on the tv
  • Hearing Cochran's tale dialogue and then finally Cochran jumps out from one side saying "Hope you enjoy the Horror-thon Doctor") as Dan is on the other strapped to the chair with the skeleton shamrock mask on and seeing the tv (Possibly playing the same Halloween scene)
  • Find ourselves trying to escape from the androids as we see them toying with the stonehenge prop before us and immediately see it vaporize them all and turning Cochran to stone (Maybe have a scareactor pop up every once in awhile after staying still)
  • Ellie and Dan both pop out to scare us on both sides
  • We hear the Shamrock tune playing louder and louder and find ourselves in the same room with Dan as his trying to yelling and pleading for the station to turn off the commercial, the commercial on our right side on the tv and Dan on our left, as he jumps towards saying for the last time STOP  IT! we exit out of the house with the ending credit but not without one last jump scare from an android.

John Carpenter's Prince Of Darkness

  • We found ourselves in the basement of the church and see the cylinder containing the swirling green liquid with crosses and technology surrounding it and possibly get sprayed just like Susan who we see possibly jump scaring us in the next room and possessed.
  • We begin to experience all of the different members in the group being possessed
  • Find ourselves in the alleyway with the possessed homeless readying to attack and jumpscared by the leader
  • We hearing bugs hissing and see Frank comes toward a dark lit room and saying "HELLO, HELLO, I'VE GOT A MESSAGE FOR YOU"
  • Followed by another jumpscare from Frank saying 'PRAY FOR DEATH!"
  • We hear the transmissions of the future "This is coming from year 1999" as we enter the next room and see Kelly laying in the hammock in the room changing and breathing heavy and get jump scared by both Susan and Lisa while we see Walter shouting for help.
  • We enter the next room and are jumped by a few possessed as we find our selves in the mirror room where Kelly is reaching towards it and Satan's hand is reaching through only for Katherine running in towards Kelly The Priest act is if throwing the axe at the mirror
  • We begin to hear the main title music again as we make our exit only for one last jumpscare followed by a scream as Catherine pops out possessed from the devil

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2

  • Facade Radio Station
  • We hear Stretch talking about the tape and about Lefty and hear the tape of the accident
  • Downstairs of the radio station where we see Choptop pop out in his psychedelic wear with some dialogue hitting LG with the hammer and Leatherface pops out of the record room with his chainsaw towards the guests
  • We are then in the room with Stretch as she tries to lock the sliding door as it's violent shaking and then stops as Leatherface pops through the wall and chainsaws the ice squirting water at guests
  • Find ourselves underground in the Sawyer's hideout where we see Drayton, Grandpa, Leatherface and Choptop pop out of different spots
  • Pass by LG's body as he jump scares and followed by Stretch popping pleading for help out of nowhere wearing his face
  • We then see Grandpa Sawyer trying to hit Stretch with the hammer and continuously missing with the family cheering him on and Lefty jumps scares with the chainsaw
  • We find ourselves in the middle of Leatherface and Lefty's fight with chainsaws
  • Drayton pops out with Nubbins and pulls the grenade as we hear an explosion and smoke getting out the room
  • As we find ourselves seeing Stretch and Choptop fighting to which Choptop tries to reach out at us one last time and Stretch cutting him up with the chainsaw meanwhile seeing Grandma dead in her throne
  • We then see Stretch maniacally dancing around covered in blood with saw as we head for the exit only for one last chainsaw scare from Leatherface

The Funhouse

  • We hear the main title theme
  • Find ourselves in Amy's room exactly how it looks like in the room and we are jumpscared by her brother in a costume and fake knife
  • We then find ourselves heading into the carnival hearing the carousel and barkers and tents
  • We are walking towards the fun house as the barker looks at us and beckoning "Who will survive the funhouse?" and Gunther in the Frankenstein costume lurking around the guests
  • Find ourselves enter in and experiencing the old school props and effects as then all of a sudden they shut down
  • Trapped we then proceed as is seen Gunther strangling Madame Zena and continue on to try and escape only to be jump scared by the barker Conrad with his gun
  • We see Richie hanging above us and then later in the ride cart with an axe in his head, the barker shouts at us with his gun and continue to get away we then see him impale on the sword of a knight mannequin and Buzz on a prop's arm dead as we  Gunther is upset and begins to chase us and we find the body of Liz in the industrial fan underground.
  • In the maintenance area of the Funhouse all hell has broken loose, Amy is on one side screaming towards guests and Gunther is trapped in between the spinning gears and shrieks and screams and tries to lunge towards us and then dies we then proceed to exit to hear the animatronic fat lady's laugh followed by the main title's theme

MONSTROLOGY

"In my many years on this earth, I have encountered many monsters. Living, dead, and somewhere in-between, these creatures live secluded lives, only reaching civilization to feed. I have chronicled my experiences in this book, in the hopes that one may read it, and know how to survive a chance encounter with one of these beasts."

  -Dr. James Mortis

MONSTERS ARE AWESOME. That is all. Throughout the house, Mortis narrates parts of his adventures. Dr. Mortis, when he appears, looks like a gentleman scholar, with a bushy beard, pipe, and glasses.

