HHN Hollywood 2014 Speculation

Recommended Posts

A house and scarezone would certainly be smaller capacity than house, backlot experience, and terror tram. Or even just the maze. TTT did say that there would be a maze, so if we're going by off what he said, there's a house. He also said there would be a maze in Orlando.

But then again, even if he did have a source (a real source, not drunk Murdy high on Twilight Zone) he could have outdated info.

No, the point is to get people to enjoy the event. That insures gets visits (the goal in most industries) and good word of mouth. That's why they have those exit surveys.

Not to mention more merch sales. If you are having a good time you are more likely to spend money on merch at the event.

plus I don't know if you notice both TWD Terror Trams were 90% identical besides a prison tower in whoville and everyone yelling either "Governor this Woodbury that" most of the new material would fit a maze better (Roof Walkers, Bush Walkers, ect, ect,) if it were to be a Terror Tram again it would be slightly different walkers and scenes with everybody yelling Terminus.

If they did it well, I could see them have the train tunnel along the trail, the signs that read, "Glenn, go to Terminus!", the burning cabin, and maybe have Terminus go where Woodbury was.

They did Scream only as a Terror Tram in 2011. It was horribly received, but I think it's possible if this is John's last year as creative director. That would open up other venues to be able to do what he wants to do. Besides, I think he would rather do that than to have BOTH WD and Insidious back. Having more than half the lineup being the same is a sad way to go out as creative director, don't you think?

That's assuming Insidious comes back and assuming he would rather do a mostly the same TT rather than a maze which can have all new scenes and characters.

And assuming it's his last year.

And assuming there's six mazes.

so you're saying we turn a destroyed suburban neighborhood into a train yard? and build a large cement tunnel and lay train tracks all over the backlot?

And like Ferox said we are assuming Insidious is coming back based only on a pattern and nothing else.

And we're does Murdy say anywhere this is his last year?

TWD only as TT and/or as a scarezone is such a waste. I'd rather not have it at all. A part of me wishes Scream was never done. The poor reception of that will likely hinder its chances of ever coming back. And it wasn't awareness of the product - it was the execution. I am SURE of that.

Aside from reusing the prison again and the golf club, there isn't really anything else IMO that screams, "This has got to be a maze!". I think it seems like a better fit for the Terror Tram. They included elements of season three on the Terror Tram that weren't totally accurate (The traps and wall writing from that guy from season one, Woodbury, etc.).

it would be cool IF they can pull it off but remember the deer cooler and A train tunnel are two extremely different things, a train tunnel is freggin huge

ok SPOILERS don't read the rest of my post if you don't want them.

For the train tunnel to work on the TT you would have to build an tunnel that would look like it can fit a train and big enough to do the Wall of Walkers if you make it the size of the deer trailer, that is just weak on so many levels but if you work it into a maze you don't have to use a physical tunnel entrance and base a room off of the wall of walkers (the Walkers stuck in the cave in) and if want of list of stuff that work better in a maze over out in the open Terror Tram

The Roof Walkers (potential Bungee Scare)

The Bloody Eye Walkers in the prison

Carl's Friend's (Forget his name) walker lurking in the showers.

Camo Bush Walkers

Old Folks Home Walkers

The Pudding House

the rest could be used in Terror Tram but works way better closed spaces like in a maze.

True on the tunnel but if it's doesn't end up being a maze and just the terror tram and the rumor is true that AMC funds universal to do TWD then I can actually see them pulling it off but it would make more sense in a maze though.

they probably do help but I doubt they fund HHN the Rumor was they reserved the metropolis set and Soundstage I doubt THEY paid HHN for anything let alone pay for a huge cement tunnel to be permanently constructed right dab in the middle of the back lot

What do you mean permanently constructed

with building a giant cement tunnel?

Not everything is going to be completly accurate. The prison tower (in whoville of all places) was pretty small. The entrance to Woodbury wasn't anything spectacular and yet 2013's had the highest rated TT. People can suspend their disbelief, I doubt anyone is gunna say "wait this is not large enough for a train to go through" I do agree that It seems like TWD would be better fit for a maze, but with that tweet I'm slightly doubtful it's gunna come back.
