Even with it blocked up to the sidewalk it would still pose a problem for traffic so to speak. A lot of people will most likely just avoid even going that way. I think it will be cleared by the time the event starts anyway because Uni has enough problems to worry about with crowds in the first place and i'm sure they will make the event as convenient as possible for the guests...Well to clarify its blocked up to the side walk but that is a very small passage in comparison.

I hope not. There's already enough clutter going on without having that area being blocked. Alot of people walk that way during HHN so I could see that being a problem with Shrek Alley because if it's still blocked come HHN 22 that will be one less way for the crowds to go...*ahem* Trying to change the subject
The road between SS44 and the Lagoon is completely blocked off now by the walls surrounding SS44. Do you think it will stay this way?
How with this affect crowd flow and or placement of a possible scare zone in Shrek Alley?
It would definitely impact a "Death Drums" type show as the preformance area from last year is way too cluttered now and the path is blocked.

Perhaps with all this uncertainty and disarray about HHN 22 maybe this is what Universal meant when they said A New Age of Darkness begins. Because we are definitely in the dark right now...

My exact point...Don't you get it? We want to be proved wrong that's what everyone is saying lol. This is not really about who's right and wrong it's about a community concerned about the unprecedented amount of negative rumours circulating this year. That's probably why there is so much negatively around. I just hope the saying "There's no smoke without fire" is wrong this time.
As for all our comments not having any effect on HHN I don't believe that at all. Sorry Legacy we'll have to agree to disagree on that point. I've heard a member of A&D say in the past that certain details were changed before the event started and during because of negative feedback from people. I've always believed a few can make a difference and I'm not giving up on that principle now.

I don't think I have ever seen and heard this much negative speculation towards HHN and this years event in my entire 15 years of attending Halloween Horror Nights. I can't wait until the event starts and proves all those wrong...

What Dr. Jimmy said in his recent videos about this years HHN couldn't be anymore true. If you haven't seen them yet you should. There may be negativity floating around about this years event but If I may quote Dr. Jimmy himself "you don't know what the cake tastes like until you bite it" No matter what A&D comes up with or has handed to them by Uni they will always make it awesome. Just think there could be no HHN at all so we should all be thankful that it even exists in the first place. Think happy thoughts...

What boogeyman13 said is right. It's still fairly early to say that this year is going to suck weather it be the houses, the SZ's, or the entire event itself. It would be a fair assumption to say that most everybody that attends this years HHN will walk out with a big smile and say wow I was wrong...

With some members saying about last minute houses won't be as good or anything and some other members saying that A&D doesn't run HHN they only design it. Listen between 1:05 through 1:10 and between 6:55 and 7:31 on the video. Hopefully this clears up a things...

Interesting isn't it. You mentioning PYRAMID head from the Silent House movie and DR. Jimmy mentioning Pyramids in his Seven Cryptic Statements 2.0 video. Hmmmm...not only that, but Freddy Leatherface and Jason were not promoting any movies, they were done as stand alone houses, Jason and freddy didn't even follow any movie plot in the house, like Wolfman Dead Silence or The Thing did, Which were promoting movies, Chucky didn't even have to do with any movie at all
that's why I would think is weird, but, I guess like the Walking dead they could promote Silent hill the movie for them? I would love to see Silent Hill, I would love to see what they did, since they got the snow so right in Winter's night, the Silent Hill house could be just like that house but looking like Silent Hill, Add some fog and Pyramid head and it would be so awesome,
I still think it wont happen though,

Didn't they have to do that when they used Freddy, Jason, and Leatherface for 2007. And again in 2009 for SAW and Chucky..?Even though Silent Hill: Revelation has no direct affiliation to NBC Universal, they can always buy the rights to use the movie.

That effect was also used in Dead Silence The curse of Mary Shaw...Another one of my faves are open area parts of houses, usually at the exit, when you can basically run out into an open area and there's tons of sheets and scareactors. They used that one in Psycho-path with the shower curtains and Mothers, and in Texas Chainsaw Massacre, with the bedsheets and Leatherfaces.

Vincent could possibly be Vincent Price perhaps since he was known for his involvement in the horror genre...
And aren't they doing a remake of Frankenstein. Could be the Doctor reference there possibly since it was Dr. Frankenstein....
Also I searched 19th century horror and found on Wiki that Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and Frankenstein's Monster appeared in that time frame...
Also Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde appeared in the 19th century as well. So there are a few Doctor/Dr. references to think about.
Another thing to ponder is that in Dr. Jimmy's seven cryptic statements video he mentioned that his videos on April 1st were a joke.
He also said in that same video that sometimes when i'm joking i'm actually quite serious. Well didn't he mention a Cthulhu house from H.P. Lovecraft in those April 1st videos. Well in horror fiction wikipedia it mentions that some great horror writers of the late 19th and early 20th century include the works of H.P Lovecraft...
Now this is just my speculation on things as of now...

If they're using Disaster for TWD house this year I wonder where the dark comedy house is going to be since that's mainly been where Uni has put them. I wonder if we are going to even have one at all this year...

That's hard to speculate. If it is going to be expanded out that far then some adjustments are going to have to made to that area for crowd flow. Not just for HHN but during normal park hours as well. I mean it's just one road but it could be one less road and the saying less is more wouldn't really be applicable in this situation...
