  1. E Z_E! You actually got me! Sprinting, jumping over the flowers, and then charging up to me...I had no idea it was you (I thought it was a guest running FROM you) until after you freaked me out. That was awesome! Shoutout to the vampire that told my girlfriend that "redheads are delicious" or something to that extent. And to the vampire near kidzone that pointed at my Vault shirt, and told me she liked me lol. <3 to the chainsaw girls near Penn&Teller ripping everything up! There was a blonde and a redhead that continuously picked on my girlfriend and I (and our stuffed animals). "SERIOUSLY?! WHO BRINGS A GERBIL TO THE PARK?!?!" at my girlfriend's Pygmy Puff. It was awesome. <3 the Traditionals near kidzone last night....you guys are all awesome. <3 to the one who recognized my cat as a Cats n' Combs cat (first scareactor this year to mention that). Thanks to the blonde Vampire in the area where 7 used to be for creeping my girlfriend and I out...forcing us to stop holding hands, and then walking around us. It was awesome. I feel like I'm missing a lot, and I most likely am. Hoping to write a huge post on Halloween night! You guys have been a blast, this year has been loads of fun.
  2. Fox girls=awesome. The one interacting with me and my girlfriend in Central Park with the chicken scareactor was classic. Seeing you two fight over the candy, and then over my stuffed animal (Chicken mask dude: "You wanna know what my favorite candy is? STUFFED ANIMAL!) was awesome. Also, my girlfriend kissing at the fox girl (like, kissing the air, lol), thus making her shout "STRANGER DANGER! STRANGER DANGER!" was great. Oh, and snatching the lollipop right out of my girlfriend's purse was awesome. As they asked for my stuffed animal, I remember telling them I'd let them have it for a minute...Chicken mask says "No, I want him for forever!" That creeped me out, and made me laugh. The beast that was hiding in Central Park last night and scared the life out of my girlfriend...I applaud you. I had no idea that scareactors were allowed in Central Park, I'm very happy that they are now...the area had been way underused in the past. Anyhow, I actually pointed this beast out, not noticing he was a beast...just a "guy in a robe with a staff." I was thinking he may've been related to the task that night or something...we walk away, and then all of a sudden he's right there, making my girlfriend scream bloody murder. And she hasn't screamed like that since like last year. It was fantastic. If you're reading this, I'm the guy that shouted "YES!" after the scare. Truly epic. Shoutout to the other Fox Girl who was in front of Mel's for taking more candy from us, and for distracting me from my old friend the Cheerleader from 2010 (who is now a prisoner)! I had no idea it was her, and once she made her presence known, she ran off...and I was all "OMG, it's her!" She must've been hovering for a while, but I had no clue due to the constant badgering for candy lol. Shoutout to the zombie that pet my stuffed cat in The Walking Dead. Was that ArmyofRobots? It was in the dressing room. I don't recognize a single zombie in the house, and I've been through both casts multiple times. I feel like I've missed some people, and I probably have. Just take it out on me when I'm back in the park! Lol. Hopefully I can hit every last FFP+ day for the rest of the event. This year is tons of fun, as long as we're in the right places.
  3. Shout out to: the prisoner who was yelling at me in the Italian restaurant for wearing a Vault shirt. To the Jock in Alice Cooper for trying to steal my stuffed cat! It's like Catacombs all over again lol....you're awesome, I love your interaction. To the Monster that pantomimed wrapping a noose around his neck while pointing at my Vault shirt last week, and for petting my stuffed cat this week then jumping up and down giddily (I think it's the same actor, not too certain). You've made my night multiple times! To the Inquitus in the Hollywood area who always points me out. To the Elvis in Penn and Teller. To the Vampire who pet the stuffed kitty...I think you were one of our favorites from Acid Assault last year, not too sure though. And last that I can think of off of the top of my head: Shout out to EZ E who creeped the hell out of my girlfriend. We came to the rat lady looking for you, and you found us first. Edit: One that I definitely forgot. To the Frank that "breaks" through the wood in HoH. Holy crap, your scare is extremely effective. But what totally made my night was when you went to pet the stuffed cat, then jerked back like you were surprised, and then covered your face, turned around, and ran off! It was hilarious to see a big Frankenstein monster "scared" by our little stuffed cat.
