Batwithtusks
So I guess maze 3 is the FREAK OUT one. So the clues that match Maze 1 to Ghostbusters kind of eliminate that from being Maze 1, since that is a FREAK OUT property. BTW, his favorite Irish punk band is either Dropkick Murphy's or Flogging Molly. But I'm going with Flogging Molly since Dropkick Murphys only play their St. Patrick's Day shows in Boston, and I don't think Murdy travels there very often.

kwyjibo
I almost wonder if this year could potentially lend itself to sort of a backwards patriotic theme. All the major rumored properties (AHS, AAWIL, Purge, Exorcist) All really lend themselves to a demented US kind of idea.
Grindhousehero13
except for AWIL which you know happened in London lol.
kwyjibo
I do admit it fits the least. But still it can fit in with an "American" theme without too much puzzle piece forcing.

kwyjibo
It's as if almost there's more to a film/book/tv show than it's setting.
ferox
Not if the theme you are trying to push is based on a location...like America. Aside from The Purge, it would be a shock if any of those got to HHNH anyway. And the only one with the theme of backwards patriotism is The Purge. AsylumSB
Interesting piece of speculation over at the Orlando boards. It is somewhat compelling that Walking Dead would be cast aside for AHS. I look at it differently. I don't recall any IP's repeating three years in a row and wonder if the "mega-sized" WD was a one time shot. Seems like it would be difficult to let go of a property like the Walking Dead at this point.
DTH316
As long as TWD continues to have new locations and as long as the mazes change every year (hoping the last two years will be an indication), then I say another 5 years! We'll always have zombies at the event and as long as they continue to push all that money into the event, then sure, why not. And is it just me, but when the TWD theme song plays, I instantly feel like I'm back at home... at HHN The Saw theme got super old though. I don't know why.
ferox
If the sources are legit (I know that there's a few good insiders over at Orlando...but not sure if this HHNUK guy is one) you have to remember that Orlando is not Hollywood as far as properties go. Last year before whatever happened with AHS, the only shared property we were going to have was Walking Dead. But AHS got canned and Evil Dead was the replacement. Exactly, like when we thought we were getting CITW and AWIL based off of Orlando's rumors and got super dissapointed when it didn't happen. DTH316
Anyone have any thoughts on what Chucky will be up to this year? I rather enjoyed his scarezone last year.
Grindhousehero13
I can see Orlando dropping TWD this year I can't see Hollywood doing it, besides Orlando has more of a stigma on repeats where as us on the west coast tend to celebrate them more. Legacy
Orlando stigmatizes everything that isn't a wholly original concept... unless it's something that we really like.
Grindhousehero13
us 5 people vs the majority that still want Freddy and Jason back plus show up in mobs throwing money because the walking dead is back...hate to say it's a little more than tolerated here in So Cal.
