YouDontKnowJack
I recently purchased the Ghost Ride Productions Maze Portfolio DVD (you can buy it here) and I must say it is totally worth the money. You get walk-through videos of every HHN Hollywood maze from 1999 and 2000. The one I would like to talk about is the original House of 1000 Corpses maze, which appeared to be renamed "Rob Zombie's American Nightmare" when Universal decided not to distribute the film. I have not seen the 2010-2011 or the 2000 maze in person, but from what I can see, the maze in 2000 blows the newer one out of the water. Here are some observations:While the newer maze used the original props for the murder ride portion, they were not functional and their environments did not match the movie as well as they should have. The old maze, however, had these props fully functioning as seen in the movie, and it appears that they are even in the same sets as the movie. Lizzie Borden and the pop-up zombie from the movie are also present, unlike in the newer maze. Overall, the Murder Ride portion is much more true to the film in the original maze. The rest of the maze is largely the same as the newer version, however there seems to be more detail overall, probably due to the lack of 3D. The only downfall is that Dr. Satan is not present. There is only one question I have about this maze. Where exactly was it located? There has to be somebody on here who went through it. The map shows its entrance near the tram somewhere. All of the following images are owned by Ghost Ride Productions. Here are some shots of the facade:Gas Station Lobby:Murder Ride:Firefly House:Tunnels: Edited September 28, 2015 by YouDontKnowJack

DTH316
Murder ride looks good. Everything after looks like it's a bit on the cheaper side.I also thought the idea to use Spaulding masks was a bit of an odd choice in '10-11, but I can totally see why now.