Rooms:

  • Facade: Guests walk up to a giant, leatherbound book with MONSTROLOGY written in gilded letters.
  • Dr. Mortis' Chamber: Transitions are giant pages, much like Hollywood's Shining's "All Work And No Play" scene. After going through the first few pages, we see a silhoutte of Dr. Mortis penning his final draft, as he narrates part of his life story. As guests prepare to head to the next scene, James appears himself, struggling with a squid-like creature.
  • Vampire: Guests enter a crypt, filled with shaking coffins. As hands emerge from one coffin, to strangle Dr. Mortis, an Orlok-esque vampire emerges from the shadows.
  • Goblin: Guests then enter a cave, where goblins torture some surface dwellers. Mainly sticks, ropes, and rocks. Mortis will rush in, a goblin riding piggyback and pulling on his face.
  • Golem: Guests then enter a village, at night, where no one is on the streets. A giant clay man will attack guests.
  • Ghost: Guests then enter a castle courtyard, a full moon providing the lighting. Several of the plants move without wind, voices warn guests to get out, and spectral hands reach from the walls. A specter will appear from a wall, brandishing a sword, and the humanoid statue in the fountain will lunge towards the line.
  • Troll: Guests then walk onto a bridge, where Mortis bargains with a troll that is eating one of his horses. From under the bridge, a large-handed troll will jump up and grab at guests.
  • Gargoyle: In the pews of a church, Mortis sleeps. The sound of rain and thunder can be heard, and the stain-glass windows light up with lightning. Suddenly, two gargoyles fly through two opposite windows.
  • Zombie: In some sort of dark mine, zombie men toil away. Under their master's command, they cannot think of doing anything else. Dr. Mortis watches from a rock, taking notes.
  • Minotaur: Guests then enter a stone labrynth. The bull man will rush guests, but Mortis, holding onto some rope used to keep from getting lost and carrying a revolver, fires at him, keeping him at bay. Mortis will usher guests through to the next room.
  • Mermaid: On a ship, guests and crew alike are attacked by mermaids who are more beast than human. One is seen taking a particularly large bite out of Dr. Mortis.
  • Werewolf: In a deep forest, Mortis and a guide are on the hunt for a lycanthrope. They shoot at a beast, only for one to drag the guide away, unseen. As guests approach the transition, the werewolf attacks them.
  • Death: Guests return to Dr. Mortis' study, where Mortis, now an old man, ponders the end of his journey. When the candlelights go out, a tall, robed figure carrying a scythe emerges from his desk and sweeps at guests.
  • Exit: As guests exit, Dr. Mortis stands at a grave, pondering his life, and considering it well-lived. Upon closer inspection, Mortis is a ghost, and he's atop his own grave.

  • POW! Right in the Nostalgia: Taking a page from the most recent Halloween special, while presenting an alternate ending, guest go through a hall of mirrors, with a clearing showing the cursed mirror. Normal!Charlotte is trapped inside, begging for release. While guests are distracted, Mirror!Charlotte, in her Demon form, will attack guests from behind.

Also this wound up happening in the comic last year.

DRUIDS AND DEMONS: THE SWAMPLANDS

Prepare for another Druids and Demons journey! Tonight, our heroes have to brave The Swamplands, a ragged wetland filled with vile, wretched beings, to get to Fort Noctus, where they will provide relief from a recent disaster. But it's not all fun and games - as always, danger lurks around every corner! Hope you have another character ready...

Admittedly, my Druids and Demons house inspiration has shifted from D&D to Pathfinder. I mean, look at PF's Monsters! Bloodybones! Calacas! Krampus! Chupacabra! You can have a goblin gunslinger team up with an orc samurai, a kitsune investigator, and a changeling skald to investigate The Skinsaw Murders! And... I admit that the Swamps came from my PF Research. Because what lives in the Swamps in Pathfinder? Hideous, inbred ogres. (And if you want, you can play a Leatherface Ogre - complete with Chainsaw! - with a slasher archetype in the Slayer class (Bloody Jake), technology (the aforementioned chainsaw), and mask (it's a magical item).)

ROOMS:

  • Facade: Lining the path is a large tabletop map setup, with figurines standing for the party, some NPCs, and the monsters. (One will be an actor, and attack guests.) The entrance is a large DM's screen, with Mitch Wooster above it (an actor who interacts with guests, hyping everything in-character as a loremaster).
  • Enter the Swamps: Lit by moonlight, guests enter a swamp. A sign warns guests to "TURN BAK NOU", written in crude bloody writing, and guarded by a scarecrow made out of an elf.
  • Ogre Territory: Further in the swamp, is a trio of ogres huddled around a dead horse, picking it apart and eating it. One will threaten guests.
  • Leatherworks: Guests enter a section of trees, where the branches are covered with flayed corpses and hides. An ogre lady has split open a still-living dwarf, and is removing his guts. Across from her, a masked ogre attacks with a giant hook.
  • RUN: Guests then find a ranger, armed with a crossbow, who pressures guests to make haste and get to safety. She then takes aim, and fires at a charging ogre. He still appears, bolt stuck through his eye, and attacks guests with a giant cleaver. The ranger shoots again, driving him off.
  • Trophies: Guests then go through two rows of spikes, displaying severed heads of freshness ranging from Still Moving to Rotten Skull. An ogre attacks through the spikes using a hook on a pole.
  • Fort Noctus Facade: Guests are then led through the entrance of Fort Noctus.
  • Training Grounds: Various corpses are laid in the training grounds, both of the soldiers who protected the fort and of the Ogre invaders. A tiefling with a blunderbuss attacks guests.
  • Demonic Force: As guests walk down the fortress, a soldier begs for help, unaware that a demon is walking up behind him. When the demon reaches him, the infernal creature plunges his hand through his victim's chest, ripping out his heart. (Taken from a scene from YETI: Terror of the Yukon.)
  • Barracks: As guests enter the barracks, they spot a man, his eyeballs ripped out but one still dangling, wandering aimlessly, madly babbling about how he didn't mean to do this and it's all his fault. His forehead is marked with an unholy symbol. A demon rips his way through the wall.
  • Cafeteria: In the mess hall, various corpses are strewn about, all with giant chunks ripped out of them. A couple of demons feast on their still-living prey, using giant, toothy maws to chomp down.
  • Powerless: Exiting the mess hall, guests find a cleric dangling from a noose of thorned vines and a paladin impaled on a brimstone spike. The cleric struggles to breathe, and the paladin occasionally lurches alive and deleriously asks for help. A demon mocks the cleric.
  • Finale: In the Captain's Office, a giant, towering demon in a robe mocks guests and launches a fireball at them (The Stranger Things Flamethrower Effect, with the light and smoke pipes hidden in the scaracter's sleeves). He goes on about how he's going to take over the world, and that nothing can stop him. The captain will rush in with an axe, only to be challenged by a demonic trooper.

