What can I say about this zone. At first I was so skeptical and didnt think this could get pulled off. But boy was I wrong. This is by far scarezone of the year. I always get scares. Usually from the pink gentlemen get me everytime. Tonight was especially awesome that I had my younger sister and her friend. Everyone in the zone targeted them and you guys literally chased the out of the zone. I try to go through 3 or 4 times a night. One night I might just spend my whole evening there thats how much I love it.

God, this zone was AMAZING. I loved the idea, and they really worked with the potential it had.

This was my first year, so I have no idea about which cast was which or anything. It was Sept 24 at around 10pm if that helps?

Chainsaw guy would not leave me alone, so SO awesome. And I was trying to film the girls which made me a super easy mark for the wandering scareactors, lol.

I honestly could have stayed here for hours, and it's a shame I only saw a bit of the "transformation."

Gluttony? You were ROCKING MY WORLD OMG.

Only went through once throughout the night, and I'm extremely upset. I had NO IDEA they changed like that! I can't wait to go back and see that! But yes, to add on to some of these comments, great scares! The casts are AMAZING here! But please people, if you want to take pictures of the girls MOVE TO THE SIDES OF THE STAGES SO PEOPLE CAN WALK!!! it was a trainwreck watching everyone and there mother trying to take pictures, clumping the middle of the streets.

Great job though, cast! Best scarezone cast of the night for me!

This is another top notch zone this year. I actually enjoyed the Minions more than the actual sins. Don't get me wrong, the sins are fascinating to watch, but they can't really scare guests. the minions however, wow. They produce a good deal of scares and they are EVERYWHERE! Overall, a great zone.

8.5/10

Speaking of the minions, I was trying to figure out what they were "suffering from," or however you'd put it... Some were obviously not hard to guess at.

Lust - Almost looks like the minions are in the final throes of a sexually transmitted disease, like syphillis, which I spelled wrong but am too lazy to spellcheck?

Sloth - Er.... zombies, maybe? That's more or less what it looked like.

Wrath - AWESOME CHAINSAW GUYS

Vanity - Plastic surgery gone horribly wrong

Greed - Puking up cash

Gluttony - Puking up... puke

Envy - Snake guys? You guys were great, btw, loved how possesive you were of your sin.

Please jump in if you can clarify anything

Also, was I the only one who immediately thought "Holy crap, Wrath has apparently won the Game of Thrones?"

But please people, if you want to take pictures of the girls MOVE TO THE SIDES OF THE STAGES SO PEOPLE CAN WALK!!! it was a trainwreck watching everyone and there mother trying to take pictures, clumping the middle of the streets.

WORD. The girls seem to play to you more if you're off to the side anyway, and if you're not DIRECTLY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAMN STREET it allows the scareactors to stalk you without crowds getting in the way!

I'd like to add: if you want a photo in front of the girls, could you maybe take the photo and, you know, move? And not stand directly in front of them for the next ten minutes?

Nothing but love for this scarezone. The Sins were really into their roles, and some of them would attempt to distract you so their minions could move in for scares. Great interaction between the Sins and minions too. As for the minions, my goodness... so much energy! How do they keep it up, night after night? I swear they were going after anyone within reach! I came through here at least three times a night, and every time, I had at least one scareactor go after me... usually more than one! Three of those times, I had at least one of every minion scare me. It was crazy, but I loved it! Man, I was SO bummed when it rained all night on Saturday (the 8th) and I couldn't play in here. Scareactors, I'm sorry if I came through too much on Sunday... but I *loved* your street, and I was worried to death that it would rain again and I wouldn't get to see you before my run was over. :( Keep up the great work, and I hope you take Street of the Year.

This is the best zone ever, seriously. My "general public" friend, who has only attended previously in 2009, thought it was absolutely brilliant in every way.

I can't wait to write up a big praise-filled wall o` text on this zone on exactly why it worked so damn well for my big year-review. To BOTH casts in this zone... just, fantastic. I'd say keep it up, but you've been stellar on all of my runs for the last 3 weeks, so I'm not worried about you now. Street of the Year - make it happen.

It's funny how this went from my least anticipated scarezone to my favorite. 7 is the perfect example of why a great cast full of energy (and both of them are) is way more important than scenery or theming when it comes to a scarezone. Fallow, I'm looking forward to reading your wall of praise for this zone after the event.

I can't wait to go here on closing weekend when I go back to HHN, since it won't be opening weekend and I won't be trying to hit as many houses as possible, I get to spend some fun time in 7.

