  1. Facebook update... is that TJ? Will we perhaps have to track him down during the event?
  2. Sorry to add so LITTLE to the awesome work already done, but I think whatever the final symbol is, we might need to look at it from this angle: I expect the next photos to fill out the right-hand side, with another of these crosses.
  3. Did he go rogue, or did he find something he wasn't supposed to find?... EDIT: I think I phrased that wrong, maybe he went rogue, but maybe he did it because he found out Legendary Truth aren't necessarily telling us the WHOLE truth? I base this off nothing but it'd be a nice twist...
  4. I remember that, and I thought it was just to extend some HHN theming out past the gates. I think you're right about it being Jack the Ripper related back then, which of course I assumed was just leftover stuff from when the hearse was in Streets Of Blood. Is the hearse still at Citywalk by chance?
  5. But I just don't see them parking a huge float like that right in the middle of the road... even if they wheel it out at the beginning of each night to avoid daytime disruption, that's still a very narrow area for traffic to pass as well as a house emptying out there. Of course, having a whole PARADE of the things wouldn't make the crowds any better but then at least it'd be a temporary thing for 30 mins or so. It's placed in front of Disaster for a reason, maybe it's a mock-up of how a parade would run through the paths? A computer sequence they're using to work out the best route and such?
  6. Well these photos are, as LT state, "High definition photos from digital files" and that the "printouts (are) deteriorating despite preservation attempts". So are these burns and blood from the digital files, or are these clean printouts somehow burning? I'm picturing the scene in Ghostbusters II when the photos of the painting start combusting If it's the latter, I wonder why LT wouldn't just upload the clean digital files for analysis by The Collective, rather than getting us to work from scans of deteriorating prints...
  7. It might not be blood IN the photos, more like blood ON the photos... they're already getting burnt at the edges, it's possible they'd be bloodied as well? The Director's blood doesn't really look like someone's tried to 'stay in the lines' as it were...
  8. Considering the size of the structure and the fact that it's placed right in front of 'Disaster!', a ride that should remain visible and unobstructed during the day for guests... I'd say that's a very good suggestion!
  9. Wasn't this used in Streets Of Blood? Could we be seeing the return of the Body Collectors? Maybe as part of the 'icon' scarezone that leads down Hollywood (if that rumor's still floating around)...
  10. I enjoy having a couple drinks, usually for during Bill and Ted. Having a slight buzz going makes me loosen up a little and enjoy myself more, even more willing to strike up a conversation with the people waiting in line around me. But after flying across the Atlantic and spending a years savings, I don't want to get $#!%-faced and not remember the night I had.
  11. They've never done a How I Met Your Mother thing before I believe, I wonder if this is the year?... imagine some kind of 'Suit Song' for the musical finale
  12. With Legendary Truth, and how they're suggesting that Universal aren't telling us the whole truth, I feel as though LT's ultimate mission may be to shut down Halloween Horror Nights once and for all... like it's the Hellmouth, the ground zero for evil. And if I'm right, we have a game where we can't really win... if we succeed in our investigations and help them defeat the evil, there's no more HHN... but if we DO get it back next year, it must mean we failed as The Collective. Obviously I know we'll be getting HHN 21, but it seems as though we're being set up to fail from the start
  13. Looks to me like a warehouse where the HHN past is kept locked away in storage (I'm thinking like the Ark Of The Covenant from Raiders, from all those wooden boxes), but they can't be contained indefinitely... and as we walk through they begin to break free around us.
  14. I've tried (briefly, and given up much quicker) to overlay the photos onto the image of the lantern, but you're right, the background image is too distracting!
  15. While I still doubt it'll be a problem in October, if it IS and we have 180-min waits every night for most houses, I wonder if Universal will do anything to combat those types of crowd numbers... extend park hours past 12 or even 2am on peak nights? Opening up Islands to send some crowds to HP? Running more regular rides in the evening? I can't fathom the idea of queueing up just to get INTO HHN
  16. I've been trying to keep up with everything happening with the return of LT, but I'm finding it pretty damn tough... partly because I could only participate lightly last year, and because at least last year by this point we had a website that was teasing the houses and we could see how they tied into the backstory of Bloody Mary... So while I'm reading this thread, I admit I'm feeling lost... can anyone 'summarise' what we have so far? I definitely want to be out there doing stuff this year, I'm over in Florida by myself for the first time so I'll need stuff to do. I just don't know how I can get involved, this thread is full of people much smarter and better-connected than myself. I just know I'm psyched to get back out in the park staring at clocks for an hour before TJ tells us where to find our first real clue
  17. I believe I'm in the minority of people who enjoy movie-themed houses... Universal used to be the place you could 'ride the movies' as they say... If there's no movie houses, I wonder if they'll have a movie-themed scarezone as a 'middle-ground'?
  18. I think they mean the Hollywood area of the Orlando park, where T23D is... same place they had returning characters in 2006, though no icons back then if I recall... either Mary isn't creepy enough to join the others in an arrival show, or there won't be one this year...
  19. For some reason I read this thread imagining everybody flailing their arms in the streets shouting "THE BRITISH ARE COMING!" Halloween has never really been big over here, especially not in recent years where parents are reluctant to let their kids out. I had a hell of a time getting flights for October this year as well, and I have noticed quite a few WWoHP commercials airing (and practically none for Disney or any other FL attraction), so I believe Islands will be pretty packed those last couple weeks. But I'm not sure it'll affect attendance of HHN. Looking at the audience I expect to be travelling for WWoHP... familes together (so that means 4 or 5 HHN tickets at $60 each), with young children (depending on how marketing goes, but if you saw SAW on the posters last year, would you have taken your 8 and 10-year-olds?) to an event that frequently runs until 12-2am? I don't think WWoHP will affect attendance in a significant way. Of course, it will have a HUGE effect on flight and hotel availability for that three-week period.