  4. Maybe that's the problem. She literally just made the account before going to the event. Didn't play a single game. Hopefully if I get her to do a few games, it'll work when we go back.
  5. Shout out to Pyramid head for being INSANE....sprinting on those stilts, and then flailing your arms wildly at us. Awesome. Also, shout out to all of the traditionals again. You guys are amazing. I got triple teamed by actors shouting "THE VAULT IS DEAD, I'VE ALREADY TOLD YOU!" and it was fantastic. Also, my girlfriend decided to actually give the scareactor wearing a chicken mask a piece of candy. The scareactor looked at it for half a second, and then held it up in the air triumphantly. It was truly awesome. Gotta give kudos to the rest of the streets as well, especially the mixed mini-horde. I honestly thought before the event began that the streets would be trash...instead, it's an incessant onslaught of scares. There are a few dead spots, but not as many as before. Considering the lacking props and theming, you guys are doing fantastic this year.
  6. My girlfriend and I both registered our cards last night, and received the registered card badge. We both went through all of the houses, and scanned our cards one after the other when we got to the terminals....I received all of my badges, including the 7 in 1, but my girlfriend didn't receive a single badge for any house. Is there a period of time we should wait between scanning our cards or something?
  7. I hope there will be enough cards left for me to get one on Thursday. Didn't have time to show up tonight . Honestly, the event this year didn't have as much come back appeal as previous years...I probably only would've come back 2-3 more times without this game. But with the game...holy crap...I'll be here almost every ffp+ night for sure.
  8. The zombies in The Walking Dead were fantastic last night. I was thinking that the house would just be a throwaway sellout house, but it was great. Scares were top notch. House of Horrors was great as well, scareactors did a good job making due with what they had. My only complaint is that you can still see them before the light flashes....I don't remember it being like that with DE. Hopefully they can change the lighting a bit before the event is over. The streets were actually tons of fun. My favorite group at the moment has got to be the traditionals. Shout out to the Traditionals dressed up as cats, who kept playing with our stuffed cat. Also to the wolf girl for removing her mask, and "eating" our stuffed cat. And my personal favorite of the night, the guy with a chicken mask. There was a group of annoying girls in front of us, and the chicken-mask man was sneaking out from the shadows, attempting to score a scare on them. One of them points him out (I hate it when people do that -.-) and shouts in a nasally voice "I SEE YOU!" Then chicken-mask totally freezes where he is, stands up straight, and starts flapping his hands like a chicken would as if to say "I wasn't doing anything, I'm just a chicken!" Funniest thing of the whole night. Shoutout to who I think was a vampire, dressed in a ringmaster like outfit, for getting me really well. I thought we were out of the horde, so I for some reason wanted to scratch one side of my head using the opposite arm.....this scareactor was apparently hiding in the shadows, noticed I had my arm in front of one of my eyes, and ran up to give me a nasty hiss. Freaked me out. One of the guys with a wood staff (Inquitus maybe? Or was it a creature? I dunno) around Mel's was wondering around, away from the pack. Walking at us menacingly. We were all alone (save for a random ops guy). Scared the crap out of us...and He also 'ate' our cat. I'm so happy someone came up with cats n' combs in 2010, because even today this stuffed cat gets us so many scares. Last one...dunno if this goes here....Ted, during one of the ending dance scenes, pointed at my old Vault shirt and asked what happened to the Vault. I dunno if he was truly wondering what happened to it, or if he was just giving a shoutout....so I'll give him this shoutout since it put a smile on my face. My response was, of course, "It died."