UNCLE KRANKY'S FUNHOUSE

In life, Karl Raynkler was a sincerely good clown. Under the name Uncle Karl, he entertained at birthday parties, charity events, and business openings in his small town of Carey, Ohio. Sadly, his life was cut short when a group of teenage thugs beat him to death outside his own house. His last hours were spent in agony.

You never admitted it, but you were one of those teens. Today, you head back to Raynkler's house, because they're investigating it and you may have left incriminating evidence. But something seems... off. Like... something's there. Something that should have left decades ago. Something... angry. Angry at you, in particular.

Welcome to Uncle Kranky's Funhouse.

~~~
CLOWNS! I never liked them until recently, and for reasons I will not elaborate on I cannot use them in my Halloween stuff. But I still have a fascination with Halloween, and Clowns are... Halloweenish nowadays. Anyways, On a whim, I've been listening to the instrumental of Breakfast in America, which sounds like an evil clown song. Anyways, I'd try to work that into this house. Maybe an instrumental of House of Fun, The Logical Song, some Uncle Bobo's style Mr. Bungle (Quote Unquote, Stubb-a-Dub, and Carousel) instrumentals, maybe some Primus (Say, Farewell Wonkites, Mr. Krinkle, and Wynona's Big Brown Beaver), Happy Happy Joy Joy, oh if only I knew how to make mixes.
ROOMS:
  • Facade: Walk up to the ruins of Mr. Raynkler's house. You can still see the blood on the sidewalk, under the streetlight. (The streetlight also hides a speaker playing audio of the beating. All foley artistry and voice acting.) For split seconds, Karl's face flashes in the window. Ominous circus music can be heard.
  • WELCOME TO THE FUNHOUSE!: Once you enter the front door, the room inside is decaying and falling apart - oh, and Karl, now Uncle Kranky, is a giant head above a portal. "EAHAHAHAHA! WELCOME TO THE FUNHOUSE, YOU LYING SNAKE! I'M UNCLE KRANKY, AND YOU'RE IN FOR THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE! BWAHAHAHAHA!" He'll snarl between loops. And the head is part projection, probably onto a face-like mold above the portal. Inside the room, red and white stripes are projected onto the walls, spinning around.
  • Spinning Tunnel: Enter a Red-and-White spinning tunnel. At the end, a clown with a Rictus Grin attacks with a mallet. From this point on, BLACK LIGHT! But not 3D.
  • WELCOME TO HELL!: The portal drops guests off at a ghostly carnival of sorts. They pass under a giant clown-faced archway, into a circus tent. Hanging in the arch is a banner with WELCOME TO HELL! written on it.
  • Puppets: Inside the tents are several clown marionettes, hanging from the ceiling. Many are in the walkway, forcing guests to push through them. Off to the side, is a scaracter disguised as a clown marionette.
  • Doggies: Guests then pass a clown being mauled by two dogs in little dog clown costumes. The clown can only laugh as he's ripped apart. A puppet Clown Rottweiler will jump at guests.
  • Mirrors: The next corner is a hall of mirrors. Clown statues are inside two-way mirrors, exposed as the lights flicker with the music. One clown is a scaracter, and he will lunge at the guests.
  • Between the Clown's Legs: Guests are then forced to walk between Kranky's legs. It's easier than that sounds, the legs are a giant arch covered in Raynkey's Clown Pants' pattern, with an actor who's legs are hidden in the pants. Kranky will mock guests, and his extra-long arms will lunge out from the walls. One side has a cream pie. The other has a knife.
  • Karma: Guests then find themselves on a black lit sidewalk, attacked by a gang of clowns.
  • Carnevil Ride: Guests then step onto a piece of track. A piece of rollercoaster track, specifically. As you make your way across, a roller coaster car barrels forward from the darkness.
  • Shooting Gallery: Guests then enter a shooting gallery. From the no-man's zone. Three clowns, armed with bb-shooting tommyguns (that fire air), hoot, holler, and insult guests. Meanwhile, on the other side, balloons "pop", while multi-colored strobes flicker.
  • Four Horsies: Guests then pass a carousel with four horses, ridden by four clowns, each to go with a horseman of the apocalypse. Famine is a fat, L4D-style Boomer-ish clown with gobs of cotton candy and popcorn. Pestilence is extremely thin, and throws up to the side. Death wears all black, and carries a balloon scythe that he swings at guests. War is a medieval jester who carries a brightly-colored mace that he also swings at guests.
  • Prize Corner: Guests then pass through an assortment of stuffed animals. A few human-sized teddybears, but what really get guests is the actor covered in regular-sized plushies, who pops out of the wall.
  • GUILTY AS CHARGED!: Guests pass by a judge's podium, manned by none other than Kranky himself. He damns guests to Hell for their sins. Guests then walk through a giant "flame", to...
  • FINALE: Big Bobby: A giant clown's gaping maw. Think the Underworld Clown from this year's Halloween Decoration Expo, the giant, black-and-green clown with arms long enough to walk through. You're heading straight for this thing's razor-filled maw. His giant, clawed hands swing at guests. Once in his mouth, Uncle Kranky attacks one last time.
SATURDAY MORNING CARNAGE
Few things bring to mind the freedom of the weekend like wearing your PJs, fixing a bowl of cereal, and sitting down in front of the TV for a morning of cartoons. But nothing's sacred, is it? Trying to relive some nostalgia with streaming services, your TV kinda blew a fuse... and the rest of the room with it. Remember wishing that you'd be able to enter the worlds of your favorite cartoons? Yeah, about that...
Inspired by Knott's Terrorvision, Saturday Morning Carnage is a take on classic cartoons of yesteryear with a twisted, sadistic turn. But let's be real here. We've got cartoons with mutagenic oozes, world-threatening terrorists, geniuses with a chip on their shoulder taking it out on their fellow man, giant alien robots, and little blue gnomes. Scary stuff. Anyways, the maze would be blacklight, possibly 3D, with a medley of the various theme songs playing. Possibly with more whimsy than the Terrorvision medley.
ROOMS:
  • Facade: Guests enter through the broken front of a TV, with static playing. (Yeah real original, Doc)
  • Mountain Lair (He-Man): A purple-tinted layer. A blue man with a skeletal face stands above a barbarian with a sword impaled through his chest, ranting and raving about his ultimate victory. A giant beast of a man will lunge out at guests.
  • Large Woods (Winnie the Pooh): A large, green wooded area. The carcasses of a piglet, kangaroo, donkey, and rabbit are strewn about, and a young boy hides from a giant yellow bear. From a tree, a tiger attacks.
  • Battlefield (G.I. Joe): A dusty desert covered in a layer of fog. Various eclectic warriors are fighting, shouting orders, and often firing their weapons into the walk line. A white ninja, a man with a metallic face, and a man in blue armor AND a faceless, chrome mask attack guests.
  • NY Street (The Real Ghostbusters): A streetlamp-lit street. A cartoonish red ghost attacks from the road, and a green blob jumps out of the window. Two guys in brightly-colored jumpsuits will attack the ghosts.
