StraightEdge Posted July 20, 2014 Share Posted July 20, 2014 If we do get the AvP maze, I'll probably go like this: - entrance to the whaling station/pyramid - Alien Queen - Triple Predators scare - sacrificial chamber with Eggs/Facehugger scare - Celtic Predator vs. Grid Alien scare/ Grid Alien killing Gil Predator - flashback scene with Three Predators fighting those countless aliens xD - Scar Predator scare - Scar vs. Queen - Predalien chestburster and The Predators at the end of the film AvP:R - Predalien in ship scare/hanged predators skinned & the trophy room - Predator homeworld - sewers scare, power plant, pool & sporting good store - hospital with Predalien implanting eggs into the pregnant woman/babies room - Final Predalien vs. Predator fight scene ending the maze They better have "acid sprays", some type of "cloaking" 3D effect & Predator lasers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They used a projection mapping system for the V.I.P tour last year. With that tech available to them they can easily recreate the Predator uncloaking on the rooftop of the Whaling Station. https://youtu.be/ralwfcuE_Tg?t=38s At 0:38 you can see a similar effect being demonstrated by using Projection mapping. It's going to Orlando this year and looking at what Murdy has said about the Freak out maze it's going to have the most elaborate costumes they have ever done. Bone Yard Effects hired Steve Winsett who works in creature suit tech. (and his past history shows he specializes in Science Fiction.) Yes. 3 mazes (if you consider TT a Maze[yes I know it's technically in the Backlot but you enter from the Upper Lot]) on the Upper Lot, 2 on the Lower Lot and 3 in the Backlot. We have matched Orlando in terms of Attraction count. Eh, like in the construction photo of one of the Walls in 747, nothing in Cabin in the Woods had a rustic look to it of that size. I think part of the reason we're getting this is because Bill and Ted being gone frees up a lot of money to work with this year. I'm sure he'll do TrT next year and I hope it goes in the sound stage. Looking at the MiceChat update makes me think that this maze is going to be huge. Also, it is in Antarctica, so it should be very cold. The soundstage should make it easy to make the maze freezing cold in there. Yeah, the movie was awful, but that's doesn't mean that it can't be a good maze.