  9. As for the whole "no more old rules" thing for the roaming hordes, does anyone know if this means no more sidewalks? That would be fantastic.
  10. The website does absolutely nothing at all for me for the event. It's just too bland. However, the houses seem nice. The scarezone idea is great, but I can't stop thinking how HOS did almost exactly the same last year with zombies...and they did a great job with it too. Seems like there are some remnants of a story with the Inquitus and everything, hope they add a little bit more about them. We don't need a huge story, but at least a small one would be nice. The biggest thing for me has always been getting immersed into the event's story. For me, that's what separated this event from HOS and other events (of course, other than the better sets and etc). I've loved reading up on the lore, viewing the interactive games and things on the website, looking things up....that's what really got me excited since the first time I went to HHN in 2002. We've been having less and less of that since 2010. I really hope that they don't continue this trend. I'm still going to the event, and I'm going to have a damn blast. I'm really looking forward to the classic monsters house, and the Penn&Teller House (even though before its reveal I thought that it'd be a dumb idea). I'm just not nearly as excited about the event as a whole as I can be, and I'm disappointed that I'll never feel that excitement for the event again unless they stop this trend and start making at least somewhat of a story again.
  11. So apparently next we're getting a dubstep maze? O.o.
  12. I was highly disappointed with P&T before actually seeing the official release. Now I think that they may just pull it off. They're just trying to tell us that everything's all right, when it really isn't....I like that idea a lot. Sounds like a lot of fun. As for the theme being zombies....well, HOS did pull it off very well last year. They even had different themed zombies...I remember there being clown zombies, Egyptian zombies, and radioactive zombies amongst others. I felt that their unthemed streets (though themed actors) pulled off a better atmosphere than HHN's streets last year. If HHN does nothing but roaming zombies this year, they definitely will just look like they're copying HOS...and if it's only a TWD theme, then they won't be able to achieve what HOS did because the zombies will all be the freaking same.
  13. Even if it's the scariest or most fun house ever to be created, I don't think I'd ever like a P&T or Alice Cooper house. It'll just be so hard to get into the mood thinking "Oh, hey, this is Alice Cooper's mind....the mind of a perfectly sane shock-rocker, akin to Marilyn Manson....uh huh." Even if it ends up being an amazingly horrific house, I still just won't be able to feel it. Alice Cooper is dated, and not scary at all....but he is a great musician/character and I have a lot of respect for him....he just isn't scary in the least. Penn&Teller....maybe some potential, but I'd still be annoyed going into it knowing that it's just a house to promote a comedian/magician duo. I love P&T, their act is great, but again...not scary at all. That's just my 2 cents. I hope I'm proven wrong.
  14. Hmm, I really liked this. I honestly didn't know whether you were serious for the first bit or not. Well done.
  15. This zone is most definitely closest to my heart this year. As promised to the female scareactors who kept running off with my kitties, here are the pics . Hope you guys enjoy, and I'm looking forward to seeing you all next year. If I may ask, for the one who particularly loved my kitty (first pic ) who were you last year? I keep thinking I remember your face from somewhere, but can't quite remember where. Maybe Esqueleto? PM me! I don't bite haha.
