Fun night!

A thank you to my grey child friend in Silent Hill that abducted me from the 'conga line' and took me away...:)

Also, another thank you to my Phantom of the Opera friend in House of Horrors for also abducting me.

We had a great time with the Traditionals. Had some interactions with Rosie's "twin", Chloe, and Zachary as well. Twas a good time.

Props to the traditional that made me empty my entire purse to show that I did not have any candy...

It's been fun this year! Can't wait for next year.

so many to thank.

ok so i will start with 2 excellent team leaders. Both worked at cooper. Team leaders Andy and Dan. These guys were the best! they helped us every night and went through the houses with us. they would take us through cooper, P&T, and house of horrors several times back to back. Heck, Andy held of his break cause he wanted to help us and go through the houses with us.

Ok, now for story time.

Fox girl encounter 2

Found some traditionals by the bakery bathroom ( the Me room as they called it), we asked them where the fox girl was.

Cat girl #1: "why do you want to find the fox girl?"

Cat girl #2: "yeah, she is mean! she takes our candy!"

They did point us in the right direction after we gave them some candy.

I soon found her after she ran after a guy. (Man, she is quick!) She was talking to a man with his face painted. she soon noticed me standing there.

Fox Girl: "TAKE A PICTURE IT WIL-" *i hold up a handful of candy* "Oooh, candy!"

We then talked a bit and gave her the rest of the candy in which she gave to the Op that was there. She had us point and laugh at the guy she was talking to cause he only brought her 1 piece of candy. so we gave all of the trick or treaters candy. But fox girl got the most of them all.

Alice Cooper

Major Props to cast A Jock!

We got in the house a couple minutes before it Officially opened to the others in pre-load, so we got to say bye to Cast A Jock and the others.

It also was cool being the first people through the house for the final night.

We came back later at 9 for our final run through.

Team leader Andy guided us through the backstage VIP path and came out from the

first door in the first hallway. scared a couple people on accident coming out.

Cast B did very good! We got to say bye to Carnage.

P&T did very well. glad to see KingK in there.

Bravo to all actors, hope to see you next year!

I LOVE the prisoners. They interacted with us a lot last night and were so much fun to talk to.

There was a tricker-treater that sat down next to me and talked to me. So cute and made me feel guilty for not bringing her candy.

And finally there was a stilt Inquitus who has been having a staring contest with me everytime I see him. So creepy and so fun.

OMG, you all rocked the park last night! Most intense night of the event. I love you, all my little trick or treaters, and of course I can't forget the vicious chainsaw prisoners who wouldn't even let me pause to wait for the hubby. Loved the warriors sneaking around in the bushes and queue lines too.

Alice, Alice, Alice, you're the house I already miss. Was happy to get to say goodbye to my favorite jock but sad that it's another house that passes into history. Got my best scare in Silent Hill; knife-wielding nurse was behind me, while I was totally oblivious till hubby made me turn, and I screamed like a maniac. Then she got me again! Dead End was packed with scares, and Penn & Teller was the most energetic I've ever seen it. I always love the slots room, and it was great fun to have Sigfried get in my face, then get double teamed by Roy and Elvis. My poor little Scratchy doll is still traumatized by all the maltreatment he received in Gothic. Gonna really miss good old House of Horrors, where the scareactors had stealth down to an art, and I loved the aggression of the zombies outside Walking Dead, who bounced me around like a pinball machine.

Overall, this was a "meh" year in terms of the whole event, but individual scareactors, houses and hoards turned what could have been a bust into some wonderful memories.

I got a hug from a chainsawer proving they aren't that vicious...she was so overwhelmed with getting a gift she was like I have to hug you...then she wished me a merry Christmas 1 more time and sent me on my way... :(

i love the looks from fellow guests you get when hugging. I got a hug from my favorite Cast A jock, and the people in front of me were looking back like WTF?!

I don't even know where to start. Regardless of where I may put HHN 22 on my list of "best of" events - this year, and especially last night, will go down as my personal favorite, most rewarding, joyful, and touching year of any since I started attending in '97. This is 100% because of all of you.