  • Backstage (JEM): A brightly-lit, neon backstage for an upcoming concert - except the pink-haired singer is dead, from bludgeoning. A yellow-green haired rival will jump out at guests, threatening to beat them with a guitar.
  • Kaiju Fight (Power Rangers): A miniature city set with a walkway made from carnage. A giant mecha and an evil sorceress hide in the carnage.
  • Warlock's Shack (The Smurfs): A dark, medieval wizard's hut, swarming with little blue gnomish-creatures. Some of the creatures have caught and killed a cat, with one of them popping out of the carcass with a splash. The wizard will rush out, coated with the gnomes. All the while, they sing their song of madness.
  • Race Track (Speed Racer): The track between the stands on a race track. A stylized race car has crashed into the wall, its racer stumbling about deliriously, bruised and bloodied, still holding onto the wheel. As guests go around the car, into the next scene, they encounter a TRUNK MONKEY with a wrench, and a black race car with buzz saws on the front rushes forward.
  • Mad Scientist's Lair (TAoSonic The Hedgehog): A cartoonishly lit scene, one of the first things guests notice is a blue splat on the wall. A raspy-voiced, obese mustachioed man in a red coat rants and threatens guests. From a boo-hole, a giant, humanoid Rooster Robot attacks.
  • Sewers (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles): A sewer hangout littered in... well, there's pizza, pizza boxes, skateboards, weapons, magazines of varying topics, some loose machinery, rat fur, green gunk's all over the place. Warped voices shout slang, and four grotesquely mutated turtles jump out at guests, one IN a pool of the gunk. A reporter with a camera ushers guests into the next scene.
  • Happy Meadow (Strawberry Shortcake/My Little Pony): A fruit-scented field of flowers. Fruit-scented goblin girls are huddled over a pastel-colored horse, eating its entrails. The Strawberry goblin will attack guests.
  • Arena (Pokemon): A grassy field surrounded by stands. A boy is electrocuted by his thunder rodent, and a human-sized dragon breathes a jet of fire at guests. (Again, Stranger Things flamethrower effect.) In the ground, are three impact silhouettes of a man, a woman, and their bipedal feline.
  • The Van (Scooby-Doo): A dark area, with purple ground surrounded by a black void, filled with glaring cartoon eyes. Three teenagers have been slaughtered, with the fourth and his dog on top of the van, begging for help. Three men in costume (a ghost, a clown, and a werewolf) will attack, one with a chainsaw.
  • FINALE: Alien Warzone (Transformers): A barren, rocky warzone where lazers can be heard firing. Guests pass by the giant scraps of what was once a robot/18-wheeler. As they leave the maze, a GIANT puppet of an evil robot overlord looms forward, reaching out at them.
Lemon Demon Presents: SPIRIT PHONE
(I apologize I don't know how to hype this up.)
Instead of taking the time to add every track to Monster Music, I'm just going to dedicate a house to Lemon Demon's Spirit Phone. Which is appropriate, considering the album is inspired by CreepyPastas, urban legends, existential crises, and other horror mediums.
ROOMS:
  • Facade: Guests walk into the house under a replica of the album cover, with Neil holding his cat. Every so often, like on the artwork, Neil and the cat's left eyes light up, followed by a third light behind them. Various Lemon Demon songs play.
  • Lifetime Achievement Award: Guests enter a basement-turned-laboratory, where body parts are in various containers, and a corpse lies on a table, aware, looking around, but unable to quite move his stitched-up body. The scientist, a Cicierega-ish man, will attack with a hacksaw.
  • Touch-Tone Telephone: Guests then enter a room that is cluttered with junk, conspiracy paraphernalia, corded telephones, yeah. A conspiracy theorist paces back and forth, rambling (lipsynching). Occasionally, he'll attack guests.
  • Cabinet Man: Guests enter a 90's arcade, where maddened children hide between the cabinets. At the end of the room is the Cabinet Man, an arcade machine whose front panel is opened, revealing a visceral maw that is trying to devour a maintenance man. The victim struggles, but cannot escape the machine.
  • No-Eyed Girl: Turning a corner, guests see the silhouette of a man being reduced to dust. As they venture further, they see, illuminated in a halo of light, a woman with no eyes. From the other side of the room, visceral eyeless men attack.
  • When He Died: Guests then enter the mansion of the guy who died. The song goes into detail about all the crap that goes on, the corpse is charred, mangled, decapitated, covered in crawling scorpions, there's skulls everywhere, statues are crying blood... a detective bleeding from the eyes stumbles upon guests, before vomiting. In the next room, guests are in the charred remains of a shed, where the only surviving item is a creepy painting of a clown. At times, the clown disappears, and appears in front of guests, clawing at them, with piercing red eyes.
  • Sweet Bod: In an apothecary, various mellified men are strewn out, and a Neil Cicierega-ish pharmacist is hawking products made from them between verses. One of the candied cadavers is an actor, and will lunge at guests.
  • Eighth Wonder: Guests enter a barn, scattered with pillars of salt that have an uncanny resemblance to agonized people. You can't see it, but a small creature dashes about, making noise, rattling chains, and running against people's legs. (The leg thing is achieved with air. I know this is effective because I once mistook the blast from a fan at a restaurant for a small dog, and was disappointed when it wasn't.)
  • Ancient Aliens: In a cave, covered with paintings, a caveman panics and attacks guests. Outside the cave, guests are approached by a group of extraterrestrial beings that are simply more curious than anything. Another caveman will attack.
  • Soft Fuzzy Man: In a dark cave (again), guests find various skeletons of women, their possessions strewn about. A shadowy figure will attack guests. Guests then enter a fog, where the figure attacks again, but with visibly inhuman facial figures.
  • As Your Father I Expressly Forbid It: A suburban kitchen, where the mother toils away at a stove making macaroni, and an old man's corpse sits at the table. A silhouette of a man berating his child is visible in the hall, and when the shadow goes in to attack, the father lunges towards guests with a belt.
  • I Earn My Life: In an office, a salaryman paces from his cubicle to the water cooler to his dead boss. The man has a manic look on his face and is covered in blood, and the boss is not his only visible victim - just the only one in full view. The man, using a letter opener, threatens guests and makes sure his boss is dead.
  • Reaganomics: One wall of the room is taken up by a giant screen, showing a news report on economic turmoil. From the ceiling hang various corpses of businessmen. A man in a Reagan mask will rush guests.
  • Man-Made Object: Then guests step into a construction site, kinda like the higher floors of Nakatomi Plaza but WAY higher - you can see the city below it. A construction worker falls off, and the guy who is funding the building sits in a corner, covering the entire wall with runes made of blood and threatening guests.
