Grindhousehero13
I think they are just doing maintenance this happens every once and a while. Anyways has anyone seen Orlando's videos lately? They got the Raptor encounter before us and HOLY SH*T BALLS this is the coolest thing I ever seen... seriously makes me want a JP/JW Scarezone even more now... Haven't seen it yet but I'm assuming that it will be similar to Singapore's. Anyways, I honestly think that this makes a JP scarezone completely possible, because I asked a while ago about the puppet and someone said "Naw too expensive" but here we are, Universal owns one. Ofc it may not make sense depending on the lineup but it's still possible. Edit: Turns out it is NOT the same as Singapore's. Does anybody know how this puppet works? It could still probably be incorporated into a scarezone but not as easily as I had expected. Edited May 27, 2015 by deliciousoatmeal

Ridesandstuff
I case you guys haven't seen it yet we're getting it too. http://www.universalstudioshollywood.com/auditions/upcoming-auditions/JP extended queue would be a possible place for this so we could end up having another replacement venue. On the other hand it would be interesting to see if they keep it open during HHN but spruced up with maybe some red lights and a tossed corpse somewhere. Could be a cool photo op/ small experience. deliciousoatmeal
Mad Max is my first guess. After having seen Fury Road I back this guess 100%. I doubt it would be based off of FR though, if I had to guess it would likely be based off of 2&3, or original setting with Mad Max characters. Freak
^Note that Murdy did say that the final box had been checked for the "out-of-the-box" property after the film had been released. I think its Mad Max.
ThNdIzNiR
I was just asking because I read this last night and I thought it was a non-horror property that occasionally had shades of horror in it. http://www.christianpost.com/news/the-x-files-revival-release-date-news-update-fox-announces-premiere-date-of-the-miniseries-138997/

The Funniest thing, we talked about that a page or two ago. With there not being able for HOH, Shrek (I did ask John about this earlier in the year and he did say no), and possibly now the JP Overflow, I think we need to keep an eye out at the CSI soundstages come start of construction for the event. Edit: The JP Overflow is going to be used for Horror Nights, Courtesy of Johns word himself today. Edited May 27, 2015 by Alexshow

They might be able to replace the dino play place, but I don't know how much space is needed for the show. Either way I just don't think that people will notice the show if it's tucked away, unless they advertise the shit out of it.
Grindhousehero13
You know how Big Bird works? It appears similar to that. so a guy in costume with his hands working the mouth? If I remember correctly. Yeah Freak informed us a few days ago.
Legacy
so a guy in costume with his hands working the mouth? If I remember correctly. Yep. I can't confirm, it's just my hunch. The puppeteer is bent at the waist which forces the somewhat stilted walking. They also keep raising the raptor's head in a way that allows them to straighten their back and relax. Their other hand is, likely, how they control the different sounds. Unless the raptor is a puppet with rods their legs and puppeteer rolls around on their back underneath it. But the Big Bird method is really the most logical method.

It's basically a puppet suit, much like those in Walking with Dinosaurs Live. It's a pretty popular way of making cool looking dinosaur costumes right now. I haven't seen it yet, but out of curiosity we're there things that could be used in a maze? Kind of spoiler but not really: If you really care turn back now: There's a way to put a spoiler tag isn't there? I can't remember, please remind me if there is. There's only 3-4 indoor environments in the entire film, and they're all during the first 15 minutes of the movie. The rest of the film takes place on the open road. BUT what is there is certainly usable for a maze. If they were to base it off of Fury Road they would have to take a LOT of creative liberties. Another option is to combine environments from Fury Road and the upcoming game, which definitely has plenty of indoor environments. But either way, they could definitely have some creative liberties like they did with AvP, it being based on the film but not a carbon copy of it.

If it is Mad Max, i'd expect it to mix the game and the movie, or the movie and unused scenes that would of been. They aren't exactly deprived of things to do, especially if the original Creator himself, George Miller becomes a creative consultant. foodstampsFTW
There's definitely not enough stuff in fury road for a maze. Enough characters but hardly any scenes
SirOwenDisney
I just think if it were Mad Max, they would've announced it already then again perhaps everything isn't in place for the deal in order to capitalize on the new film. Mad Max as a property would work as an awesome scare zone for sure, definitely Purge like.

I immediately thought of a Mad Max Terror Tram. Bates Motel and Whoville wouldn't really fit the theme well but they could definitely work with WotW. Still, the property would be a good fit for HHN in some form.
