  1. I heard there's going to be plexiglass in the houses.
  2. Are we confident about Creepshow being a scarezone? With Greg Nicotero being in the video for Puppet TheatreL Captive Audience, is it possible he was there to look at ideas for Creepshow replacing Billie Eilish at the same time?
  3. After I posted on here yesterday I heard in a video that there was a stipulation in the contract for Beetlejuice. It had to be open at least two days this year for them to be able to use it next year. That's why it was open Halloween and Nov. 1st. I don't remember if it was the same video or a different one, but I also heard all the houses are built, they aren't going to take any down, and they are making next year their anniversary year like this year was intended to be. I heard all of that from videos on youtube, I don't have any inside information, so put as much trust in it as you want to.
  4. Scream and The Conjuring confirmed? Lol Seriously though, yesterday I found out the Beetlejuice house opened on Halloween. That was the rumored house I was most looking forward to since I love them movie and character so much. I'm really hoping they bring it back so that I don't completely miss out on it.
  5. I agree, there are more important things right now than everything being "new." I took a vacation at the end of September and it happened to line up with the test weekend and following weekend. I was able to go through both houses. They are good houses that deserve to be at a, for lack of a better word, "true" HHN event. I view the two houses currently being open as a sneak peek of HHN 30 whenever that officially happens.
  6. Did they open the third room or just new stuff?
  7. The other day I heard there's a law where when a movie reaches 35 years old, the rights revert back to the original writer of the script. For example, the rights to A Nightmare on Elm Street reverted back to Wes Craven's estate. When Disney acquired Fox they got the rights to Alien and Predator, which is why it's believed those two franchises won't appear at HHN again. Predator is 33, which means the original script writer can request the rights back in two years. Alien 41 which means if the original writer decides, they could request the right back at any time they want. I'm not an expert on this law, I only heard about it in a video the other day. But if this is true, does it mean there would be a chance for Alien and/or Predator to be in future events? Going a step further, Scream is notoriously difficult to get to the event. when it hits 35 could we actually potentially get Scream at the event? This could all amount to nothing, but thought it could add to speculation. I'll post a link to the video I watched in case anyone wants to check it out, it has more info than what I've said.
  8. I had just ordered my BOGO tickets Tuesday, still hoping it was going to happen. Like everyone else, disappointed but understand. I'm hoping at least some of the rumors for this year carry over for next.
  9. I'm sorry you aren't going this year MGregorio594. And everyone else who's not going. Hopefully everything will be back to normal next year.
  10. I think that is very possible. Although, it's also possible the tribute store will only carry the retro shirts available online when it first opens. I'm not sure which is more likely. I've been dying for any type of official announcement, so I would love for an announcement tomorrow. Although, I'm also not going to get my hopes up.
  11. The only song of Her's that comes to mind is the one about "I'm the bad guy" or "I'm a bad guy." I guess I need to look into her music some more.
  12. Theatre sounds interesting. Have any more info on it? I was a theatre major in college. I miss live shows.
  13. If the event fails I don't see them going all out for a "re-do" next year. If anything I think they would play it safer so that they don't lose even more money on the chance people still hold off on going to the event.
  14. Live out of state, was already planning on going. The top three I was looking forward to are Ghostbusters, Stranger Things, and Universal Monsters. I liked Stranger Things the first year, and my cousin went with me last year so I was looking forward to what he thought of Stranger Things. I get what people say about the unknown being mysterious, anything can happen. I love the originals. Most years an original is my favorite. Last year my favorite was Depths of Fear. The year before was Slaughter Cinema. The first year I went was HHN 21, which was a great year for originals. So there's no hate towards originals from me, and if it were all originals I would still go. Although there's something comforting about seeing An American Werewolf in London or The Shinning or Insidious or even Krampus (which I loved that house) is going to be there and being able to say I know that movie. It's nice to know there's something you already have a connection to that is sorta like a safety blanket, if nothing else, I know this movie so there's a place for me. So I agree with comments above about a necessity for IPs to bring in out of state guests. IPs bring people in, originals keep them.
  15. I haven't been to any haunts here. I would like to go, but my friends either don't like haunts or are too busy. One of my cousins likes haunts. He goes to HHN with me every other year. Last year he took one of his sons to Nightmare forrest because he figured it's not as expensive as HHN and if his son couldn't handle it then he knows his son can't do HHN. He said he likes the Nightmare Forrest pulses people, that way the scare actors are ready and don't jump out too early or late. At HHN its a conga line (HHN will probably be pulsed this year though.) so sometimes you can miss a scare or see it get someone in front of you. Although HHN is more detailed than Nightmare Forrest. You'll love HHN. Congrats on getting to go this year.
  16. I live in Kentucky. I get an annual pass for Universal though. I get it every other year, I makes sure to get two falls out of it so that I get my money's worth.
  17. Yeah, I get that too. My supervisor will ask if I'm excited for Disney.
  18. Every year when I take vacation, my coworkers ask where I'm going and I say HHN. Every year without fail they ask what's HHN. After I explain it they're like oh yeah, that thing. At least I can come here to talk to people about HHN.
  19. Unless it has to do with a spoiler for the new movie, why would Invisible Man be considered too offensive?
  20. Do you think there could be more animatronics and puppets in the houses to help with social distancing? Not just for the guests safety, but the scare actors too.
