foodstampsFTW
This post is going to be hard to make, not because it hurts me to say this, but it's so difficult to understand what he's saying and I don't even know where to start. Ok, so he officially declared himself not a troll so I guess I have to address him, I'm not going to quote the post because it's too long, you know who I'm talking about and what post I'm talking about. Lets start art with the edits you did to your second post, the first new paragraph basically says Murdys daughters are running horror nights, which I can't even say how insulting that is. The second paragraph just repeats if anyone thinks this is scary, which I already addressed in my first response. I'll get to the whole Turkey connection later. Next, why do you keep insisting that no more VIP is killing this event. You even said that without it, it won't be a good night, I think that's what you were getting at, like Freak said your grammar and punctuation are terrible. How does this make any sense, how do you have fun at horror nights, why do you go? Do you go only to buy the most expensive pass and act like you're above everybody. Now while I think taking away VIP was a bad idea and that having VIP makes for a more relaxing night, but FOTL offers a more relaxing night as well. I assume most people go for the houses, scarezones, terror tram and shows, but I guess I was wrong. I just noticed you didn't finish a point you were making. You started off saying when People are spending that much to travel(should be this much) and then started to list off where you were going but you never finished the ordinal statement. No matter how much you list prices and how much people spend, I still don't buy you are a travel agent, especially since you never addressed the ludacris number of 27 people changing venues because of a purge scarezone, and how you'll lose money because of this even though you don't use your own money to pay for people's trips, and HOLLYWOODS TICKETS AREN'T ON SALE YET, YOU CANT BUY THEM. No no one said the purge had a cult following like the big 4 do, I also wouldn't classify the big 4 having a cult following but whatever. Ok what the fuck are you talking about with Purge and Turkey. Because you made this connection I'm going to assume you either haven't watched the movie or you don't know what happened in Turkey. In Turkey, there was a military coup, that's where the military revolted against the government because they felt they were to corrupt or they didn't agree with them, sorry I'm not an expert on what happened over there so correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I got an idea on what happened over there. The Purge Election Year, is a movie about a senator who's running for president and she wants to stop the purge, people in government don't like that so they use the purge to try and kill her, and the whole movie is about trying to protect her. There is no connection between the two, it's statements like this that makes people think you're a troll. Complete bullshit that you use as the basis of your arguements. If you truly aren't a troll, it's best to use fact to base your opinions off of. I don't even know what the last line is saying, use grammar and punctuation.

Grindhousehero13
Ok I gotta Mod.... Captain gonna mod stuff (Michael Rooker voice) peoples opinions are opinions no need to call out opinions but I'm gonna give UKdude the benefit of the doubt now as he has not stepped over the line yet and insulted one of us in a butt hurt manor yet. As per troll mating habits we usually see... The he fact is yes The Purge is not as developed property as the big 4 but that is literally making a 5 year old fight someone in their early 30s plus here in America it is a well liked franchise Spirit Halloween stores have sold purge masks every halloween since. You don't have to like it but be aware people do I know we joke around a lot especially about Jabawokees but we are aware of the fan base. Also do understand majority of HHNH ticket buyers are local Southern California natives who don't make enough to buy a 200 something dollar VIP tour. yeah it sucks for people who usually buy it but to be honest it's not gonna effect ticket sales just like last year didn't. I'm sorry it effects your job that sucks but it's not Murdy's obligation to make an event to serve a single person's income. It's like this I'm the manager of a GameStop, we sell funko Pop, when a pop flipper comes in and complains that the paint is a little scuffed or we limit 2 of a design to a customer because they can't sell it for a higher profit... It's not our duty to make them money the more power to them if that's how we make a living but our job is not dictated by that and neither is Murdy's but you have a right to be mad but no need to call for a witch hunt. also whatever happened in turkey is irrelevant to the event in Southern California nor the Purge movies. At the same time Universal is not being insensitive to a tragedy but at same time the Purge is totally based on America and its problems while raising concerns about issues we here and the states are facing with our government. On that note please be respectful by throwing out that card half of this forum are from Florida and has just went through tragedy so if it wasn't obvious this is a forum for theme parks not world news please stick to topics! Any further arguments will be handled with warnings and so on lets get along and move on.

StraightEdge
I'm back from the dead... Anyways, it's good to be back on the forums. I just wanted to ask, you guys think VIP passes will be back this year? And if they are? How much you think one would cost?
foodstampsFTW
Probably not, but if they were I'd say close to $250. Congratulations StraightEdge, it sounds like you might get to go this year. Hope it's very fun for you first timers.

You wouldn't think Murdy would want to bring them back since they weren't available last year and people weren't too happy about it?
AsylumSB
Since VIP is a pricing/ticket option and not a creative responsibility, I doubt John Murdy has the say of whether it will return. There was a lot of kickback from fans last year. I wish it would return but seems unlikely after Universal discontinued it.
HorrorNightsFan13
At ScareLA someone asked John about VIP and he said that he didn't even know if it's returning. I hope it is, there was a lot of negative feedback about it last year. At the least make front of the line unlimited
StraightEdge
Let's just hope for the best. How much do you guys think FOL tickets will be? How much were the most expensive ones last year?

How much were the most expensive ones last year? The most expensive front of line ticket price was 179.00. That was a 20 dollar price hike from 2014. So if they raise it another 20 it would be at 199.00 per ticket.
GeneralGiggles
I feel if they raise prices for tickets more than 20 to 40 dollars per ticket, that some people will not be able to go. Hell, look at Orlando's prices. I pray we never switch to a ticket system like they have for HHN. Waaaaaaay expensive. But regardless, us HHN nuts will still find a way to get our hands on tickets because the even is just that damn good!
GeneralGiggles
Speaking of Orlando. Is it just me or are their event tickets much more costly than Hollywood? Has it always been that way? Also..... I've gone to HHN 3 years in a row now and I have never thought to look and see if HHN front of the line tickets are cheaper, at the same price or more expensive than normal park hour front of the line passes. Can anyone answer this?

Can anyone answer this? Pretty positive FOL is about the same as general daytime FOL. I went for the extra November weekend last year on the very last day and there was a sale for FOL but it was still 80 dollars

Can anyone answer this? Orlando's ticket options are way better IMO. My girlfriend and I have bought the multi-night pass (I think its called Rush of Fear) plus front of the line for the 4 nights we go and it comes out to $300. $300 for 4 nights with FOL each night compared to $179 for one night at Hollywood is a steal. Plus, their event is so much better than ours.
