  1. Can't be mad about that. The Thing is a solid property with a lot of great potential for scares.
  2. I'm not 100% on the connection with "seaside town", but it was confirmed on Twitter that the hints were linked by the year 1984... which was when the first A Nightmare on Elm Street came out. But maybe I'm just vainly hoping for ANOES to come back, haha.
  3. I'm just skeptical because of how difficult it is to get properties from King into haunted attractions. Although, there was a small interactive experience held earlier when the movie was first released so it's possible. I'm just trying not to get my hopes up, haha. But you're right. There are some GORGEOUS monster designs and sets in the movie. I think it would be a great house.
  4. Despite my debilitating clown fatigue, I'd like to see an IT house (especially a haunt interpretation of the painting woman), but I highly doubt it's going to happen in 28. Purge is probably coming back. Don't want it, don't need it, but we're probably going to get it. HHN best be giving my girl Cindy her year in the limelight, though. I miss having icons.
  5. Gods, I hope not. In my opinion, none of the steampunk-centric scarezones or houses have been scary, and making it into another X vs. Y house makes it even less interesting to me. The whole thing just feels lame and uninteresting. :/ If they do make an angels vs. demons house, it needs to have some nuance to it. There's nothing scary about red devils or white-robed angels. Admittedly, it has some potential for some really interesting creature interpretations, but I won't hold my breath. I think I just have an irrational hatred for this maze as a concept, haha.
  6. Mine was at 468. Weird. Probably a little bug they haven't worked out yet. I'd suggest that it was intentional, but I can't see what they would possibly be doing with that... and also, that would be silly.
  7. Wait- wasn't it The Director who said that art requires sacrifice?
  8. I agree completely. It all feels very classically gothic - right down to the skull insignia - and definitely brings to mind the Catacombs. The roses give me a funeral parlor feel, also.
  9. What we're all missing with the Dark Fortunes hint is the long-awaited return of Lady Luck, unanimously the best icon. Obviously.
  10. I want to believe that these clues are pointing toward a bayou theme (what with the Serpent and the Rainbow, "wettest hell", Voodoo Queen connections and all), but it might very well be a Mummy-related hint, given the connections to Cleopatra. Especially so because the new Mummy movie includes a female mummy. Also, howdy! I'm new here, sorry. Haha.