  • Spiral Of Ants: As the last track on the album, guests find themselves surrounded by ant people wearing suits. And there's a lot - the walls are mirrors, to give the illusion of there being even more. Many of the ants are bopping their heads to the music, with some attacking. As guests exit the maze, a giant ant queen attacks. (Puppet)
BATMAN: DARK KNIGHTS
Batman knew something was up, and his research has been conclusive. The problem? Said research has ended in a portal opening up, leading to numerous dystopias where The Dark Knight has gone mad, each in their own twisted way - and each of these Dark Knights want to take over OUR world. Can these Batmen be stopped, or will our world fall?
Confession time! I never had physical comics as a kid, so the medium is hard to break into for me. Considering that comics are the place where most of the Dark Knights shine, I'm going by TV Tropes to fill this list out.
And on the topic of confessions, Mazethinker, I was the guy who said that I wasn't a doctor on Reddit. I thought it'd be funny but then I realized it might have been astroturfing, and that's not cool.
Anyways, ROOMS:
  • Facade: Arkham Asylum.
  • The Court of Owls: In a secret room in the asylum, guests witness members of the Court of Owls surround a writhing Batman, who is serving as a portal to the Dark Multiverse. The shadow of Barbatos can be seen on the wall, and the leader of the court attacks.
  • Portal: A revolving tunnel. Deranged laughter can be heard, while purple and green streak the walls.
  • -52: Guests enter The Red Death's Gotham. They witness Red Death aging a victim (dummies and projection), get ambushed by several Batmobiles, and have Red Death lunge at them across the rooms.
  • -44: In Murder Machine's Arkham, holographic clones of Alfred murder the inmates, some attacking guests. Guests then enter the Batcave, where Bruce Wayne is forcibly assimilated into Murder Machine. As guests leave -44, the Murder Machine attacks, with either an air-shooting gun arm, or a buzzsaw arm.
  • -12: The Merciless watches over the ruins of Arkham, patrolled by undead Amazons. A giant Merciless puppet will attack guests before they enter...
  • -11: The Drowned's Waters. Like the Creature from the Black Lagoon at Universal Monsters, the room is styled to be underwater. The Drowned's Thralls will attack, and Bryce herself will "Swim" at guests with a trident.
  • -1: Guests see the ruins of Metropolis, and are attacked by a giant Devastator puppet.
  • -32: Lit only by a green strobe, horrible, horrible things attack on the command of The Dawnbreaker.
  • The Grim Knight: A Batman with guns attacks.
  • -22: Entering the smoldering ruins of Gotham, where Rabid Robins are scuttling about, clawing at guests. Turning a corner, guests see The Batman who Laughs, tearing apart a victim. Around the next corner, TBWL will strike.
  • Finale: Barbatos, swipes at guests. The Batman hides in the room. At the final room, The Batman Who Laughs fights The Joker.
SPIRIT HALLOWEEN: Tricks and Threats
If you're not ready for Halloween, you should probably head down to the Spirit down the block. They've got all sorts of things, costumes, props, decorations, the like. Unlike most Spirits, however, the local store carries a curse. It's connected to a realm where all the decorations are really monsters, and mortal souls are considered valuable. Step into the Spirit after hours and see for yourself, however...
Watch out for Jack.
This might actually violate some kind of marketing law or something, I don't know and I don't care. Many animatronics are replaced by actors, and some may be in the wrong theme simply because I feel like they'd make a nice fit.
ROOMS:
  • Facade: Poppy Halloween music plays as guests queue up for a Spirit set up in an abandoned electronics store. For the most part, the Spirit is made to resemble a condensed version of an actual store from the year the house is used - the posters in the windows, the merchandise on the shelves, the themed displays are all accounted for. On the banner above the entrance, Jack The Reaper's eyes can be seen moving.
  • The Store: It *looks* like a Spirit with less licenses (mainly Disney licenses, things like Pennywise and Sam can stick around), less lights and such. Guests walk through the front display, with animatronics triggering at random times. Above the line, a giant cutout puppet of Jack The Reaper taunts guests. Guests exit through a model of the back display, with an actor portraying an animatronic or scare from that year's display. For example, last year, guests would have gone through the aquarium and a giant animatronic shark would ram the window. This year, the back display would be modified to a walk-through display, and an actor playing the Harvester of Souls would scare guests.
  • Haunted Cabin: Guests enter a decrepit cabin in the woods. The Midnight Countess recites her lines, distracting guests from the Executioner tearing his way through the door. As guests exit through the front door, the Hovering Ghost attacks.
  • Terror Mill: Guests pass Punctured Pete, struggling to remove the beam that ended his life, as they enter the lumber mill. A Head-Banging Zombie drops from the ceiling, and the Rosemary Zombie Girl can be seen eating a brain. Suddenly, she notices the line, and attacks.
  • Clown Train: Saturated by UV light, guests pass by a vividly-colored train crash. From the wreckage, Whacky Mole, Thrashing Clown, and Silent and Deadly will attack.
  • Cirque Du Spirit: Uncle Charlie ushers guests into the big top, a maze of (gasp) clowns. Hugz, Bite-Size Clown, and the Darkside Jester attack, and Crouchy can be seen... crouching. Except he's a puppet that will lunge at guests. The Bone Collector, Caged Beast, and Haunted Magic Mirror are also hidden in the scene.
  • (edit) Area 31: Guests enter an archway into a top-secret government facility. Fenced-In Hi-Voltage Zombie can be seen pressing against an electric fence, before swinging it open and lunging at guests. Guests then find a room full of alien capsules, lit by a pulsing green light. The alien version of the Toe-Tagged Corpse hides between two capsules, and lunges at guests. As guests leave, the Hazmat Zombie will lurch towards guests.
  • (edit) Vampire Cemetery: The Gatekeeper watches as guests come in. From behind the tombstones, creatures attack, such as the Lurching Vampire, John Doe, and Grave Digger. Before entering the next scene, Mourning Gory can be seen mourning, before lunging at guests.
  • The Ruins: Uncertain Death greets guests as they enter a ruined castle. Pumpkin Nestor sits on a swing, bantering with guests, distracting them from a Jack-O-Lunger. A Pop-Up werewolf will attack, and Li'l Nestor will chase guests into the next room.
  • Spirit Hollow: The Forest Demon threatens guests as they enter a wooded area. From the treetops, the Hanging Hell fiend drops, and from the ground, Limb Ripper strikes. The Towering Clown will swipe at guests as they enter...
  • Spirit Acre Farms: LOTS of scarecrows and spiders. Nightmare Harvester threatens guests as they walk past, Burlap Horror is seen butchering a corpse, and the Sitting Scarecrow will lunge at guests. The Pumpkin Patch Prowler will chase guests into the farmhouse.