  16. Man, I dunno where to begin. So much epic win last night! I'm gonna try to take it zone by zone, and house by house. This is more or less a trip report, but I'm trying to put emphasis on the scareactor shoutouts. For scareactors searching for shoutouts, I tried to keep it organized enough to search for yourselves lol. Mad Props to EZ_E (sorry if I screwed the name up ) for chatting with me, and keeping my girlfriend on the sidewalk for a while haha. Also the "Shock face" is awesome, as well as the "eating popcorn face." ALL of the minions in Seven were as always outstanding. Love the gluttony guy shouting "C'MERE MEALS ON WHEELS!" at the guy in the wheelchair, and telling me to burn my Vault shirt. The Lust guys...oh man...do I need to go on? They are so into their roles. Having a Lust minion dancing on you while saying "Oh yeah baby, you know you want it" provides a new kind of fear I never thought I'd experience. It was simply amazing. My favorite was when one ripped his robe/coat open to scare this poor couple, and upon hearing me say "Man, I'm gonna miss this zone" he replies "We're gonna miss you too, baby." And the vanity guys....."HEY, WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOUR FACE?!" "I dunno, same thing that's wrong with yours?" without missing a beat: "WHAT?! I DON'T HAVE ACNE!" Then, to make up for the low blow, he states "WELL, I DID. I USED THAT CREAM STUFF, IT WORKED GREAT ON MY FACE, SEE?!!" Later on in the night when asking for a picture, he says to me "Sure, pimples!" Epic epic epic. Oh and <3 to the Vanity lady too, as well as the Gluttony lady who was seriously getting it on last night. I wanted to record a video, but she stopped by time I had my camera started up. Grown Evil tonight was exactly what I had always wanted it to be throughout the event. A LOT more aggressive. I can only wish that it was like this a few weeks ago. They still fit into the theme perfectly too. <3 to the stilt walkers, especially the ones who grabbed my kitty, and <3 to the bat ladies. What totally made my night was about 10 minutes from closing time, one of the owl men was running around wildly with his arms/wings up in the air. It was hilarious and unsettling at the same time. I saw quite a few of the stilt walkers running around and chasing people in this zone (as well as Dark Souls) which gave me awesome flashbacks from last year. Universal, when you do a creepy zone, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE allow for aggression like was shown last night! To be 100% honest, this zone was at the bottom of my list until last night...the creep factor was amazing, and I loved the ambiance, but the scares just weren't there. Last night...oh hell yeah, they were there. Canyon of Dark Souls of course always rocking it. <3 to the stiltwalkers here who finally began to move around a bit from their hiding spots and started running around. Awesome. Just like Grown Evil...made the zone that much scarier. The big guys were rocking as usual, and the majestic flowing of their capes truly brought a tear to my eye as I knew that this would be the last time seeing it. <3 to the stiltwalker that always came down and got my attention when I came through. Nightmaze....what a conflicted zone for me. It started off as decent, rose up to totally awesome, then went down to bad, then came back up to decent again. I wish that the aggression that was shown a few weeks ago would have stayed present throughout the event, as I was truly terrified in this zone at one point. Regardless, every scareactor in this zone did AMAZING for what was given to them, and I'd like to give mad props to all of them. Luck has Run Out&The Minions at the front of the park (I'm gonna sorta group 'em together) amazed me. Opening night I was honestly bored by Luck Has Run Out. It just didn't scare me at all. The minions I thought looked cool, but were "meh." Then second week rolled around. Holy crap. You minions ROCKED. My #1 new scareactor this year would have to be the Minions. Outstanding concept and execution, especially with the chainsaws. All of them interacted and scared SO WELL. I had my first true chainsaw-freakout in a very long time either last night or the night before. <3 to all of the minions. Sorry to the one that I asked to chop my gf's head