Yes, I must admit I really disliked this zone due to the lack of props and lack of songs, well, I just didn't like it, and This zone is growing on me fast, is becoming one of my favorites,

is funny my favorite zone was grown evil and now that is slowly changing, there's not as much going on there lol

anyways, i have t agree with all of you guys, the actors in this zone just totally bring it, I was able to sit and rest a little near this zone and, yeah the minions scare, the minions dance, the sins girls dance, LOVE it, is just such a great feeling overall, and so much energy omg, the minions don't stop, the Sloth minions are crazy, and the greed and lust minions dancing, priceless,

everyone in this zone, you guys are doing an amazing job, Like Jumbo said, he is right,

really love this zone now, I mean the actors made me change my opinion on this zone, that's how awesome they are

This zone has shocked me. From being near the bottom to kicking so much ass last week. On Sunday I sat and watched both cast about 2-3 times. While one cast has better women dancers. The other cast has better minions (LEAPFROG!) All and all this zone is near my number #1.

The Sloth's minions are some of the best hands down actors I've seen at this event this year.

I don't know how they do it. Their body movements are so contorted and bizarre and yet they can move with such speed and proficiency... they rack up 3 scares every 5 seconds in how effing fast and effective they are. These guys deserve Street Actors of the Year.

(Though there isn't a single actor in this zone that I could complain about. They're all brilliant, though I have a particular liking for the Vanities... they have so much fun whispering and growling in peoples' ears.)

I cannot believe how outstanding this zone is. It started out the event being high energy and fabulous, and still continues to get better each night I go. I would agree that this is one of the best zones I’ve encountered in my years going, and since the actors still continue to ramp up, I can’t imagine how crazy it will be by Halloween.

I love both casts very much, and I want to try to remember all my kudos for this zone. I have special great interactions with Gluttony minion in Cast A, Lust minion in A & B, all the Vanity minions both A & B. Also one of the Wrath minions in Cast B is my “bud” now (lol) – so much fun to watch and chat with! (btw, I’ve decided that the Wrath minions are very close to the Conquistadors in terms of being omnomnom). I also have the Sloth minion who gives regular shout outs to Uncle Fred – I don’t know which cast, I can never tell who’s who until he says something ;).

I think all the Sins are terrific, both casts. I would really like to interact with them more, but I feel like if I do, it’d be kinda, I dunno, creepy? In the wrong way? Anyway, I do want to give special applause to Cast B Wrath – one of my sittin’ spots is across from her stage, and by the end of the night she is crazy nuts wild – dancing, screaming, scaring guests.. perfectly Wrathful. Love it.

I get so much good interaction with me and the chair, scares, Nightmares shoutouts, EVERYTHING, and I have a hard time remembering all the specifics and who did what. All you actors here, please know how much I love what everyone does here. This is a strong contender for where I want to close out Halloween night.

Last night, I actually sat in this zone for an hour and a half I believe. I saw both casts! The crazy sloth zombies are amazing! Yay leapfrog! One of them saw a wheelchair, got on his knees, and starting shuffling on them along with the wheelchair! I loved the way they do their cast switches. Each minions with their sin, escorting them to their places. One of the red robed guys keeps growling or snarling at me. I have no idea if I know him or it's just because of my HNN shirt. The women know their roles! I love how they interact with their minions according to their sin. I visited the zone again around 11:15ish and as I was leaving toward the chainsaws, one the Gluttony guys gave a piece of his "food" (vomit, maybe?) that was on their face/costume... Very random but it cracked me up.

Thank you! We have both been working this event for 6 years now and together it makes a perfect pair for constant scares and antics.

-Sloth minions B

It's a special move they only do every so often. I'm going to try to take video of it this week.

Please find me when you get a video of it (FB-chris turckey) or post the link up on here. I kind of want to see what it looks like from the outside. : D : D : D

^^According to legend, people who commit the sin of "Lust" must walk through a path of fire and brimstone.

Presumably, Lust and her minions are burnt by the flames of their passions.

As for the Sin of Wrath, the angry are dismembered alive. So I guess that's why they use Chainsaws.

Note that these are the original punishments for the Seven Deadly Sin in Catholic Mythology:

The punishment of Sloth is to be thrown into a pit of venomous snakes, for some reason they associated that with Envy on the Scare Zone.

The punishment of Envy is to thrown of into a lake of freezing water.

The punishment of Vanity is to be "broken" on a wheel (think of Ixion's punishment in Greek mythology).

The punishment of Avarice is to be dipped into molten gold.

The punishment of Gluttony is to be force fed toads, snakes, and insects.