  • Dead Harvest: Menacing Molly sits on the front porch, twisting to threaten guests. In the farmhouse, Lost Her Way tries to navigate the rooms, despite being headless. (edit) As she fumbles about, Lunging Lily attacks from the opposite side of the room. At a stairwell, things seem normal... before the Broken Spine Girl drops from the ceiling.
  • (edit) The Attic: Various old items are strewn about in the attic. Amongst them are the various toys, set to go off at various times - Monkey Chimes, Deady Teddy, Sawin' Wood Doll, and Deady Bear. The Creepy Rising Doll lunges at guests from a corner. A coat rack turns into a monster and grabs at guests, and a little girl playing in the attic reveals herself as Peek-A-Boo Penny, who chases guests into the next scene.
  • Reaper's Wharf: As the scent changes from dust to saltwater, guests are greeted by Headless Help. Experimental Eddie will break his way down through a shop door, and Waving Wally can be seen abducting a victim.
  • S.S. Rip Tide: On the pier, guests board the S.S. Rip Tide. On the deck, a dragon roars and Jack's shadow can be seen in the wheelhouse. In the ship, guests are attacked by Jack Straw and Rusty. As guests exit the ship, The Collector approaches, telling them that they're worthless except as meat for his demons.
  • Reaper's Island Village: On a skull-covered island, guests find themselves stalked by the Hauntress. Turning a corner, they find a corpse barbecued by The Butcher, who attacks with his cleaver. Uncle Charlie will appear again, this time attacking with a skull speared on a stake.
  • Jack's Cave: As guests enter the cave, Mommy's Favorite and Angeline attack. Nightcrawler crawls from around the corner, chasing guests on all fours, and the Harvester of Souls claims another victim.
  • Finale: Guests find themselves in a twisted graveyard. As they try to navigate their way out, they are attacked by a number of animatronics - Harbinger of Hell, Night Digger, Grave Busting Skull, Smoldering Zombie, Limb-Eating Zombie Boy, and Barnyard Butcher attack at various points. As guests exit the maze, a blast of fog hits. When the fog settles, Jack the Reaper attacks with a scythe.
If there were any I would've included, it would've been
Peek-a-Boo Penny
The Deadly Bear (or Deadly Teddy and Peek-A-Boo Bear)
Lunging Lily
those lunging spiders
the Creepy Rising Doll
Twitching Banshee
Coat Rack Monster
Mourning Glory
and the Broken Spine Girl
The problem with making a house based off of a company that sells animatronics, is that there's so many good ones that some will inevitably be forgotten. I could probably edit in a few scenes, like The Attic, Area 31, and Vampire Cemetery.
And the Lunging Spiders would make great GATs, hidden about the house.
BOGGED DOWN: Swamp of Terror
There are rumors about odd going-ons in the trees of Brackwater Swamp. Naturally, these rumors bring in thrill-seekers, but more often than the locals are comfortable admitting do explorers of the swamp go missing. Still, when has a little danger stopped you from adventure? Get ready to explore Brackwater, but keep an eye out for anything mysterious.
Hero Forge has added color to the mix. That is all.
ROOMS:
FACADE: The entrance to the house is a shop, Grampa's Swamp Shack. Outside the shop are ads for food, supplies, and local businesses; some rocking chairs; and fairy lights. Country music plays as guests enter the shack.
Grampa's Swamp Shack is a convenience store ran by "Grampa", a friendly old man. He'll tell guests about supposed sightings in the woods, and offer maps of the swamp trail, but he's ultimately harmless and well-meaning. Newspaper clippings of strange occurrences are on the wall behind him. Guests walk down an aisle of junk food, and past an ice cream freezer, into Brackwater.
tKKvnYl.png
The ground beneath guests' feet turns soft as they step onto the grass. The music of the store has been replaced with an atmospheric soundtrack, accompanied by the sounds of frogs, mosquitos, and other swamp critters. From behind a chain link fence, a pale man with a hatchet scares guests, telling them to "get". Grampa will appear from the shop and scare him off with a shotgun blast.
8JIoAi0.png
However, Grampa can't protect you forever. As guests walk past a decrepit shack, reeking of moonshine and piss, a guard dog lunges at guests. Passing a truck on cinderblocks, the Hatchet Man will attack again.
Past the shack, the smell of rotten flesh hangs in the air. A corpse lies on the ground, rotting. The Bloodybones will rush from the trees and attack guests, protecting its quarry.
z8S5For.png
In the next part of the swamp, are a lot of lightning bugs. The scene is almost beautiful, until a hulking Treeman attacks.
Cvn9KtI.png
Guests then approach the rusted, creaking gates of a cemetery. Before they enter, the Headless Horseman attacks, carrying a big-ass sword and swinging it in one hand like it's a knife.
Ad4NV6p.png
In the graveyard, many of the gravestones are askew, many of the occupants are visible and decaying, and there's a presence. Maybe it's the moving of the stones. Maybe it's the blacklight glow. Maybe it's the shadows of people who aren't seen. However, from a mausoleum, rushes the ghost of a Highwayman, a pistol in one hand and a rapier in the other. Guests exit the graveyard.
YetatZM.png
Entering a clearing, where the full moon shines bright, guests see the carcass of a gator. From the opposite side of the line, a Werewolf attacks.
dytOOEz.png
Guests then pass a campground, where the tent is ravaged and the campers have been mauled. From the trees, a Sasquatch jumps at guests, howling and hollering.
AtJiyp3.png
Guests then find themselves beside the water, in front of the rotted remains of a pirate ship. A rustling in the trees is revealed to be a zombie pirate, who chases guests onto the ship.
XyVDyy2.png
In the ship's remains is a bearded hag, stirring a glowing green cauldron. As she recites her incantation, a large, zombified gator (puppet) attacks guests.
T1waqP6.png
Exiting the ship, guests find themselves in a swamp garden. Various flowers, weeds, and vines are growing, and many scarecrows, made of sticks arranged like skeletons and covered with rags, stand watch. One scarecrow will jump off his perch and chase guests.
Bsy1DfC.png
After that, guests find themselves on a bridge that probably should use some repairs. On a rock, a siren sings. From the other side of the bridge, another siren attacks with a blood-stained trident.
Yv7Miys.png
After crossing the bridge, guests find themselves amongst several statues. Many have sunken into the swamp, all are mossy, and one will come to life and attack with its sword.
Pbg7cmB.png
After the statue graveyard is a mass of bushes. A "Swampling" (creature covered in leaves and moss, with a skeletal face) will attack with a rusted axe.
TyqLaNM.png
The scent of rotted flesh comes back, stronger than ever, as guests enter the final room of the house. Corpses are strewn across the ground, with Bloodybones patrolling the area. A giant Rawhead will emerge and attack guests.
5Kftsik.png
Guests then see the exit. As they make their way down a final corridor, an inbred cannibal chases them out with a chainsaw.
ROCK AND ROLL: SHOCK YOUR SOUL: Rockpocalypse
Rock. It's been called The Devil's Music, erroneously. Still, if you're going to bring the mortal world to its knees, you gotta do it in *style*. Hell is unleashed to the tracks of the ages, and the horns won't save you now.
~~~