off, I know that you aren't allowed haha...so hard to tell if you're laughing with me or annoyed with those masks on. Last but definitely not least, Acid Assault. This zone stole my heart this year. The guerrilla attacks, the batshit CRAZY scareactors, and the interaction made this zone outstanding for me. <3 to the female scareactors that kept stealing my cats and incessantly requesting ketchup, salt, and other condiments. <3 to the guys/gals with the carts, and chainsaws. Ho-lee-crap this zone was simply amazing. Seeing the scareactors chase each other with my stuffed cat, and fight each other over it, as well as congregating around the one who has it=outstanding. You guys are great. This zone is closest to my heart this year, and while I try my best to not pick favorites, if I did pick a favorite this would be the most likely candidate. Phew. Now that I'm done with that wall of text, onward to the houses haha. <3 the entire cast of Forsaken, especially the Spaniard at the beginning. Hearing "Ahhhhh, Cats n' Combs" in a Spanish accent, and then on a separate runthrough having my stuffed cat punched, beaten, thrown, kicked, and stomped while hearing "EL GATO MUERTE!" made me rip a new gut. Amazing. The church guy, the guys in the courtyard ("THIS ISN'T CATS N' COMBS DUDE!" **stabs stuffed cat incessantly**) the guys in the boat, hell even the guy at the very end who would always get me...you guys=awesome. Bloodengutz....ahhhh, I really really will miss this house. The Vaulter Bloodengutz at the beginning of the house almost made me cry. "Tonight they put me in the box for good! Maybe if all of you come together you can save good ol' Bloodengutz! Make sure they bring me back next year!" He usually says similar things every night, but last night they just hit me that much harder because I knew that this time he was right. <3 to Abe+Washington, the Valentines guys, even the 4th guys for getting their act together, the Easter cast, the Arbor Day lady, and the lovely elves especially the one with the toy chainsaw playing the good ol' mirror trick. Nightingales, <3 to the various nurses, especially the ones on/around the horse, and every one who gave me the vault sign...because each one who did gave it right after an amazing scare. Winter's Night, the guy with the Top Hat at the beginning STILL gets me. <3 the outstanding torso zombie, the mini-scare ladies, and the guys in the crypts right before the finale, as well as the scareactors who pet my stuffed kitties during the finale. I have to say that those of you who maintained character and beckoned those of us who you scared the living crap out of made this house for me. Beckoning us to the grave...so poetic. In Between....<3 to the scareactors who pet my kitties, and to the winged demons. You guys were crazy. This was my least anticipated house, and ended up delivering more than I had ever imagined. Really trippy stuff...loved it. Nevermore....<3 to the Tell-Tale Heart guy who kept shouting "COOOKIIIEEEEESSSS!!!!!!" I actually went to the MIB gift store to grab a Twix (closest thing to a cookie I could find) and came back to give it to him, but then he froze and stared at me. I was a bit disappointed, but I understand that you guys can't take gifts. You still made my night. <3 the ballroom scareactors, and during one particular scene around 10 something PM a drunk Poe saying in a slurred voice "Hafff you seen *hic* Virginnnia?!" My response was "Uh, nope" he just says "Oh....ok." And out she pops. Haha epic. The guy with the severed head...you manage to get me almost every time. Many many thanks. Saws n' Steam....ahhhh, such an intense house. <3 all scareactors who called out the cats, blocked us, "chatted" with us, and the like. <3 to the guy who shouted "THAT JOKE WAS NEVER FUNNY AND IS SO OLD!" hahaha, yeah I agree, but I never carried a comb this year. Though my stuffed cats do indeed wear 3D glasses now. I feel like I'm leaving out a lot, but I know that my post is probably already insurmountably long right now. So I'll leave it at this last paragraph. <3 to all scareactors this year. To be honest, I wasn't feeling the theme or story at all this year, but you guys as usual all made the event awesome for me.Thank you all so much for making a great year...and I hope to see you all next year.
