HHN Hollywood 2014 Speculation

If "Teen Spirit" is the FREAK OUT maze cancel Halloween out since we had that a couple years ago. I'm gonna come out clean and say that this is The Exorcist finally after all those years of waiting.

If Teen Spirit is the freak out maze, I would also agree Halloween is very unlikely.

when he says fans I dont think he means only us. I think he's including facebook fans, twitter fans, and any others who frequent the event, who would probably freak out over halloween. I have to agree with grind though...what else is there to do with halloween? I guess the could do what Orlando did with freddy and do their own story involving characters from halloween.

Food for thought: Trick r Treat would be another maze that fans would "Freak out" over.

With the possibility of this year or the next being John Murdy's last year, I think Murdy is trying to crank out all of the major properties that he and many fans have wanted for a long time. So I think the Exorcist does seem highly likely at this point. Keep in mind that one of Murdy's hints was that the actor's credit is used in the title for the maze. I think maybe Murdy might include the name in the subtitle of the maze (The Exorcist: Haunting of Regan O'Neil). If it is the Exorcist, I would start looking for actors in teen comedies with the name "Regan" or "O'Neil".

Halloween has been used but not repeated like the big three. Surprising it has not made its return with being a successful maze. I think it is destined to return but my guess is it would be a replacement if one of the other IP'S gets nixed.

Looking over the tweets...it doesn't seem entirely surefire say that Teen Spirit/Maze 2 is the freak out maze. He even once talking about Maze 2 and said "in other news" there's something that will make the fans freak out.

It could be Walking Dead.

Breakfast Club, very iconic high school comedy. It could be Charlie Sheen (who went to a LA area high school with Sean Penn, both guys I would imagine are into The Pogues). Charlie is the name of multiple characters in the Walking Dead comics and TV show. Charlie Sheen was in a movie called "No Man's Land" AND "Apocalypse Now."

I'm pretty convinced it's The Exorcist, as well. More sure than I have been in the past (admittedly, I've thought every year has been the year). So far, the two mazes don't seem to be pointing to The Walking Dead, although I am sure it is coming.

Teen Spirit has a crapload of clues that it almost seems like it'd be a giveaway if someone were to spend more than 15 mins researching.

Can't wait for the hint that'll turn us all around in another direction.

Hey, did Murdy do the codename contest last year with winners getting something? I don't remember.

It would be weird to bring back the exact same maze 5 years later wouldn't when TCM and F13 repeated it was the very next year when the big 3 came back they were based off completely re-imagined (in Saws The Law's case Original version) versions which added new environments such as: The Sawyer House and Graveyard scene, Jason's underground tunnels, and the elementary school from TCM, f13 and NOES plus redesigned Slashers, where as even if the remake was used the character design is for the most part the same and when get to the environment it's still a suburban neighborhood and an asylum.

Mr. HHN, about Walking Dead if by HHN fans will freak out you mean they will tell Murdy to shut up and take their money then yes that is exactly what's gonna happen.

True, most of us would probably FREAK OUT for the Next who knows how many years that Twd stays but will give Universal my money until the prices are so high that Disneyland tickets will be seen as cheap.

This! I personally think that they should bring back The Walking Dead when the show is about to end as one final hurrah for the property... and so God help me if HHN tickets ever reach the triple digit limit.. I wonder who is winning the war to rob us SoCal theme park fans out of house and home?

I have looked through the thread and I don't think anyone has mentioned this. We are looking at the wrong type of singer: When murdy said he did a VIP tour with a singer, he wasn't talking about a musician. He was talking about someone with the surname singer. Other hints are that it was sung by an X-man and Malcolm. Famous Malcolm is Malcolm X X men is Xmen and the famous singer is the director of X Men Bryan Singer. Who also produced Trick 'R' Treat in 2009.

Happy St. Paddy's day... Going to release an Irish themed Bonus Hint for Maze #2. This is going to take a couple of tweets...

I told you the key to solving the codename for maze #2 (Teen Spirit) was finding an actor from a famous Universal Teen Comedy...

I also told you that part of the name of this maze can be found in this actor's credits... But there's something I didn't tell you about HIM

… I once met this actor… in a mosh pit, literally. The year was 1985. It was at a show for my favorite Irish band of all time...

…This band was famous for combining traditional Irish music with punk rock...Now here's the hint…

The actor you're looking for was with a famous friend of his that night… They are both alumni's of the same high school.. Who could it be?

I notice how Murdy put "HIM" in all caps. Could he be referencing to the band HIM.

I think he was merely emphasizing the gender.
