Wonderful horde! watched these guys for at least an hour on sunday! Love the interaction they bring! Makes me proud to be a Morphan!

I went on thurs but sadly no streets because of the rain but.... I went last night 10/7 and the streets were amazing!! so here are shoutouts! Traditionals: Pumpkinhead who pointed at my Daniel Bryan shirt and did the pose and thumbs up! The crazy cat who kept scaring me by coming behind me and meowing and pointing at my shirt and holding a great in character convo The Fox who is complete bonkers and i love it! I watched Traditionals for ages in central park and they were great! very well done to all of you! Vampires: I was sitting on a bench and a vampire came and jumped on the bench and just stared at me for a good minute! you sir creeped me out! Prisoners: You lady's are insane and incredibly good at what you do! all of you were on point!! The Walkers: Wheelchair zombie, you scared the hell out of me by speeding at me then stopping to growl!

So I know there are like a million event reviews but it never hurts to have one more right! I attended on October 14th with none other than my Dad. This is because my girlfriend went one year and completly freaked out. So i left her and my Mum to go hang out at Citywalk. I am from the UK and the 14th was my one and only chance of going to HHN this year. So in the Day we did Universal Studios as we had a Stay and Scream ticket. We also did the UTH Tour which my girlfriend and Mum attended and was great! Massive thanks to the guys that showed us around. I suggest that everyone do this tour! I wanted to do it as my Dad had no idea what was going on and he needed to be shown the backstory of HHN. We also got a bonus of going round Hallow'd Past as the Legendary Truth house was out of bounds that day.. Anyway with the ladies out of the park we headed to our holding zone near the Mummy ride, and was suprised that we got let out at 6pm. Everyone headed the same way so we followed. As Hades and Psychoscareapy were not open yet everyone piled into Legendary Truth like a bunch of ants. The regular queue was already pretty big even tho we had just been let out, so we used our Express Pass! This express pass was the best thing i have ever brought, even at $59.99. If we didnt buy this pass we would have only done a few houses and i would have been pissed off. Legendary Truth: This house was definatly all about timing. The facade of this house is amazing, I was really surprised when i saw it in person. My dad went infront of me and he got a great scare on the first corner! We saw the ghost in the floor which was a very unique scare and glad i saw that. The bed scare was also pretty good and got me as i walked through. The thing that i noticed throughout the event is the constant use of the scareactor triggers that when pressed set off an almighty noise. I dont mind them doing this but i can see why some people dont like it. We did not see the disappearing wall or the Chair scare. The room with the statues was pretty good tho. Alot of people complained about the masks and I went into this house thinking that i would hate this house but infact i didnt mind the masks, i thought it was creepy. Scares:3/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Overall: 4/5 After this house we went straight to Hades: We walked through this house in the UTH tour and it was very impressive with the lights on. The only thing is you cant see all the great details of this house as its so dark. (not that im complaining,) The facade to this house looked great with the effects on and man did this house scare me or what! I was wanting this house to end and get out but the house felt so long. Medusa was amazing, I just stood in shock! And the massive tall dude whatever he was, when he came out i was in awe of his size. Lots of winding paths and the scene with the hanging heads was great. I had people i didnt know behind me holding onto my shirt. The only thing i didnt like was the hanging shit! It was just everywhere and was getting in my face and mouth! ewwww! Scares: 4/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Overall: 4.5/5 I needed a beer after this house to chill me out. So we got that and headed to the Psychoscareapy house which had not opened yet. So we waited in the queue and was the first batch into the house. Psychoscareapy We walked through this one in the tour aswel and lights on it looked fantastic. So many details, I would love to work with Universal creative to see how the hell they pull these houses off. The facade was really good and noticed the smell of burning as the story is a bunch of collage kids have broken into the asylum grounds and are camping outside, they play truth or dare and eventually dare to go inside Shadybrook. The nurse at the start is pretty funny and the electrocution scene is great. The dummy looks so real with the strobe lights going. The only scare i got in this house was the red button that my dad pushed! alot of the inmates just stared at looked crazy. The scene with the bars looked awesome but again no one stuck their hands out to me. Scares: 1/5 Atmosphere: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 After the house my dad wanted to see Brian Brushwood. I went with this as i thought it could be entertaining. We ended up seeing Menace which was the first show. My dad was really disappointed with the show, he thought it was going to be more sick!.... Thats my dad! When this finished we headed next to the show and got in a short express line for Zombiegeddon. Zombiegeddon I was really looking forward to this house! I love zombies and i saw loads of good stuff on how the house is funny...... But i was really disappointed with the house. I liked the whole Z.A.P thing and the guy telling us all about zombies was funny and even the Zombie baby's was cool but the rest of the house felt a little... meh! I didnt get any scares again and cant really remember to much about the rest of the house. Ive surely gotta get a scare in the next house right?! Scares: 1/5 Atmosphere: 2/5 Overall: 2/5 Orfanage WRONG!! I was looking forward to this house to as i love Cindy and was happy that she had her own house but I must have gone through at the wrong time as i think i only saw 4 scareactors. 