  17. Props to the vaulters in Bloodengutz making the house scarier than I ever thought it'd be. Oh, and the guys in Forsaken...HOLY CRAP! I don't think I've ever experienced the cast with a metric assload of Vaulters/HHN'ers until last night, and it was intense! Guy with his eye out in the first/second room=you are amazing. Freaking out on me was the best thing I've ever seen in this house. <3 The Forsaken that tried to eat my kitty in the courtyard. And <3 to all of the others for making a house with such low expectations come up so high on the list. In Between, you guys were rocking it as usual. I think that In Between is going to be very close competition for my #1 house, also another that had low expectations, but delivered amazingly. The Poe cast was fantastic last night....never thought I'd get scared in that house ever, but I had the crap scared out of me numerous times last night and the night before. The S n' S cast was outstanding, as usual. Another contender for my favorite house. Stopping me and my girlfriend about midway through the house, and asking her if you could take her fingers or her eyes was AMAZING! Especially since she was conga-lining before we got held up, and then the rest of the house was open completely to us. And finally the saw at the end scared the ever living shit out of her. Thank you S n' S guys. Yet another for #1 house. I think I'm just going to have to stick with a "top three" or something, the houses this year are just superb. Shoutout to the one who stopped us, and then got in my face and was all "YOU!" My girlfriend had to literally drag me away, I just froze and didn't know what to do haha. <3 The Nightingales cast. My girlfriend is literally scared to death of your house, it's a challenge to even get her to enter. This is the only house thus far that still gets my adrenaline pumping uncontrollably. I still get several scares that I'd either never experienced or just weren't expected. Definitely another in the top three on the scare list, and the queue is always so short! <3 to the vaulter/HNN nightingales . Winter's Night also=awesome. Shoutout to every scareactor here, the ambiance and the atmosphere here is just superb. Not the scariest house, but it has some of the best scares, and in my opinion, some of the best theming of all of the houses this year, only competition being Forsaken. Now, scarezones.... <3 <3 <3 Acid Assault scareactors...the interaction is amazing! And the female scareactor who wanted to eat my kitty "George" was awesome. Next time we'll bring ketchup, for sure. Seven was on fire as usual, another shoutout to Sloth, Envy, and Vanity minions. You guys totally rock. The rest of you guys do too, but those three stand out to me the most. Last but not least (remember, this is all just last night haha) Luck's minions are so. Freaking. Awesome. Best new scareactor this year, imo. You guys rock, your costumes are very effective, and you all know how to take advantage of your roles. I at first didn't like you guys too much, you were all "meh." Then you got saws. Then I payed more attention to the outfits and watched you guys do your stuff more often, and became very pleased. Kudos. Only two more nights for me to write up more big posts! Hehe.
  18. This zone exceeded my expectation by far. Started off slow, but the amazing interaction and superb scares are just top of the notch. The interaction with my girlfriend holding my stuffed cat always amuses me greatly. I especially loved the special attention we got when we were arguing over going into The Thing. Helped lighten the mood, though she was taking things a bit too seriously. Oh well. You guys rock either way. Can't wait to hang out with you all more.
  19. You guys are on fire. I'm loving this zone. It came up from the bottom realllly quick. The other night I heard either an Envy or a Sloth shout out at my stuffed cat "CATS n' COMBS!!!" /salute, sir. Haha.
  20. I've loved this house since Day 1, and Day 1 I never saw the miniature scare or the torso zombie. When I did see them, holy crap. Outstanding. The best part about this house is that it (and Nightingales) tends to have the lowest wait times in the entire park, so I can do it again if I so desire. Last night I attempted to set my girlfriend up for the miniature scare "Hey honey, look at that awesome miniature." So of course, BAM, dead bride in my face. Amazing.
  21. I probably mentioned this in the shoutout thread, but keeping true to my posting last year, I've gotta say: I LOVE LOVE LOVE the stiltwalking scareactors. And <3 to the Vaulter who pointed at my shirt and snagged an awesome scare on my girlfriend using one of the cane guys. Oh, and LOVE the cane guys. Seriously. The ones that sneak up from behind are simply the best. I never expect to see a cane come slamming down out of nowhere.
