5. House of 1000 Corpses 2010/11 - Amazing Facade with all the carnival posters.

4. Alice Cooper Goes to Hell 3D 2012 - One of the best because the ticket booth and very vibrant colors.

3. The Walking Dead: End of the Line - The atmosphere is amazing and is probably the most immersivimmersion facade.

2. Halloween 2009 - Incredible facade, looked just like the Myers house. One of the reasons this is my all time favorite.

1. The Walking Dead: Dead Inside 2012 - Best facade hands down! There's even a scare in it!

Honorable Mentions: TCM:BiB, The Thing, F13:CB, Saw

I'm surprised this ain't a thread already.

5) Friday the 13th: Camp Blood (the barn is nowhere near as detailed or massive as some of the mazes to come later, but it totally spoke to my inner fanboy)

4) Hostel: Hunting Season (chicks out front, smoke billowing out, people screaming, and a projection, also fairly detailed)

3) TCM:BIB (hearing the music and seeing the house before going in, I was absolutely terrified and felt like I was going to die. I've never had that feeling before a maze nor have i had it since the two years I went through it)

2) The Thing: Assimilation (pretty damn big and looked quite real)

1) The Walking Dead: Dead Inside (y'all already know lol)

Thought I might chime in uber late, just liked style haha

2009-2013

5. Halloween: The Life and Crimes of Michael Meyers - Who wasn't at least a little hesitant at the thought entering the Meyers house for the first time?

4. Black Sabbath 13 3D - The shear size and vibrancy in the facade made up for the downfalls of the maze. We haven't had anything like it.

3. Insidious: Into the Further - I remember when I first watched insidious I made fun of how "normal" the house looked and it couldn't be scary... I was wrong.

2. Walking Dead: Dead Inside - As cool as Cell Block C was to enter nothing beat stepping into the WWW Venue and seeing the hospital look over you and hear the distant growl of a walker in a smokey van.

1. Hostel: Hunting Season - Even though the maze was almost forgettable in the HHN canon, that facade never will be. It looked better than the sets in the movie, nuff said.

4. La Llorona 2011/12

3. Hostel

2. The Thing: Assimilation

1. The Walking Dead: No Safe Haven

2011 was the best year for facades.

^seriously they were. Silent hills facade was so good they kept it around for another year, can't get better than that!

Amen about 2011. That was almost our turning point year... It really was actually! Every facade that year was so intricately detailed. Think about it, Hostel WTMN La Lloronas beautiful church, the things insane arctic base. Damn you're making me miss those old mazes and venues! :(

I've only been going since 2012 and I barely remember that year. But to me,

Nothing tops that beautiful Twister facade. Though I wish they could've made it a little less PG and made it say Titty Twister and just cover up the sign during the day for the kiddies.

5. Insidious into the further- my favorite horror movie so just being outside the lambert house and hearing Elise right before I went in got me so excited.

4. The Thing Assimilation- the first house I ever went into, so this was my introduction to what hhn could produce and seeing the facade was fantastic, even though there was daylight outside, I felt like I was going to walk into an artic environment.

3. The Walking Dead: Dead Inside- seeing the huge hospital was amazing and the van scare was a great way to start off the night.

2. Hostel Hunting Season- this facade is fucking epic, I'll always remember the falling bricks effect along the front and this really looked like the entrance to a factory.

1. Alice Cooper Goes to Hell 3D- I Really Fucking Love This Facade, even without the 3D glasses on, it's still a cool facade, but with the glasses on, this becomes the coolest thing ever, and I really love this carnival type shit. Also this fits the house really well.
