  1. I wasn't cast but I think it had to do with my height. Out of 40 something people in my group.. they only cast like 6 and all of them were tall and thin. We got the same "what's your favorite horror movie" question. It was very fun and I am glad that I went. Congrats to those who were cast. I look forward to you scaring the bejesus out of me!
  2. Have my audition tonight at like 8:50 pm. Thanks for all the info in this thread as this is my first time auditioning. I will post tomorrow what my audition was like so it may be able to help someone in the last set of auditions next week.
  3. I have a lot of hhn stuff but I think my most prized item is a perfect condition original Backlot Bulletin (the old version of UO News) from 1990 with the Fright Nights cover and article. I don't know how many of those are still around and in mint condition but at least I have one. (JUST an FYI - I am NOT willing to sell it.)
  4. In regards to the hoodie, I agree.. it needs some help. My thought is to buy one and come up with my own art for the back of it (I am a graphic artist.) If I do this, I would want to make the art available for other people on here to add to their shirt (No, I am NOT going to charge for it.) My only question is if I come up with a design we can print, how would we get it on the back?? (Iron on seems a bit tacky.) Any ideas?? My other thought is to come up with designs for patches but they are expensive to get printed unless we get at least 50.
  5. Alice Alice Alice - I am not sure which cast you are - you guys were onstage from 815ish to around 9 last night but you are incredibly awesome. You have sooo much energy and are just f***ing nuts. Running around and yelling "HA HA you got scared" makes me laugh so hard while watching you. If there is a vote I would vote you scareactor of the year as you put sooo much energy into your performance and are a delight to watch.
  6. I have a Frequent Fear Pass and will be going several more times before the event is over. If I see one, I would be glad to pick it up for you and send it to you for cost plus shipping. I am sure it will not be that much to ship.
  7. 20 years scarezone - went thru about 815 and the Dracula bride did an amazing scare on me. She scared me a little, did a uturn and scared the crap out of me then. NICE JOB. My husband and I have watched you before and you are one hell of a scareactor. The cast that follows that one has a really awesome crazy Alice as we watched her last night bouncing around and just being creepy.
  8. The crowds last night were INSANE especially for a Thursday. We left about 9pm because we could not take anymore of the stupid teenagers that were there in droves. It seemed like every teenager in Orlando and Tampa went. Some of them were acting ok but most we observed were just being little jerks to the scareactors. I don't know how you guys deal with that, it infuriated me and we were just watching the 20 years scarezone as bystanders. Luckily, frequent fear pass will allow us to come many more times and put the last half of last night behind us.
  9. Usually I have had good experience with ops as a guest. I did they they kind of fell short a little in the Legendary Truth house last Thursday. There was a girl in front of me with 4 guys. She was COMPLETELY drunk, so much they had to hold her up to have her walk. I told 3 people in line working for Uni that she was totally drunk. You could easily see it, she couldnt stand up straight. We got to the front of the line and I told that person. They let her go in anyway where she proceeded to almost fall over in every scene, stumble and stop randomly, started screaming in the room with the girl on the bed - which she fell into and tried to kick the scareactors that are statues as well as the ones at the end. NO ONE ever stopped her or kicked her out. I flagged the first cop we saw when leaving the house and he listened. They were then pulled to the back where I am sure they were escorted out. Now, I understand when one person screws up and doesn't do their job but that night (it was around 930 or so), they all did. Me and the people behind me let people monitoring the line know she was extremely intoxicated - no one cared. She could have hurt herself, certainly tried to hurt the scareactors with kicking and no one cared... Why did it take me (a total bystander) to finally get someone to do something???
  10. I believe I have seen both casts during the 7x we have been in your house. I absolutely love it and I think all of you do a really good job. I was there last night around 950 and have to say - you did an amazing job not wanting to kill the idiot group in front of us who had a severely drunk girl with them. I know it must have been hard to not break character with that moron starting to scream, kick and try to knock you over (especially girl in the bed and statues later). Just an update - I had her and her group - flagged with the Orlando cops as soon as we left the house and I believe she was arrested and banned from Universal.
  11. If anyone goes on the expensive UTH tour and goes thru Hallowed Past - can you please post a link to download your photos in a zip file? I am too broke to go this year (lost my job in May) and it is the one house I would love to have photos of (I use them as a desktop on my mac.) Thank you to the person who already posted a zip file with all the other houses - it was really appreciated. If you don't want to post the zip file openly - send me a link or contact me directly. THANKS!
  12. Catacombs: Black Death Rising - 2 Havoc: Dogs of War - 1 Orfanage: Ashes to Ashes - 1 Zombiegeddon - 2 Hades: Gates of Ruin - 1 Legendary Truth: The Wyandot Estate - 6 Horror Nights: The Hallow'd Past - 7 Psychoscareapy: Echoes of Shadybrook - 1
  13. If you are walking thru from the entrance towars Mels, look on the right really close to the start of the scarezone. He maybe hard to see but he is one of the first people there.
  14. Looked last night - yes they were for sale. The prices varied - most under $100
  15. We saw ALL the scarezones. It's so funny to me how everyone has a different opinion. I absolutely LOVED the scarezone Fear Revealed and 20 Years of Fear. I thought it was awesome to see such icons and characters from the past. Kudos to the crypt keeper in 20 years of fear - I thought he was a statue - not so much!!! We went into 2 houses: Hades was alright but honestly I couldn't see much (too much odd lighting and smoke) but Psychoscarepy had some very intense actors and neat effects. I thought Zombiegras was fun as well to walk thru. We were surprised that almost no one was walking thru saws and steam, it seemed like everyone avoided that alley because it was sooo steamy, you could hardly see. Chainsaws dont scare me at all so there was no problem for us to go thru. All in all, very fun night - cannot wait till friday to experience everything we missed last night.
  16. Employee preview nights have been so awesome the last 2 years. I cannot wait to go this year - luckily the hubby works for Uni. Funny thing happ last year though.. In that scarezone when you first walked in and towards Shrek, there was a small fire going on one of the air blowers and very calmly a manager looked over at it and went "is that supposed to be on fire?" It was taken care of quickly and discreetly but it was a kinda funny if you were there...
  17. Some of us actually LOVE the Rocky show and are very irritated that it is not being put on this year. Personally I think Brian Bushwood SUX!
  18. Does anyone know if they have hired the coordinators yet? The job was posted for a VERY long time on the website and I applied back in May or June. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!