  22. <3 the HR Bloodengutz from last night who said "Ahhh, the Vault, I love that place!" Big shoutout to the Vaulter in Saws n' Steam who backed me and my frantic girlfriend into a corner, and then flicked me on the chin. That was epic. I haven't had such a personal scare in a very very long time. Thank you, that totally made my night. Back to Bloodengutz, I didn't realize that the Elf at the end also was a Vaulter, so shoutout to him. I saluted you, hope you saw. Shoutout to the entire Poe cast. The first several times I went through Poe, I thought it was great, but meh. I didn't really like it all too much. I didn't get scared. The guy with Poe's head scared the everliving shit out of me. It was intense. I haven't had a scare that great in a long time either. Such a simple scare, I should've seen it coming, but KABAM, severed head in the face. In Between demons in the finale, thanks for scaring the everliving shit outta my girlfriend slamming that door. Thanks for making your house which had low expectations from me hover toward the top of my list. In Forsaken, I freaking LOVE the Spanish actor that gets in people's faces toward the beginning of the house. Last night I brought my stuffed cat "George" from last year (Cats n' Combs style) except I safety pinned some 3D glasses to him, and let my girlfriend hold him (perfect target for scares haha). The Spaniard slapped poor George in the face, and then shouted something at my girlfriend probably involving cats but neither of us speak Spanish. You sir were epic. I hope that you can read this. You give me some of the greatest scares in this house, just because of how aggressive you are, and for some reason someone screaming a language that I can't understand at me gives me the heebiejeebies. Hmm, I could go on about last night, and the previous nights which I never had time to type about. So bear with me haha. The Torso zombie and the guy with the tophat at the beginning of Winter's Night=awesome. The guy with the tophat gets me and/or my girlfriend EACH TIME. Well, ok, not always with a tophat, but it's the guy right after the angel. Amazing hiding spot. Right in the open. Anyhow, onto the streets. Seven, you guys definitely outlived my expectations tenfold. When I first went through the zone I was all "meh." Then I really got into it, and now I'm loving the interaction. Then I went to Acid Assault which also had a similar "meh" feeling from me. Ho-lee-ehfing-shit. SO MUCH INTERACTION. Especially with the "kitty" that the scareactors loved to pet, or slap, or scream/bark at, or just look at and say "kiiitttyyy." Especially when I got in an argument with my girlfriend in front of The Thing (she was too scared to go in, I tried to convince her to come with me, then she got all angry at me >,>). I love it when scareactors break up any sort of conversation in their zones. It's always been a staple of the event for me (dating back to 2005 when I was arguing with my father to go with me through Terror Mines, and an orc snuck up behind me and scared the shit out of me). It turned an annoying conversation into an interesting one. Anyhow, forgive my jumpiness, and forgive me if I excluded anyone that may remember me from last night. Last night was superb. I honestly and truly enjoyed it. It took a while for me to get "into" the event this year because I'm not really feeling the theme, but as always, the scareactors got me "in" to the mood reaaaal quick. Hoping to get another great experience tonight, lines be damned.
  23. Huge shoutout to the minions at Luck Has Run Out, and the demons in Canyon of Dark Souls on Thursday the 20th. Huge shoutout to the stiltwalkers, especially the one that was muffling something underneath his mask, and pointing frantically at my vault shirt! I was the dude with the mustache with the cute girl holding a stuffed cat (circa Cats n' Combs last year lol). Also, HUGE HUGE shoutout to all in Nightmaze for totally transforming the zone. It's exactly what I wanted it to be. Oh, and shoutout to the glutton vaulter in Seven . Can't wait to go again, actually leaving right now haha. Sorry if I missed anyone from Thursday, been super busy lately.
  24. For those who are seriously considering toughing it out in the rain, definitely look into getting some Frogg Toggs. I think that their economy suit is called the DriDuck or something like that, and it's only around 15 bucks. Instead of the normally annoying and sweaty plastic that most suits are comprised of, it's made of this material that allows air to travel through the pores but not water so you stay dry. It has some sort of special name to it which I can't remember lol. It feels like paper when you play with it. I can vouch after owning one for a year and riding at least 2000 miles in the rain with one, they're pretty good at keeping water out, though mine recently has sprung a slight leak around the crotch. That shouldn't matter to anyone who isn't riding a motorcycle in the rain, though.