The prodigal son returns

~~~
ROOMS:
  • Facade: Guests walk into a church, whose stained glass windows flash with artwork of ominous album covers. News of the World, Bat Outta Hell, Metal Health, Rust in Peace, Dynasty, and Scary Monsters and Super Creeps line the sides, and Holy Diver sits above the walkway. Music from the albums play.
  • The Old Man Down The Road (John Fogerty): In a swamplands outside a visible city, a storm brews and dogs bark at guests. A preacher is proselytizing about the end times, warning guests as they pass by that doom is approaching. From a shack, The Old Man Down The Road lunges at guests. He has eyes as black as pitch, from the sclera to the pupils, shocks of white hair, and a dirty old suit, and carries a rattlesnake-skin suitcase. Guests then see the suitcase lying in the ground, with volcanic cracks leading to...
  • The Number of The Beast (Iron Maiden): The swamp turns to hellish viscera and rock as the devil from the cover of the album stands above guests. He'll attack with his pitchfork, and Eddie will attack guests. As guests approach the city, the Eddie from Legacy of the Beast jumps at guests, holding Satan's head in his hands.
  • The End of the World as We Know It (REM): In the city, the people are in a frenzy. Cars are wrecked, corpses are strewn, and the shadows of demons are seen above. Looters, one of which resembles Michael Stipe, attack guests. Some are cannibals, some are just insane.
  • Hell's Bells (AC/DC): Guests step into a church. The crosses are revolving and giant dragonlike demons are silhouetted in the stain-glass windows. From the Belfry leaps a stone gargoyle that attacks guests. Angus Young in his devil-horned uniform will attack as guests exit.
  • Coming For You (The Offspring): Guests step into an alley where wanted posters are hung on the buildings, Days Of Futures Past-style. One of the wanted men will rush out of a building, begging for help, before being dragged back in by an unseen force. From the other side of the alley, a being that looks like Hell's Doomguy will attack guests with a chainsaw.
  • The Thing That Should Not Be (Metallica): Guests then walk by a bayside street, where in the clouds in the distance, out over the ocean, giant entities can be seen. Demons, old ones, all manner of unpleasant and oversized nasties. Suddenly, a fishman lunges from the bay.
  • Rats (GHOST): Cardinal Copia's shadow can be seen dancing on the walls of a street wrecked by a fallen plane. Rats are strewn about, and bodybags are littered across the street, some of them containing moving corpses. From the wreckage littering the streets, Nameless Ghouls will attack. Guests duck into a diner.
  • Clowns Will Eat Me (Alice Cooper): The smell of burnt pork and a thick smoke emanates throughout the diner as demonic klowns torture, kill, and cook victims. Clowns are seen shoving shredded meat into their gobs, taking breaks to seek the fresher flesh of guests. Alice Cooper is roasting on a spit, still struggling to get off, and clown chefs attack with chainsaws.
  • Black Smoke Rising (Greta Van Fleet): What can only be described as a Hellish furnace. The area is covered in a thick black smoke, with the scent of burning... well, everything. Charred corpses litter the walkway, some lunging to attack guests.
  • War Pigs (Black Sabbath): Hellish hogknights roam the street as surviving soldiers try to fight back. A soldier gets impaled through with a war pig's sword, a boar feasts on the remains of a still-living soldier, and a soldier unloads an assault rifle onto a war pig, barely keeping the beast back. In the transition, a war pig attacks with a stolen M16.
  • Do The Evolution (Pearl Jam): In a further ruined part of the city, men are morphing into demons. Misshapen, twisted, scabrous, agonized... Lady Death can be seen in shadow dancing on one of the walls, lunging forward with her skull face as guests walk by.
  • Battleship Chains (Georgia Satellites): In a scene meant to feel like it's underwater, guests walk on a dead sea bed. Floating in the "Water" beside them are bloated corpses tied down with chain. One of the corpses will swing towards guests.
  • FINALE: Holy Diver (DIO): As guests walk out of the water, they are splashed by a struggling priest tied up with chain. Above them, emerging like a mountain, is Satan himself, a giant puppet. Satan will grasp at guests.
HELL OF ADVERTISING
Advertisements are sometimes annoying, sometimes funny, and sometimes scary. These commercials have haunted us for a good while, and now... they're back for blood.
~~~