To SH and DE - I didn't spend as much time in these houses as I would have liked, but I appreciate every scare and shout out. I had fun in both, and I'm so glad I got to see you the times I did manage.

To HOH, thanks for all the classic screams; air hose mummy, our wonderfully attacking bride, all our wonderful Frankenstein monsters, charging and otherwise, and everyone in the finale, every time. It was a joy to see this house blossom, and this is completely because of everyone in this house.

To P&T, thanks for all the laughs, giggles, snorts, shoutouts and fun. I had trouble with the 3D glasses this year, so I'm so very grateful that life is in 3D as well! Sarmoti, Love Live the King, and clowns still scare the holy crap out of me.

TWD - you gave me tons of attention and scares in what I'm sure was a challenging year. The gauntlet is the eighth wonder of the world. My absolute favorite dark haired walker still totally rocks donkey socks. And I want my door.

Gothic - so many congrats on HOTY, you did an amazing job all through the run. Thanks for always providing me safe passage, and for making me feel like one of you. Considering I haven't been stoned since 1977 (please note expiration of statute of limitations), that's a pretty significant achievement. Through the towers and spires, it has been my privilege to share this event with you.

Alice - I don't think I have any words left. If I'm doing my math correctly, there should be about 38 actors who deserve a boa constrictor size hug from the bottom of my toes. Psycho Stevens, my nurses and doctor, Black Widows, Mom and Dad, my sweetheart jock and cheerleader, subsequent dead jock and dad, Ethyl, ceiling gentleman that performed a successful tonsillectomy, Heart of my Hearts Alice, finale Alice and Steven, and also my ultimate showmen of showmen: Thank you. Thank you for the gifts of scares, attention, affection and all the others. For a dark house, you brought a stunning amount of sunshine into my life. You really are all Rock Stars.

To the Beasts: Congratulations on SOTY. I had the best time being stalked by you, and your aggression has been stunning. And a total hoot to watch when you're doing it to someone else.

Warriors - I didn't get to spend nearly enough time with you this year, but the time I spent was an absolute blast. You were all on fire every night, and one of my biggest regrets is never taking a photo with any of you in character. The scares were fabulous, and I totally have no issue with the leather pants. Or denim that looks like leather. Where is my ice water and fan...?

Street Walkers - there's no way to say that and not make it sound... wrong. You all did a fabulous job of blending into the insane crowds, providing top notch scares and entertainment, and keeping the whole zombie/walker vibe going. It was a blast just sitting and watching your work, and I send extra hugs to my two special walkers that attacked me all event long. I will have to get that infected bite taken care of, first - while I give in to this sudden desire for whole brain pasta.

My fellow Strengoit - I also didn't spend enough time with you this year. You were always on top of the scares, and GREAT attention to vampire detail - whether day or night. Thanks for including me as one of you, and thanks for deciding that my blood is even more aromatic than Bella blood. A special shout out to my favorite rat lady escort, whose interaction made this year even more fun and special. <3 Children of the night, thank you for your beautiful music.

Ah, the ladies of the saw - you offered to both remove pesky unnecessary limbs, and provide replacements from the General Public. I have loved all our chainsaws over the years, but the energy and attitude you brought this year was first rate. You did a FABULOUS job, and I couldn't have been happier with all the jabs and taunts. And belches. I truly loved hanging with you this year.

Our Traditionals - I honestly loved every last one of you. Rosie, fox boy, and my dear sweet ballerina were just a few of the trick or treaters, witches, vamps, ogres, pumpkinheads, and all manner of creatures that I may not have figured what they were, but still loved the heck out of. You gave us, the fans, so many amazing experiences, I'm sure a book will be written. Candy for everyone (including Nature's Candy), and I PROMISE to get my seance on this time next year. And Uncle Fred will be watching over you all as well.

To the Iniquitus - I loved your interaction, whether being constantly asked for photos, or working the crowds. You gave an overarching menace to the streets and year, and I loved hanging out with you. All of you, with a special shoutout to my Reaper in Hollywood who never failed to approach, apprise, and then scare the crap out of me.

