Last year was my first year and I used the touring plan at https://touringplans.com/universal-orlando/events/halloween-horror-nights-orlando#. It worked well for me. I was able to see every house throughout the night, although I did miss the shows, but I did ride several of the rides (including Gringotts at Harry Potter). As usual, the best advice I found is arrive early, stay late, and choose a date far away from October 31!

I will be there with a HS drama group on Sept. 25th. I will be the odd looking adult being ignored by my child and the other teenagers. Since they won't want me around, I would welcome anyone else to travel with! Warning: my first time...

This is my first year at HHN. We are going on Friday, September 25, which I understand is a busy, but not peak day. We can't afford Express passes, and I would like to experience all of the houses, scarezones and shows. Do you think the touring plan laid out here - http://blog.touringplans.com/2015/09/17/everything-need-know-halloween-horror-nights-25-part-2/ - makes sense? We do have tickets for an afternoon Behind The Screams tour but I assume we will be outside when the park opens for HHN at rope drop. We will stay as late as we can. Any help appreciated.
