Ridesandstuff
"Almost forgot...maze announcement season is just around the corner...might be sooner than you think....certainly sooner than year's past..." If it does turn out to be this month, I'm guessing it will be The Purge as it would be early enough to create hype for the movie. Freak
^They announced The Thing first in 2011. You're probably right. It's a good move for them to have announcements earlier. Only waiting in July is going to leave the door open for leaks. Besides, people can figure out what's coming judging by construction. Remember Insidious? Gian5678
Here we go, don't get too excited kids... Maze #5 aka Soap Commercial is none other than Leprechaun, the reboot coming out soon. Irish Springs is the brand of soap in which the title word Irish is being used in the maze title, Jennifer Aniston is the actress that starred in the original, cameos in the reboot film, and she did tv commercials before the film was made. Maze #4 aka "Atari 2600 system" will most likely be any of these codename hints given by these game titles. Space Invaders and Xenophobe can be the possibility of an Alien or Dead Space Maze, Haunted House can point towards The Conjuring as a Maze, Demon Attack can either be The Exorcist, the recent horror movie Oculus, or the return of the Insidious maze, and Halloween can actually be Trick r Treat or Halloween itself. Maze #3 aka "Beauty is Only Skin Deep" refers to none other than the fan loving series of Hellraiser. The name Beauty is only skin deep goes back to Hellraiser 3, in which the horrifying images that followed that phrase in the movie go back to. The actress that starred in this Horror property was Terry Ferrel, a former model who also starred in Hellraiser 3, where the quote was used. The words Ding, Dong refer to a movie with a very very similar style and plot to Hellraiser called Ding, Dong, youre dead. Get ready to meet Pin Head this year. Maze #2 aka "Teen Spirit", is most likely none other than The Purge as a maze. The Universal teen comedy Murdy was talking about is Fast Times at Ridgemont High, starring Sean Penn, the actor which connects to theme of the maze due to the fact that he is very political and government influence, and is always searching and fighting for political and social changes, the same background theme around The Purge. The words Fast Times are also used in poker. Blumhouse of Horrors in LA did a Purge maze last year and now it looks like USH wants to dominate their territory. Maze #1 aka "Empire" and the original maze are still unknown... Let's see what we can come up with! Goodnight

Maze 5: Soap Commercial 1.The treatment comes in at 47 pages. 2.Part of the title of this maze is also a brand of soap 3.One of the main stars of the horror movie this maze is based on acted in TV commercials before he/she made this film 4.A famous actress who had a movie released this year makes a cameo in this film. *Editors note* Murdy loves to toss our red herrings when it comes to his clues. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The clues below deal with an orginal maze that John Murdy came up for Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood. We will never figure out what the maze is but its cool to get insight on what its about. It was inspired by a News story.. The original maze also has a strange connection to a song that was written in 1946Its about a place Its been covered many many times There are three main characters weve created for this maze, one was inspired by an old TV commercial that I find particularly disturbing One was inspired by a character in a John Steinbeck novel Just so happens to be a role I played back in my acting days many moons ago One character was inspired by a psychological condition or rather something people with this condition do Its a recent phenomenon Other inspirations for this maze include The packaging for a food item that has always creeped me out and a movie prop weve used at HHN

Gian5678
I'm still investigating Maze #1 aka "Empire" and the unknown maze... but all clues are pointing and coming really close to An American Werewolf in London maze... Lets see what happens!
ThNdIzNiR
I've been thinking about the evidence presented earlier in regards to the Soap Commercial clues. Someone used Jenny Agutter to fit the "a famous actress who had a movie released this year makes a cameo in this film" clue. Jenny played the part of Nurse Alex Price in An American Werewolf in London. If I recall, she played a large enough role in the movie for it to not be classified as a cameo. Unless I'm mistaken, the words "in this film" are referring to the film the maze is based off of, not the Captain America movie. and... Gian 5678, does the word Irish appear in the title Leprechaun? Since the maze isn't original, I'm pretty sure they just use the title of the ip they would be using (unless you count the subtitle/slogan). I think Atari 2600 could indeed be the Conjuring. The Haunted House clue seems to work, Murdy has wanted to do another paranormal property, and 90 pages of treatment would probably work for a property like that. I'm sure the museum of the Warrens with all of those artifacts would require a LOT of details to be written down. With Teen Spirit, I think that theory works as well. I never thought about Hellraiser relating to "Beauty". The only problem is that Murdy said that i needs "More awareness" or another movie to make it happen. Empire, I'm thinking is Dracula. Gian5678
Backing up my idea of the word "Irish" being used in the maze title, all the mazes usually have a subtitle or heading following the Original IP name such as in previous occasions, Evil Dead: Book of the Dead, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Saw is the Law, SAW: Game Over, Frida The 13Th: Camp Blood, etc. Leprechaun probably has the word Irish in the rest of the title. All Murdy said was that it was in the maze title but wasn't specific...
Mr.HHN
Sorry to put you down but Leprechaun will never happen for the same reason we don't see Chucky too much that it is hard to cast actors that are short and I'm pretty darn sure this is AWIL. ThNdIzNiR
Jenny Agutter doesn't fit the criteria for Soap Commercial... Here is my list again... I'm still waiting for someone here to provide better evidence to convince me to change my picks. 1. Empire = Friday the 13th (Past, Present, and Future) 2. Teen Spirit = The Walking Dead 3. Beauty is Only Skin Deep = AVP 4. Atari 2600 = Halloween (least confident pick) 5. SOAP Commercial = Resident Evil 6. Route 66 (original ideas) Didn't you guys get a Purge scare zone last year? Did Murdy really say that people aren't aware of the Hellraiser franchise enough to justify a house??? Edited June 6, 2014 by ThNdIzNiR
Grindhousehero13
sorry I don't think I was here when that Happened. May I ask why? we proven Ghostbuster can't and won't be used and it was stirring tension between everybody so it went on the Taboo list. Occulus was not well received, Murdy laughs at the idea that any one would want a Leprechaun maze and has used it as a joke many times plus not exactly a fan pleasing property. Plus Murdy has said before it's hard to cast for things that relay on a small character why every time Chucky is at HHN its always Chucky and his Army of Doll Soldiers. Alien has been off the list since Murdy said it would be way too expensive to do it. but good guesses.
ferox
He's also said that Hellraiser would need another release since there were so many poorly received straight to dvd sequels. Makes sense. The first movie doesn't have much to work with (absolutely amazing movie, but not a lot of maze fodder) and the sequels are pretty awful.

ThNdIzNiR
How do the Empire clues tie to Dracula? When did Murdy say Universal doesn't have sufficient money to fund an Alien or Predator maze? Don't forget that this is the freak out maze. Assuming it was done right, I'm sure people would be freaking out. Besides... it would be much cheaper to do an AVP maze than it would an Alien maze. Grindhousehero13
really? da fuuuuu? every review I read said it was bad plus it kinda faded into nothing after the day it came out...I'll check Rotten Tomatoes. too hopeful plus it's been I think 3 years is the max on properties being used. On the subject of Alien Murdy himself said they do not have the funds to do Alien so don't expect it.
