Halloween Horror Nights - Hollywood 2015 Speculation

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, it's the first time I've posted this season. I haven't been able to keep up with the forums as much as I would have liked to. I was wondering if someone could catch me up on what our speculation looks like at the moment? Thank you!

Insidious for Post Punk

There have been a lot of connections for Rock Festival but I connected it to TWD

Nothing yet for Name Game 2.0

A bunch of other stuff has been thrown around also, Iron Maiden 3D, FVJ, I can't remember much else. And there might be a different TT theme than TWD but it could be FTWD

How did you match Post Punk to Insidious?

We have no evidence on FVJ or Iron Maiden let alone 3D those are still wild assumptions. Nor do we have any idea in Terror Tram theme being any different just that they have consultant. The only things we know..,.

1. First Maze announcement is early June then we should have constant flow if announcements through summer.

2. More then likely TWD is back in some form due to AMC contest.

3. Murdy is bring something fresh to Terror Tram. Most likely changing paths no word or clue to theme or TWD's influence yet.

4. The only logical things brought up that COULD be used so far Insidous 3, Crimson Peaks, and Krampus due to all being Universal Movies and being helmed by friends of Murdy and HHN

5. No Jack the Clown.

6. Everything else is either based on a leak ORLANDO had that Dr. Jimmy said are possible red hierings or are just wild assumption based on how "Murdy is lazy is probably gonna do this to us again."

7. There is a Non horror property being featured.

Yeah nothing that we didn't already know was coming. This year has been pretty dry on Murdy's end

In other Just Walking Dead so far...

Do you blame Murdy? we have figured the whole event out the past 4 years.... but to be fair (to us) one of the big reasons we don't have any clue and are jumping at every ludicrous theory are we lost a lot of members who a handful were key members over the past 2 to 3 years who at this point who would let slip a "Crazy Theory" or very subliminally and low key post, or put certain ideas into our heads without giving anything away. (Don't ask me names out of respect for all they did for us). Some of the old folks knew a lot but without the key members we are bone dry and hence it safe to say that this year WE GOT NOTHING, and honestly I think it's more exciting then being in the know.

Post Punk

Song written by band associated with post punk era: Letter to Elise by The Cure

Elise is the main character of Insidious ch. 3

Shared name with John Robert Francis Murdy: Robert Smith, lead singer of the Cure

Killed off by modern technology: Letters killed off by email and texting.

Impressive match... but which clue was the red herring? That song was a hit, so it's not really obscure and it was released as a single.

Sorry to stray off topic however this is the speculation thread, today I saw a film that a close friend of mine is starring in. It is a horror/sci-fi film that is very much like a classic haunted house story with a sci-fi twist. The main villain character I can easily see being created into a maze character and the character is very scary looking and there are scenes that I could see being translated into a maze. Anyways the theatrical release date is October 16th so I think it could be a possibility for a maze at horror nights hollywood depending on the buzz it creates with trailers and such even though the maze slate is already locked and loaded. I don't know it just caught my attention.

As exciting as this sounds, I'm going to keep my expectation low. Just because mazes may be in a sound stage doesn't mean it'll be great (I.e. The Undertaker and Black Sabbath). I hope Murdy uses those venues to their fullest potential.

If anything, it will be interesting for the lineup as we could determine what houses could work then.

Also, Just going to put in a quick update for the Terror Tram as John says.

Makes me really curious on what this years Terror Tram entails.
