  1. Sounds a lot like what I did back in '08.
  2. For the past few years the auditions have been held on Tuesday's beginning at 6pm. The 1st open audition has been on the 2nd Tuesday of July most recently.
  3. Yep, that's what I have been thinking as well.
  4. In Legacy's latest version, the queue for Sprung 1 looks like it would actually be a shorter walk than what we have experienced for the past couple of years. This version also avoids having upwards of four houses exiting into KidZone. Combining Jeramy and Legacy's last two ideas, I see a very functional queue scenario for the Parade maze(s) and the Sprung tents.
  5. I remember going in that way, or a close variation of the "blue queue", in '06 and/or '07 (can't quite remember) but I can't recall where the queue exited.
  6. I could see this working for the most part, but man that is quite a walk to enter Sprung 1 or 2 and then go back to do the other Sprung. I would assume that the entrance to the Parade #2 maze would start back near E.T. - so that walk is actually quite long.
  7. If it is a tall facade, you may be able to get a look at it from over between Barney and the Woody roller-coaster.
  8. Good point, and getting to the backside of the Parade building is easier said than done.
  9. That leaves 2 doors in the front of B-79, 1 on the side and 2 in the back for possible entrances/exits.
  10. I believe that the latest call-time for actors is usually 7:00 or 7:15pm. The earliest call-time is usually 4:45pm. As with having a more open availability, the earlier you can start each night will allow for a better chance at being hired (more available roles to get cast in). Just make sure you plan time for your commute as well as time to find a parking spot and walk to your sign-in location which could be quite a hike from where you park, when you fill out your earliest availability.
  11. Calm down there buddy. I was just making an observation. I don't doubt their "abilities".
  12. Does anyone else think that the construction seen at Sprung 2 seems very modest for a maze entrance/facade?
  13. If the "facade" we are looking at is actually the exit (using the same exit door as in year's past) and the queue lines stay the same, guests will have to make a 180 degree rotation to their left in order to exit the "normal" way.
  14. In general, the more open your availability is (combined with auditioning early and often if needed) the better your chances of getting hired are. Like Tman said, make sure you are honest. Also, if you know any dates that you will need off, mark those down at the auditions. If you are looking for full-time, I would not suggest requesting more than 2 nights off. Active Back-up roles are handed out once all of the Firecrew employees are placed in their roles. Firecrew employees have been known to have been asked to fill in full-time for someone who has either quit/been injured/been fired. Lastly, for the past few years, as an ABU employee you are REQUIRED to show up for work (whether you get placed in a role or not) for at least 5 nights. This number is subject to change.
  15. I don't see the reason to change anything with the normal Parade maze (#1) queue in your scenario. They could just keep it the same as in year's past with the same result, could they not? They've used doublebacks for Sprung 1 on the road before and have also done so back by the Hard Rock Hotel as well. I do understand what you're saying though.
  16. Yeah, what Legacy shows for Sprung Tent 2 looks to be what they usually use for the Express entrance. Also, I don't know if the queues for the Sprungs that Legacy mapped out would allow for the amount of people that will be standing in line when the wait reaches 60mins+.
  17. Also, as has already been implied, to add more fuel to the 2 houses in the Parade building idea... why would they mess with the queue flow at this point? Has anyone heard of any problems with the current (past years) setup?
  18. I agree, but I also think that they could have 2 maze entrances at the front of the Parade building. They could use the normal Parade maze queue and have that maze enter through where Hallow'd Past/Silver Screams did. Then, they could either use a Curious George queue leading around to the back of the Parade building and then along the side of it (where the Sprung 1 queues usually extend) or they could use the normal Sprung 1 queue and just have the guests make a right down towards the Hard Rock. In either case, they "could" use the Hallow'd Past/Silver Screams exit door as the entrance to the "new" maze and then have both of the Parade mazes exit through the door that was used as the entrance to Scary Tales in '08. Many, many options here.
  19. In any event, the crowd flow seems like it will be vastly different around (at least) Sprung 2.
  20. So, putting together some free time and my awful "photoshop" skills, here is what I believe we are looking at: The yellow line represents the angle along which the photo was taken. Am I close Cavalry?
  21. The Parade building has 6 "doors" that can be used for entrances/exits. 3 in the front (where we normally enter/exit), 2 in the rear and 1 on the side. I don't see them using the side door, but you never know. As far as entering/exiting in the rear, it seems that having the queue wind through the Curious George area could work rather than starting all the way back in Hollywood. The queue could also extend all the way down in the direction of the Hard Rock hotel. There are many options here, but they all involve a LOT of walking.
  22. And as Jeramy effortlessly put his images together, I was busy making these.... And from a different angle:
  23. Oh, is it? Aren't the normal "out doors" for both tents in relatively the same position? In either case, the placement is odd. FYI: Sprung 1 = Catacombs, Chucky, Hallow, etc. Sprung 2 = Havoc, Spawning, Dead Exposure, etc.
