Arsik_22
I guess it is OK to sell out as long as you get da $$$ Okay to sell out? HHN has always been about using well known IP's to attract the GP. Of course Murdy tries to please the fans when he can, but if he has access to the most popular horror property on TV that will cause the event to sell out, why shouldn't he use TWD? It's not like that's the only maze were getting. Plus, he could have just repeated the maze all three years with minimal changes if he wanted to and people would still come because of marketing. But instead, we get a brand new maze each year with a ton of varied environments & walkers. Edited July 20, 2014 by shark23
ferox
Wait wait wait. So you mean that these attractions were nothing more than a means to attract guests to the park? Son of a-
UniversalStudiosGeek
Yeah because bringing back TWD for a 4th time would really reel in all the GP who are whining about TWD 3 (Hell, they even had an question about it on HHNO survey). Facebook comments about TWD reveal: "Again? D: this is the third year in a row this is gonna be the theme. Enough already!" "For the 1000th time in a row..." "So lame. How original. I've been going since 07 haven't missed a year and used to be so excited to see what it will be every year now I don't care because I know it's more twd year after year." "I love Walking Dead and it was a good attraction the year before last when I went but three years in a row? Isn't this becoming overkill when there's SOOO many horror franchises to draw from? It seems selfish for AMC to keep using up a spot someone else could innovate in." TWD 4 would be a sad attempt to attract customers who have already seen the previous iterations (sell out). The well is going to be dried out. It's sad to see HHN fans ok with the same thing every year...

The amount of people complaining about it's return is much smaller than the amount of people who are going to the event to see TWD. 19+ millions fans > a couple thousand people not being happy over a returning (which most are returning fans who love HHN- so no matter how much they complain, will still attend the event.)

Its true! I personally don't care to see the walking dead again......but i know it can potentially be a great maze. The 2012 maze was one of the best mazes. I didn't care much for last years because the crowd control in the maze was TERRIBLE and ruined the experience....i wish i went through it again though. Doctor Jeffula
If you get in the early access line this year and hit it first, Crowds won't be a problem. let me clarify......It wasn't the line waiting to go inside the maze.....it was the maze itself that was SO congested with people and too many moments of standing around that scare actors quit trying to scare people because its the same people they have been trying to scare before. I get the front of the line every year because we like to take our time doing things and not rush
RandomHHNGuy
Ok so for the people who have seen The Purge: Anarchy, who do you think will be the main speaker in the front of the park from the movie? You know how last year was the leader of that group.
DTH316
There weren't any speaking villain roles that would work in Purge 2 other than the old lady at the end... but I just can't see that happening at HHN lol but its possible I suppose.
Kurseddragon
Someone said that fat bitch, but idk. Put the daughter up there. She's a villain in most people's eyes...
Mr.HHN
Actually the guy that Michael K. Williams plays could work as the baker and you could have the scarezone be a war zone! But other than that none of the villains really talk enough as the polite stranger from the first.

Doctor Jeffula
yeah.......we might do the early access this year because the opening scareamonies is now nothing to really stay for since this will be our 6th year and most the time my girlfriend can't see it (she's really short) Does anyone have any info on what the VIP will be like this year? Beside the usual buffet and drink stuff?

You know how last year was the leader of that group. Hard to say... Maybe Big Daddy, yeah, but he didn't have a lot of speaking and relied more on intimidating presence and the fact of who he was to do the work for him. Carmelo could be another option, as I can see him being a good barker, buuuut he's not really a villain-type.

Well we would be out on Purge night so he could assume we're purging which from our prospective would make him a villian
Zero56
Or Purge is moved to the Metropolitan sets and the Scarezone in NY Street is completely original.