You all are this event. No matter how much or how little support you are given, you bring the life - or un-death - to HHN. I salute all of you, and eagerly anticipate 23.

Now go take a nap. Love you all :)

And Scarecrow, I'll miss you most of all <3

A tremendous job well done by all scareactors this year!!! 2012 should go down in history as The Year of the Scareactor.

In my fawning over Rosie, I have neglected to mention the utterly fabulous Sophia, a true standout among the Vampires. She was always absolutely magnificent. (I really hate having to use past tense now... is it September yet?)

Also I big Thank You for my final scareactor experience of HHN 22. As we were walking out after the final Bill & Ted, we had to walk through San Francisco where they kept the Walker scarezone going until the final guests had exited The Walking Dead house. A female zombie ( I think it was Mary, if I am wrong please forgive me.) got right up in my face and then, instead of growling or snapping said " I love you, Dr. Jimmy".

I actually got a bit choked up, and sputtered back "I love you too, you have all done such a marvelous job this year."

Thus HHN 22 ended for me on a really sweet and personal note.

Thanks to all of you, you have really raised the bar of scareactor performance for next year!

Just want to add my sincerest love and congratulations to all the scareactors this year. Cast A Pyramid Head, thank you for recreating the most epic scare I ever had then giving me a thumbs up. Cast A Alice Cooper jock, I will always remember the hand hearts and kisses blown and caught. Cast A ceiling guy, thanks for the Happy Halloween followed by a full performance of your traditional attack on me. My chainsaw girls, I was so sorry not to have caught up with you last night--of all the chainsaws I've loved over the years, you girls are at the top of the list. Cast A vampires, I only caught you for a fleeting moment last night, but thank you all for the personalized goodbyes.

I agree that this was definitely the Year of the Scareactor. Though I bonded with some of you more than others on an individual basis, I never saw a single person who was not putting their absolute heart and soul into the experience. You guys are truly the reason that we all return year after year, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Now go get some rest, and I'll see you all next year!

Warriors - You guys were my favorite. Sure, I like the outfits, but I seriously never saw another legion move as much as you guys did. Loved the guys crawling around on all fours. The coordinator last night was going to try to get one to do it for me again, but I sadly had to leave and visit houses one last time. Sad I missed it. Through four years of attending practically every FFP night with Jenn, you guys were the first (and only) ones to make her scream. Special appreciation to Mikey for being my "favorite of favorites" for two years now.

Vampires - My second favorite of the legions. I saw lots of good energy here every night as well. The vampire with the jacket that has a leopard print collar was my favorite. Thanks for all the special attention and the flower.

Traditionals - It took to pretty late in the game to see why you were the fan favorite. But, I totally get it now. Loved owl boy, Valdez, Chloe (the blonde fox), and of course, Rosie.

Alice Cooper - Jock, Cast A. Thanks for always showing us love. We came through last night looking for you, and we ended up missing you.

To be continued...

First I have some shoutouts from last night.

The police man from the Walking Dead at around 6:30. One of the most aggressive scareactors ive seen all year. good work.

The first actor in the flashing lights room at Penn and Teller around 7. Best scare of the night, jumped a mile out of my shoes.

The clown hanging around the corner in Penn and Teller at the same time. Good work. Totally had forgotten you were there.

And finally the tunnel mummy from House of Horrors. I hadnt seen you at all this year and your prescence sent chills. Good job.

Thanks to all the scareactors who helped make this year possible. See you next year.

I would like to thank all of YOU who have given me an awesome 6 years of scaring. I said last year was going to be my last year, but I came back one more time to scare. This year is my LAST year and I'm sticking to my guns on that one.

Thank you to everybody who walked through your dreams in Nightmare on Elm Street, faced the evil queen in Scary Tales III, went up to Carey, Ohio and ate some delicious meets in Leave it to Cleaver, met the Wolfman in 20 Years of Fear, tried your luck with the Spade Minions in Your Luck Has Run Out, and finally faced the walkers in The Walking Dead.

