HHN Hollywood 2014 Speculation

Is AWIL a strong assumption or wishful thinking?

AWIL is a very strong assumption, heck it's probably downright certain. No other film can match up with the clues given for Soap Commercial. It's a well known fact that David Naughton did advertisements for Dr. Pepper before he was in AWIL, in fact I think it's been said that his work in that commercial is what got him noticed.

As for the clue for an' actress who made a cameo in AWIL and had a film released this year, I'll be honest...thinking about it, Jenny Agutter is NOT the answer to this clue. While she was in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, her role in AWIL was far more then a cameo.

However, there's still an' actress who had a film come out this year who also had a cameo in AWIL. An' that is believe it or not...Miss Piggy. She had a cameo in AWIL, and Muppets Most Wanted came out this year. AWIL still fit's perfectly with those clues.

Miss Piggy? That's a good one.

Resident Evil fits SOAP Commercial...

Treatment is 47 pages - we had RE last year in Orlando and it was fairly short. Could AWIL be done with so few pages? There were a ton of details in last year's maze, so unless yours is going to be very different, I'd doubt it.

Part of the title is a brand of soap... Now keep in mind, the clues were meant to throw you off. SOAP = Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program. The company that is responsible for creating SOAP is National RESIDENT Matching Program. Look it up for yourselves if you don't believe it. www.nrmp.org/residency/soap/

One of the main stars this movie is based on acted in TV commercials before making this movie = take your pick... Milla Jovovich (Avon) and Ali Larter (Designer Imposters - fragrance) both did TV commercials before making the movie.

Murdy's rules? What was the rule that said TWD and RE couldn't happen at the same event?

Also...

I've seen plenty of speculation that the Purge will be at HHN, but I haven't seen anything impressive that matches it to the 5 clues Murdy gave us. If the Purge wasn't having a movie released this summer I doubt people would even think it would be a candidate. Maybe the Purge will only be a scare zone, or... a 7th house?

Silent Hill had creatures that could be classified as zombies... you still had TWD.

Resident Evil has many creatures in it besides zombies, but zombies = zombies?

At least CITW and ED both took place in a cabin. The initial settings were very similar.

When most people think Resident Evil they think of zombies as a large majority of HHN guests have probably only seen the movies. No one associates Silent Hill with zombies (except for you maybe). TWD and RE take place in post apocalyptic cities as well so its easy to see why Murdy wouldn't go for it. I honestly don't think people care if there's similar themes in the event as your event was succesful and we had a walking dead scarezone, terror tram, and maze and no one cared, but that's just how things are.

Aside from Soap Commercial, the codenames are vague enough to the point that they could be any of the above mentioned properties.

Resident Evil and TWD are not the same theme. That would almost be like saying all movies that have vampires are the same theme.

Yeah and look at all of those times that HHN had two vampire themed mazes oh wait nevermind that didn't happen.

uhhhh unless I played the games wrong there were no creatures in SH that were zombies or would be considered zombies. As they were supposed to be demonic entities inhabiting an alternate reality.

And you can't compare the two, the executioner from Resident Evil 5 was such a minor character (and btw despite what the movies do he was NOT a Zombie) he was defeated within the first 10 minutes of game play and was not even considered a boss. If there was gonna be a resident evil maze since it would more than likely be based off the first 3 games taking place in Raccoon City when the enemies were BOWs and ZOMBIES. Pyramid Head on the other hand had a huge role in the 2nd game comparable to Nemesis in RE3 and was a manifestation of the main character's desire to be punished and was present through out most of the game.

You gotta take in mind they are not making this even for just one person.