I think I got bored and mentioned a haunted house based on commercials. You know, I don't even think this idea would be legal to pull off. Definitely a lot of red tape to get through.

~~~
ROOMS:
  • FACADE: Guests walk through a wall covered in old print advertisements. Rooms can be in any order, except for the finale. Transitions are staticky curtains.
  • NesTea Snowman: Guests walk through a dark convenience store, where a silhouetted skeletal figure can be seen, downing a drink and regaining mass. As he throws away the bottle, the skeletal snowman attacks with his carrot nose, accompanied by a blast of mist.
  • Bud Ice Penguin: On a stormy highway, guests see a penguin sinisterly singing "Dooby-Dooby Doo". As he finishes up, a car barrels towards guests.
  • The Judderman: In a forest, the rhyme of the Judderman can be heard and victims are shown freezing over. The Judderman attacks from the trees.
  • Puppy Monkey Baby: As guests approach the next room, the silhouette of a jerkily dancing figure can be shown. As guests enter a living room, Puppy Monkey Baby will appear through a hidden door in the wall, approaching guests strangely.
  • Krinkles the Clown: Guests pass by a clown sticking his head out of some kind of dog house. "Breakfast!", he shouts. As he ducks away, another Krinkles attacks from the other side. "I'm Hungry!"
  • Snickers Lady: In a dark supermarket, guests wind their way through the aisles. A woman squarely in the uncanny valley will lunge at guests.
  • Burger King: In a dark bedroom, a TV plays clips of the Subservient Chicken and Sneak King. As guests pass the bed, The Burger King will lunge out from under it.
  • Wilkins Coffee: Guests step into a black-and-white zone covered in the mangled corpses of Wontkins'. From the corners of the room, Wilkins will lunge out, attacking guests in time with a snappy one-liner.
  • Chocolate Monster: Live-Action Count Chocula stands on a stairway, narrating about a "little chocolate monster". Said monster, this hideous blob thing, will lunge out from a refrigerator.
  • Little Baby's Ice Cream: The Narration from the commercial plays as guests stumble upon various corpses in a freezer, with scoop-sized chunks taken out of the heads. The Ice Cream Being will lunge out at guests with a bloody scoop. As guests go to the other room, another Ice Cream Being is seen eating the brain chunks.
  • Kinder Surprise: Guests pass by a giant humpty dumpty puppet speaking gibberish and playing with a *gasp* Kinder Surprise Egg. At times, Humpty will fall towards guests, splashing them with water as he "breaks".
  • FINALE: Halloween Horror Nights 25: Guests enter a dark, dingy warehouse. Chance winds a wheel, with Freddy, Jason, and a horde of zombies in the cages on the wheel. The wheel will stop on the zombies, and the cage will open, letting the zombies lunge at guests. As guests exit the maze, Jack and Krinkles will attack.
