  1. While I did love the Ghostbusters house at 29, I felt like Soundstage 22 really hindered it. Stay Puft was VERY underwhelming and the facade was kind of lame.
  2. Elm Street doesn't really need a Soundstage funny enough. It's really just 1428 Elm Street that needs a large amount of space and a Sprung Tent provides enough space for it. Ghostbusters of course needs a pretty large space to accommodate it. Stuff like the NY Public Library, Temple of Gozer, Stay Puft, Sedgewick Hotel and the torn open apartment need a lot of space to actually re-create those sets somewhat to scale. I really want to see Ghostbusters return so it can be a mega house either in Soundstage 21 or 25.
  3. Evil Dead as a franchise is dying, unfortunately. I know Evil Dead Rise is coming next year, but it's probably gonna flop.
  4. I have reason to believe that Murdy is interested in this Original house.
  5. I'd like to see it get upgraded to a Soundstage, but I feel like a Sprung Tent or MIB Tent gives it that claustrophobic edge to it.
  6. I'm sitting here trying to figure out where Freaky exited because it didn't exit through those double doors lol.
  7. My guess is Posca. It's a 2,000-year-old Roman beverage that is made by mixing Wine Vinegar and Water. That could point to this Original house being set around Ancient Rome, which could connect to Nightingales: Blood Pit. This year, Hollywood featured their version of a popular Original from Orlando and it wouldn't surprise me if that's the case here. The part about the spinal cord and vertebral column is a mystery, but if we stay on the theme of Orlando OG's being transferred to Hollywood, it could point to Body Collectors. It could just be a brand new Original that just happens to be set in Ancient Rome. I am fairly certain I'm WAY off on this, but it's still fun to think about.
  8. Is Interview With The Vampire obtainable? The show of course. If Comcast acquires WB, we could see the original film at HHN.
  9. The Weeknd has been tied to horror for quite some time and he doesn't appear to be moving from that aesthetic for a while.
  10. That was one of the IPs they were looking at to replace Eilish in 2021.
  11. I think they also did it to reduce the chances of leaks occurring. Or maybe they felt that many guests/fans thought it was obvious that Chucky was eventually gonna come back to the event. There have been talks of Comcast wanting to purchase Warner Bros. If Comcast acquires WB, then it'll be a game changer for HHN and really Universal itself. Could finally see IPs like IT, The Conjuring, Scooby-Doo (2002 film), Gremlins, NoES, The Lost Boys, Creepshow, Thirteen Ghosts, and even Beetlejuice.
  12. I really hope that the rest of the houses get announced individually. Announcing Chucky so early was kind of lame, ngl.
  13. How do we convince Mark to keep the site up?
  14. Even though HNN is shutting down, I think this topic should continue to be discussed up until the day of the shutdown.
  15. If the sequel happens, which is apparently in "very active development", I could see it coming to the event.
  16. I personally think shutting down the forums is a terrible decision. I've met some really cool people through this website recently, so it sucks to see it go away forever.
  17. Insidious Chapter 5 comes out next year, so it's easy synergy. Plus, I think it's time they revisit the IP.
  18. Because I feel like Universal would want to test it as a scare zone first. KKFOS and Trick r Treat, which are on the same level as TFTC, were tested as scare zones first. Also, a Tales From The Crypt scare zone was planned for this year but was ultimately scrapped.
  19. Ah. I've never seen that film, so I didn't know it had zero jump scares in it lol. I'm sure A&D could find a way to create scares. They did it with GB and Beetlejuice fairly well. Did you copy the link and try to open it in a separate window?
  20. Never say never. They're always bringing IPs that are niche. Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Freaky, Krampus, House of 1000 Corpses, Ash vs Evil Dead, and From Dusk Till Dawn are examples of niche IPs that have been at the event. There aren't niche IPs at the event every year, but they do happen.
  21. It kind of did this year lol. The Black Phone section of The Horrors of Blumhouse was super long and felt like a fully-fledged house. It took up 3 tents!
  22. This is interesting..... Could point to The Weeknd: Dawn FM coming next year.
