Hello. I haven't really posted on here and though I've always come to these forums for fun HHN speculation and information over the years I'm still new to how all of this works. That being said if I'm doing this wrong please let me know, thanks!
When I saw balloons as Dr. Jimmy's "Cryptic Comment Number One" the first logical thing for me to do was research balloons. I found out the inventor was a scientist from 19th Century London by the name of Professor Michael Faraday who used pig and other animal intestines as the first balloons in his experiments with hydrogen at the Royal Institute in London . After a few hours of fascinating insight into electricity and magnetism I had nothing. Oh! He's credited with inventing an early form of what would become the Bunsen burner, but I digress (LOL).
So I did a quick google of the Professors name as it relates to horror (movies/books/etc) and fascinatingly enough, I got a hit! What came up was the Universal picture, "The Invisible Man's Revenge" from June 9, 1944. I couldn't find anywhere how or why Michael Faraday came up in that search other than the fact that one of the main character's in this feature was a scientist. So, maybe no relation... But I thought I'd put my two cents in!
