http://hhncrypt.com/ has an image of the card sent out to the 21 lucky Facebook winners.

Did a quick look through the thread and didn't see it, so hopefully this wasn't already posted.

I just keep remembering them saying last year that they never forgot an old idea. By that rationale, and the fact that this quote uses the word fate, I have to believe that maybe some incarnation of fate is the icon. I guess this could tie in with Lady Luck, but I feel it is more fate than luck right now.

The rabbit's foot thing might have a lot to do with the hand. Think about it...what if the icon takes appendages for good luck? A rabbit's foot didn't bring him very much luck, but a man's hand may have at one point.

Though that would remind me too much of HoS's Silvie of last year that took fingers as a prize.

On the card with the instructions for the Cemetery game there is a house drawn on it.

Do you think this could be a return of the Wyandot Estate?

Possibly back in time when the people there were turned into the spirits?

Nvm, upon further inspection it looks like a cemetery as well.

Also, Q and Z are missing from the alphabet on the phone where you select the television game.

There is a note stating that there are 2 job offers. 1 (the level that causes you to lose 30 coins) is a Taxadermy Company (Oddly specific, Psycho?)

Line 2 is a television station.

This is a speculation I have been contemplating for awhile, time to let others see how they feel about it.

Way back when, when speculation first began, there was talk of a house based on E. A. Poe’s work. With HOS announcing their own Poe house, speculation died down and it was assumed we would not get one. I, now, believe we were mistaken.

When the clues from our mutual friend began to come, it was noted that they were arriving in couplet form. This inevitably led my mind back to thoughts of Poe. And I feel that there is a strong likelihood that we shall see a Poe house in Sprung Tent 2.

The following roles are from HHNRumors.com. The interpretations are mine.

Link: http://www.hhnrumors.com/?x=casting

Sprung Tent 2:

Blackjack Dealer – As has been mentioned by others, a blackjack can be a weapon. It is a baton that has been used by law enforcement. My spec for this role is a character from “The Murders in the Rue Morgue”.

Bug Eye – a character from “the Tell-Tale Heart”. The old man with the vulture eyes perhaps?

Seagull – Birds of a feather? Could this be our Raven? Poe also wrote several short stories with nautical themes.

Wing – This, too, could be The Raven. I shall have to think more on it.

Cards – This makes me thinks of “The Fall of the House of Usher”.

Interrogator – “The Pit and The Pendulum”

Aristo Dead – Fortunato from “The Cask of Amontillado or Prospero from “The Masque of the Red Death”.

Writer – Mr. E. A. Poe Himself.

We've still got so little information to go on for some of these house themes. There have been 5 clues so far from Our Mutual Friend, and from what we're guessing the locations left to be explained are both the tents and SS23B. I wouldn't put it past Universal to prolong Sprung Tent #2's reveal the longest, just judging form the toss up that's developed over its code names. I think both theories are fair interpenetration, the couplet meeter is a clue in and of itself vs. the couplet meeter is simply a uniform means of divulge clues. Whether it's a casino (and an icon house or not) or a Poe house, the only real scale-tipping factors are going to be either getting a FaceBook "Hint" update or a new website game regarding it, or seeing the set of clues explicitly conclude with 7 instead of 8 stanzas. This house might end up being the strongest mislead of the entire event.

Thinking about the speculation of a “Chinese New Year” scarezone this year got me thinking. We know a couple of the roles for New York/Sting Alley, and we believe the Rat Lady may be there as well. What if the “roles” tie to the animals in the Chinese Zodiac, which starts with the year of the Rat.

Each Animal and Year is typically given a personality/emotion that specifically describes it. The Rabbit could be considered “Sweet,” or “Happy.” The Horse, similarly could be considered, “Happy.” The Dragon, Rat, or Tiger could all be considered, “Angry,” because they are more aggressive. Even if Francisco and Lego are not actually for houses instead (which is possible) they could be related to actual pets (like Dogs, Horses, Snakes) that members of A&D have.

I’m starting to think the Chinese New Year would fit Sting Alley better. Just imagine paper lanterns flickering above you.

Here is a thought.

We've heard the facade to Disaster! is a line of house/apartments (which kind of look a little hillbillyish). Trying to rack my brain how all those different rooms come together and fit with the production equipment and the outside facade...

Perhaps it is something like the movie "Stay Tuned" where John Ritter and family are sucked into a hellish TV and have to survive a gauntlet of twisted versions of TV shows they find themselves in... In this case B horror films.

that would account for all the randomness of the rooms, production equipment, and the facade (as you are sucked into the TV)... also the game on the site Channel Surfing (with the TVs)... Anyway just a thought.