2 of those were Cindy. Thats the only thing when you have one shot at a house. It could be great or it could be aweful. The best part of this house was the effects. The smell of burning, the fire effect was great and the chalkboard effect was really cool. I had to keep the faith. Scares: 0/5 Atmosphere: 3/5 Overall: 1/5 After the lack of scares in the last few houses i needed a little break so we headed into the 8pm Bill &Ted show. I loved the montage at the start, alot of good memories on there. Shame about the rest of the show. 2010 has indeed been the year of shit if thats all they could come up with. Alot of this went over my dad's head with alot of "Who's That" and "Whats Jersey Shore". Why did they revert to Dr Evil again? The best part of the show was Woody and his pullstring. Onto the last 3 houses! we had been doing pretty good on time so far! Thank you Express Pass! Havoc: We had to wait about 10mins for this house as this was the first time in the night i saw them pulsing the queues. Well it was worth it! from the amazing looking facade to the loud gunfire on top. All you can hear from the outside of this house was screaming. I was pumped! We get inside and this house was full on intense! You Havoc people are amazing!!! The loud music and the shouting in your face was insane! My adrenaline went through the roof! It was scare after scare after scare. From the guys in the pipes to the girl who shouted in my dads face "Come here honey"! I didnt know the guy behind me but we ended up having a great laugh through the house together. This is what HHN is all about! Scares:5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Overall: 5/5 My heart was racing after that house and me and my dad laughed all the was to the next house. Catacombs: I was very impressed by this house! The facade is nothing much but what more do you need! I got alot of scares in this house! The triggers were used effectivly in this house as they coughed and spluttered over you. It had a great tight winding cave feel to it and was very hare to spot the scareactors. I loved the costumes and the atmosphere of the house. The hands from above scene got me good! I was looking at something else then out of knowhere BAM! a hand in my face! The only bad thing was OPS telling us to walk faster which we already were going pretty fast! It kind of ruined the atmosphere but im not holding that against the house. Scares:4/5 Atmosphere: 5 Overall: 4.5/5 Wow 2 good runs in the houses! I felt relieved that the night got better! And wow the exit to catacombs comes a long way out! I was back where i came out from Havoc! So we had to walk all the way back to Hallow'd Past. Hallow'd Past The house i had been waiting for! It made it all the more exciting as we went through this on the tour earlier in the day! The regular queue was at 90mins at this point! The express pass saved us again as we only had to wait 15min. I had a few beers by the time of going to this house and that vortex ruined me! My dad was laughing at me as I could not move! I eventually made it through into Treaks and Foons and this area felt very congested. No scares but liked the colours. The best scene we got was probably Alice in Wonderland with Alice crawling at us i shouted "Oh God" to which i got an amazing responce of "Im not god, I'm Alice!". That made my night! well done that scareactor! My dad at this point was turned round looking at me and laughing when behind him he didnt see the White Rabbit about to shout in his face! Great scare and great room! Dead exposure was ok, no scares there but very dark in there. SS Frightanic was ok to but was a very small room. The guy behind me said he had someone grunt in his ear which was pretty funny. Body collectors I love! The spine scene is great and everyone clapped! As i walked through to the next scene through the hanging shit an OPS guy scared the hell out of me! As i got through and looked up he was right in my face smiling, he blatently wanted to get in on the scareacting! The final scene i got 3 great scares! The director came up and snapped his board in my face and said "Action", then the Caretaker came out and startled me and when i turned the corner i saw her... Chance! I love Chance! I saw her sort of hiding and was staring back at her while walking hoping she would come out and play but as i turned round Jack was there "It's time to die!". What a great end to the house! I was very happy with it! Scares: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Overall: 5/5 As we come out i took a peak at the waiting time and it had gone up to 120mins!! I would never wait that long for a house! This was mentioned by a guy that walked past and said "I waited 2 hours in line for that?", I probably would be pissed if i had to do that to. A guy in line as we were walking past even asked if the house is worth it! I said yeah its great but everyones experience is different! We then walked through the scarezones and boy it was hectic! The crowds were insane and it was hard to walk through a scarezone and take it all in. I liked 20 years of fear and am slightly in love with Alice! She was amazing and bouncing around everywhere asking if everyone is ok and being funny! Great acting! Fear Revealed was ok but again to many people to try and enjoy it. We headed out through The coven which didnt have the pilgrims being burnt and then through Esqueleto Muerte which was packed with people! Overall I would say it was a good year! The express pass is worth every penny! The scarezones wernt amazing as did not get scared but i put that down to to many people in the park! I thought it was going to be quiet as it was a thursday! I am now back in the UK where nothing like HHN happens and am bummed that i have to wait till next year for my 1 night of horror!

I aggree Dr. Jimmy! It could be a prop warehouse. Showing the HHN past have really taken over the studios.
