  1. yeah that's cool. But then they shouldn't have mention an unicorn. Period. I think that's why people were expecting something, because of how much they hyped this house up. He even appears in the queue Video for the house. why hype it so much? like, why make a big deal about it? Why not just leave it alone and not say anything about it About Ruining the Dark Horror feel, Well the clown does that, so does merman. Both creatures were not really scary but used for comedy, I mean, The clown in the movie didn't look scary at all, and Merman looked scary but it attacked the only guy that wanted to see it. (Which was funny) So I would say those two already change then dark feeling of the movie.........
  2. I have noticed this as well. It is kind of cool because you can do this house at any time and not worry about long lines. But it makes me wonder if Universal will say no to game houses in the future because of it. There is always a line for this house though, I have never seen it empty. it's just short
  3. yeah that's what I was thinking. a couple of times i felt awkward and uncomfortable lol, because I felt like, even if they scared me it felt like I Was making them waste a scare on me or something. Like I was not worthy of the scares for being alone lol. I Totally understood the actors probably didn't hear me, I totally understood why it happened. It was still awesome to do the houses alone. I loved that
  4. Wow, Those plague doctors always came within inches of hitting me in the face or eyes with their masks. I would get scared but I thought "They know what they are doing, I don't have to worry about anything" One time they almost poke me in the eye. but I always thought I was safe....
  5. I wonder how this is handled, do they ask those people to leave the park? Every time I've done the show, the callback "F__ the back row" has always been said. Even if it's a small group of people, but it has always been said. So it makes me curious. other F word?
  6. yeah I have liked what the actors are doing a lot. the walkers feel more scary than last years (walking dead street zone) too.
  7. I did the In Between alone. and I did Dead Exposure in 2008 alone. Like Completely alone, I was there too early and there was no one in line. It is cool, But something that happened was that because I was the only one and I didn't make much noise, I missed a lot of the scares. It felt like because i was the only one maybe they didn't know there was anyone in the house or something like that. It was really cool but I only got like half of the effects and scares.
  8. In 2011, I think the zones were nice. I liked them but I expected better. then in 2012 I didn't like we didn't get scarezones but only hordes. I LOVED the hordes, but I was sad about the set pieces. this year I realize that 2011 and 2012 were actually pretty great.. Goes to show that you don't know what you got until is gone, This year the streets are nice but kind of generic... Which makes me worry about next year lol
  9. I wonder if anyone else is skipping HHN today because of the Breaking Bad finale.....
  10. I think it is funny how I used to be worried this house would be based on the movies. But now I think, it wouldn't make much difference if they did the house based more on the movies or not. We could have had a cool Alice character in the house if they did it movie based lol
  11. I think it also has to do with the fact that there is not a lot you can do with zombies. I mean, A house is different because it is an enclosed space and they have more control over the scares and the environment. But the streets get too crowded and the zombies blend in with the crowd too well. While this should be perfect for scares, Sometimes I feel it is the opposite. sometimes I will be walking by a street and a zombie will scare me, but because of their clothes It almost felt to me like it was some random person in the park trying to scare me. It is only when I see their face with bloody make up than I realize they are a zombie. it is not the actors fault either. Zombies are slow and they cannot talk, and they look too much like the same people that are visiting the park. Like I said, At first the fact that they blend in works really well to scare people. But after a couple of hours it gets old and it stops being scary. Specially with the amount of noise from other people in the street.
  12. sounds like you were too close to the puppet. I don't know if the people working the puppets can have clear vision to where the people walking are. Some would say you were lucky, you were actually attacked by the werewolf lol
  13. Anticipation 1. Cabin in the Woods 2. Resident Evil 3. American Werewolf in London 4. Evil Dead 5.The Walking Dead 6. La Llorona 7. Afterlife 8. HAVOC 2 Current ranking 1. American Werewolf in London 2. Evil Dead 3. The Walking Dead 4. Cabin in the Woods 5. La Llorona 6, Resident Evil 7. HAVOC 2 8. Afterlife
  14. yeah I pretty much agree with what you said for Afterlife. I had a similar experience. This house had a great backstory and it had a very interesting idea. And as a 3D house is a good 3D house (Much better than Penn and Teller) But together it just does not make a good house

    Evil Dead

This house is truly amazing. I loved it. It was insane and really really scary. It actually made me jump once or twice. I love how it really feels like the movie. I didn't even like the movie as much as this house. I mean, I liked the movie, but i really really loved the house. it was pretty amazing to see.
  16. What makes me kind of sad (But it is funny too) it is to see people leave in a hurry when they see Dr. Frank-N-Futer lol (It is funny because they freak out) but I still feel pretty bad that it finally comes back and people are being dumb like that. I also noticed the first weekend there was not that much participation, I mean, There is always some... Not Trying to be negative or anything but I don't think Rocky Horror might come back.... I mean I hope it does, but i won't be surprised.
  17. I knew Orlando probably wouldn't get the same props, but i thought at least they were going to make props like in Hollywood. new props or something? I don't know, maybe i am just being naive...
  18. The actors are doing a great job as far as their movements though. I like what I am seeing a lot. actors are doing a really great job at acting as zombies. So it is cool to see them. Some Walkers have really scared me because of how well they blend with the crowd. So I've gotten scared, The actors are doing a really good job in all the streets. Edit: I take back what I said bout the make ups in the streets. I dont know if it is my imagination or what but the make up today was a lot better than Last week. I saw stuff I liked more today.
  19. I really like this house but I am pretty sad that we didn't get any of the puppets from the Hollywood house. I was really looking forward to seeing some of those. Maybe those puppet things don't go with the story the house is telling but I really wanted to see those props in person. Still, a great house. I liked it more than Resident Evil and Havoc actually. it is pretty neat.
  20. well... Like I said, if I don't want to be spoiled I don't watch it. I have not done Evil Dead yet, or Afterlife. And I am not looking to see those videos. I had almost a week to watch them. But I never tried. I saw Walking Dead because I didn't care about that. But I would not have watched an American Werewolf video if they had released one because I knew that house was going to be special. I Understand the videos spoil everything, but I guess it's all about how much self control you can have. And like you said, people that cannot come to the event can at least take a look And that to me is amazing from Universal. I really appreciate them for letting people record. Now we can have something to remind us. I only wish they allowed videos earlier.... (As for 2007, yeah I saw the dreamwalkers video they did for the news, but I wish there was a night vision walk through for texas and Friday the 13th.
  21. I don't know, I don't remember. If there are I would love to see them. But I don't think I ever saw any.
  22. I am actually glad about the videos. I say this because some of my favorite houses (like in 2007) I barely remember anything at all. I have no memory of Texas Chainsaw besides the facade, yet I did that house like 40 times. I would have loved to seen videos of that year. I know these videos spoil everything, that sucks for people that want to be surprised I can totally agree with that. But I am really happy about the recordings. I mean.... I guess it comes down to will power. if someone doesn't want to be spoiled they don't have to click on it
  23. I asked once if I could buy one of the Skull animals (those cute Plushies they have for prices) And the guy said that yeah you could buy it but it was something like 25 bucks. While playing the game is cheaper. I guess he was trying to say I could try to play the game to see if I won. But I think you can just buy it.
  24. well they are using puppets for American Werewolf in London. Just like the puppets in Resident Evil. (or the dog) (or the lion puppet they used for Scary tales in 2008) I thought we were going to get an Unicorn Puppet. I am sure it wouldn't look super realistic but it would be at least something nice. What made me sad about it was that they kept talking about it and hyping it up. they kept mentioning unicorn in interviews. I would have liked even a static prop like Merman. I guess because they kept talking about it I expected to see something
