hhnholdem
I just wanted to know if anybody knows what happens when those blinking cups sold at the bars stop blinking. Is the battery compartment easily accessible or are you just out of luck?
kelise
I've got one from 2007 that still works. And you can change the battery if you want to
hhnholdem
Thanks. I never really looked close enough at the battery compartment but it's good to know that your 2007 still works.
xxleftx2xdiexx
you should just have to unscrew the battery opening and swap
DetroitDiezel
Does anybody know what the actual battery is? I need to buy new ones. I know that it's a type of watch battery but there's several different ones. I'm not sure which ones to purchase.
littlegreenghouls
It's those small over priced round batteries. It's the same type as the car key if I am not mistaken.
scithe
The ones from Howl O Scream were LR44 and the HHN ones look about the same but I haven't unscrewed any. I've actually got some old cups I was planning to list on eBay in the next couple of weeks and I will open one up and report back here if someone doens't beat me to it. But removing the batteries from most years should be easy, you just need a decent size flat-head screwdriver and I think a half a turn is all you need to unlock it and the batteries come right out. If yours doesn't blink, I would remove the batteries before they leak into the cup.