I appreciate all of the spooks and scares I was able to give everybody.

Thank you all.

So much greatness this year, I'll try to keep it short....

Alice Cooper- last house of the year for myself and my wife, you guys made it special. The nurse in her "frozen" pose still managed to sneak in a thumbs up for my alice shirt. Sack head scared Jen good, she told him great job, and he straightened his "tie" to show how proud he was. The infamous cast A jock gve us a sad goodbye wave when we left his room. And of course the showman tried one last time to grab jen's face. Thanks guys. My most anticipated house has now become my favorite house.

Beasts- you guys were amazing all year. standout moments are the night you decided you were allergic to jen and started sneezing, the tardis hat keep-away game, the 4 beasts and 1 iniquitus team up, and of course the epic under the bench scare. Glad one of you got to try on Jen's hat. Special thanks to green shawl (Turk?) who always jumped up and down like crazy when he saw us. I think we'll miss you most of all :(congrats on SOTY!

Traditionals- Owl boy, thanks for all the ill-gotten gifts, and the hugs. Sorry we didn't see your sets on halloween, there were just too many people to say goodbye to. Blond fox girl and fox boy, thanks for the hugs and all the times you cracked us up. Can't forget our witches, scarecows, pumpkins, and ogres. the park will be a sadder place without the sound of cowbells...

Trick or treaters and zombies- I hope you guys all know what a great job you did and how many screams you induced this year. you took your small spaces and made them your own. wonderful job!

walkers- loved watching you guys. I'll never forget when we went in TWD practically alone and when we exited. the whole bunch of you did a slow turn and formed an undead gauntlet. I still get chills...

Vampires- thanks for always making us feel like total rock stars. We loved talking to you and loved being scared by you (sometimes at the same time). Visiting your sets truly felt like meeting up with close friends. We will miss each and every one of you. Thank you for all the attention, the hugs, and the amazing group scare on the bench on halloween, that was nuts! We will miss Sophia, Sara Lee, Nosferatu, and everyone else, I so wish we had learned all your names. I'll make sure to donate blood in your honor!

Prisoners- I loved "accidentally" walking past you girls as you traveled to your sets. So much anger, I hope you all cheer up by Christmas :) I get the feeling the boys will only get the chainsaws back next year when they pry them from your cold dead fingers...

Warriors- I don't even have the words. I feel like we grew up with you guys throughout the event. We loved our bench in central park because we could watch you guys, you loved the bench because you always knew where to find us. Thank you so much for the epic group scare on halloween. I swear, you all just appeared out of nowhere. Thanks for every jump out of the bush scare. every growl from behind, and the time 3 of you ambushed us in CP and I dropped to the pavement. We'll especially miss our hand hearts friend and our spiky haired friend. You guys made an already great event an over the top event. Also, a special thanks to Cast B- guys, we're so sorry we discovered you so late. thanks for making it up in scares.

I can't forget our rat escort, E_Z_E. Loved getting to know you over the event! thanks for repeatedly freaking out Jen, thanks for all the verbal abuse, and thanks for the cookie. If a scareactor next year hands Jen half a cookie, I'm gonna laugh my butt off. We'll miss you immensely.

P.S.- the event's over, you can blink now :)

A special thanks from Jen's tardis hat for the most fun it's ever had. Hung on a lamp post, plunked on a fireplug, stuffed in a coat, viciously pilfered and thrown about by beasts, and worn by a vampire and a beast. I don't know how we'll get the smell of beast, blood and rat out....

Thank you all so much. you've touched our lives more than you'll ever know. We'll miss you all!

I think I might be with you on the retirement thing. 5 years of this and it was AWESOME!! I am considering making one more run next year only if I'm in a street for thats the only thing I have yet to experience. But if I go out this year I went out with a BANG! House of the Year AND Scareactor of the Year for Gothic!

But I want to shout out to all of my fellow scareactors and especially to you guys on here who come see us and make it worth doing! Thank you to all the Gothic fans and fans of the Brotherhood of the Bell!