That sounds really interesting...I know that in that same film there was a commercial for a movie called "Leave It To Cleaver"; which is just random

Hmmm, thats a juicy tidbit of info right there.

A Stay Tuned-type (horror based) house would be awesome and allow Universal a lot of liberties when it comes to variety.

I hope that speculation comes true :-)

It may be juicy, but don't be too excited about how informative it may be.

well from wat ive heard from people is that there will be a nusery based house, and my cousins down there told me that they had a psycho scarerapy christmas or sumthin? n ive seen pictures of christmas trees and stuff

The facts:

23B has a role named "Nurse." This is likely a codename that has little to nothing about the actual role. It might make sense once we find out the actual role... it might not. "Nurse" does not have to literally mean "nurse."

Yes, they did a Psychoscarepy: Home for the Holidays house in 2007. Psychoscarepy will not be back. It is part of the previous era of HHN, and it's also be done four times. Time to move on.

Also - HHN Orlando has been known to do sequels or prequels, but they never repeat a house literally. So although there seems to be a Christmas room in Disaster, it will NOT be Home For the Holidays all over again.

That's all pretty good Jeramy except for a couple things. As I understand it Lucy will most likely be in area where the mirror people were in 2008.

Also I would like to point out that it's pretty well confirmed Rat Lady will be in New York and the NY scarezone will mostly be in Sting Alley.

The rune game seems to refer to our Sprung Tent - it links up perfectly with the tweeted demon picture. Upon beating the rune game you're greeted with a very dragon-like roar. The card with the instructions seems to depict a castle on some cliffs. I'm excited... Also, on the shelves in the first stage of the game, several statues of dragons or otherwise demonic beasts...

Based on the website update that we got tonight, I've got two new perceptions for speculation. First is about the Rune game, which I'm presuming is related to Sprung Tent #1 and the first picture from the Hints section of the FaceBook page. I think it's possible that this house could begin similarly to how Dead Exposure did, as in you're introduced to the main character of the house's story arc, like Charlie, before you're exposed to the forces that have been unleashed around him. Perhaps this is a professor or college researcher who has been studying some kind of ancient demon or even evil realm? This really reminded me of the doctor in The Evil Dead who translated the text of the Necronomicon and then tape-recorded its incantations. You don't actually get to see him in the movie though. My guess is that a back story along these lines could explain the "Exam Answer Keys" option when trying to begin the house's game. Second, there's the sounds of children playing in the background on the Horizon's aptitude test screen. Even though the words are inaudible, it still doesn't sound like they're speaking English. The track could be jumbled intentionally though. And I'm not sure how this exactly relates to a Utopian society or the seemingly cult like beliefs on that survey. I just found it interesting that of all the noises Universal could have chosen to have playing, they choose one that sounded like a daycare or preschool. The symbols are interesting too: Fire, Water, Wind, Blood or Earth, Death, and People/Flesh?

I agree with you there. In addition to what you said, does anyone kinda feel like these games are starting to mimic a little bit of last years themes? I mean, I instantly starting thinking Orphanage, Saws n' Steam, The Coven.

Now, I'm not saying last year is related to this year, but I do see some strange resemblance. Also, Rick Spencer posted on is FB page that, "Things are getting more confusing, don't you think? Or, don't you?"

Is it extremely possible that we are being given info that may or may not even come close to the event? Also, I noticed that someone from the rumors site posted about the ferris wheel from Carnival of Carnage, that can be found in one of the photos which appears after picking the right card. Could it be that we are being toyed with, so to speak?

I think it pretty self explanatory that The Machine is Saws and Steam. Water, steam, steampunk, pretty much the same psychobabble that the podium barker belted out last year.

I don't think anything is misleading here. The games match the houses. They aren't making up games just to mess with us... The Ferris wheel is just an Easter egg for us fans.

No doubt that the games match the houses.

But, what about the connection to last year. The whole True and False paper that you answer the last question. Is that not infact tieing last years Orphanage house in this years house in the Jaws queue?

I don't get that at all. To me it is more like a prequel to Saws and Steam. The initial recruiting before the complete breakdown of society. Children and school/questionnaire don't connect orphanage and Cindy in my head.

Anyway here is just the children if you want to hear it. Definitely not English.

Agreed.

Also: On the question: True or False, no one has ever left after being accepted into the society (paraphrasing there, obviously).

The answer is True.

Wanna bet it's because they've all been killed? Seems like we're getting tricked into joining this Utopian society where we're likely just being recruited for our bodies.
