That wasn't quite the part that I had in mind.
-
Not sure if this was said with a wink or not, but I'm thinking that physical characteristic would fit really well with Blumhouse.
-
I was there the same night. It was a little busier than the average Sunday, but we did 4 of the 9 houses and B&T, plus Scarezones. AND we left at 11:00

I know I'm in the minority, but we actually don't. My wife and I always go for the Frequent Fear Pass, and plan to attend three nights out of the week that we're there (Sun, Wed,Thu). We get there early, and hit as many houses as possible before the lines get too crazy (usually 4-5). Then, we see one of the shows, ride some rides, drink some Fishy Green Ale, etc. Once the crowds start to dim down a bit, we hit one or two more houses, and call it a night. Between all three nights, it has never been a problem to see what we'd like to see, not feel rushed, and usually end up with extra time and check out early one or two nights. That also affords us the ability to use the money NOT spent on express to do the Unmasking the Horror tour and buy some merch.

I don't understand whatever happened to people just being cool. Remember when "I didn't like that. This isn't for me." used to be a perfectly reasonable answer for most folks?

As a marketing person. I have to agree whole heatedly. They take an event with a rabid fanbase that they could run relatively cheap (or free) programs with, but instead decide to post "cryptic" responses or self indulgent pictures on Twitter. Social media is a very importantly tool right now, and they kind of just shrug it off.
-
I looked through the code, and I didn't see any mentions of anything interesting. Although, I'm not much of an expert in that realm.
-
Yup. This exactly.. We we got lucky and had a really small group. Worked out really well because we got crockolion selfies!
-
They usually let the guides pick which houses they do after they get a read on the group, but they tend to stick to six certain ones. If I had to guess (assuming our guesses for houses and locations are close), I would say AHS, Shining, Bayou, Catacombs, Ash, and either Blumhouse or Saw will be the most common ones seen. I will say, if Catacombs (or whatever it ends up being called) is similar to Tomb of the Ancients conceptually; then that one can be struck off the list 99% of the time.

That's what the policy was last year as well. Basically the "select houses" were the originals. Hopefully they'll open it up a little more this year, but I severely doubt it.
-
Well...all the originals, scarezones, and shows will probably be dumped all at once in August per usual. So, that leaves three (possibly four) IP houses and whatever Icon-ie type stuff they have planned.
-
Definitely not Sunday. I don't think they've ever done a weekend announcement.
-
They tend to do later in the week announcements (more Thursdays specifically), but could leak into Wed or Fri. Just trend analysis and hedging my bets.
-
I'll put a few bucks down on next Thursday.

Would it help easy your minds and hearts if the full house title had a subtitle to it? Something like "Ash vs Evil Dead: Dead by Dawn" or something like that. Then the marketing copy could be something like..."Join Ash as he revisits the events that kicked off his life of fighting evil that we've seen in the hit TV show...blah blah blah..."
-
They're also starting to run out of "original IP" properties (for lack of a better term). We've already seen most of the classics at least once, and new "classics" aren't being made every year. I wouldn't be surprised if they original/IP balance started to even out a bit in future events.
-
Some might say that he/she is represented in every house. But....blood keg stands!!!
-
I like that clue for Time. Really narrows it down
-
I agree, but I like puzzles.
-
Just to jump on the potential hints in the graphic/logo: -There are 6 candles. 5 are lit, one has gone out. -There are 4 roses -If candles = IP houses, and roses = originals, then.... -5 IP houses (6 minus the one IP that's rumored to have gone away) and 4 originals = 9 houses. Kind of a stretch since I'm sure this was designed weeks (months?) before they had the rumored issues with The Conjuring.

And then one of their replies on twitter suggests there is a hidden message in here: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DBuljBIUAAAs-MX.jpg Hmmmm...I did notice that there's an odd scrawl and some dots on the skull's forehead. Could just be filigree through.

That looks like it might be a candle reflecting on the surface of the water? Have you been replaced with someone else?
-
To play devil's advocate, I believe the "stalking" concerns came along with the comments regarding trying to see if the car was in the same place at the same time on other days.
-
You're correct. Issues over ownership between creative and the actress

Almost? I'm pretty sure I was cracking up at watching them stumble around a wading pool.
