HHN Hollywood 2014 Speculation

Recommended Posts

Also, what if the next maze announced is The Conjuring? I'm pretty sure Orlando and Hollywood would share that IP. It does seem like a good fit in the Persian area.

It's not coming to Orlando. (and who knows if it's coming to Hollywood)

I highly doubt it'll come to Hollywood then.

Did well critically and financially. Chris Williams was a fan of the film and James Wan was on property for the past 2 months filming fast 7. You're right, very little chance it's coming to Hollywood...

Why not? Insidious is a very popular film but it didn't go to Orlando last year.

Hey! I completely forgot about Insidious! Haha sorry I'm forgetting lol but yeah if The Conjuring Comes I would freak out so badly I love that movie

The Thing ;) about the Breakfast Club is... Murdy was about or older than 17 when it came out. He was born in '67... BC came out in 85.

Born January 29th, 1967

Breakfast Club release date: February 15th, 1985

HOWEVER, I do think we're getting Cabin in the Woods.

I still think he somehow changed that twitter post... The "may or may not have" clue was supposed to help figure out which Universal highschool comedy he was hinting at. Keeping that in mind, it would have to mean that he did sneak in or else it obviously isn't a clue. No matter what though, the movie has to be from the 80's or maybe late 70's due to the mosh pit clues.

Next announcement has something to do with "concentrate and ask again."

Like concentrated soap, which means that something is "on the rise."

I think we might know who those two celebrities will be when he announces the next maze.

Looks like it. Unless I misread the hint and it's for one of the bigger shared IPs. I could see them saving one of those for the later announcements. It makes sense, start off with the biggest IP, pepper in a lighter one, and then work in the bigger ones near the end. The last announcement is going to be a big one regardless due to the fact it's a 7th maze.

Or maybe he's saying may or may not have, because he's so old, he forgot! :-P lol

Anyway, Murdy is doing Q&A today. So get your shit together and ask GOOD questions. Somehow he always answers the stupid as hell ones.

He loves torturing fans. And his fans love it.

No really, what a shocker that a bunch of people who can't wait to smell putrid rotting flesh and be startled and wait in two hour lines have a masochistic side.

John Landis is pretty much a given. He has to approve everything in the attraction and can basically pull out at any time if he doesn't feel it does his film justice. Even Aiello was worried he wouldn't approve of the Tardis cameo in the House last year.

So apparently the conjuring isn't happening. This 7th sure is a mystery

"@eyyitsjustin on the minus side, tricky film to turn into a maze... Sequel is coming but not sure of date... Seems to be issues with it"

He didn't outright say no. I wouldn't count it out completely. If he has been wanting to do the Exorcist, then how would the Conjuring be any harder to pull off? I personally think it's a clever save to dodge the question without hinting it's coming. I don't see anything else going in Persian Square. He said the same sort of thing about Evil Dead last year saying that the effects would be too complicated.

I don't think we should ever ex-nay a property as a possibility unless either Murdy outright says no, or give good implications that it's not happening (I.e. no returning properties in any way shape or form).
