Hollywood got Happy Death Day instead of Insidious because of their Insidious 4 house. Why did we get not get Happy Death Day when we have a Purge scare zone? Womp.

Can't believe it's only Sinister, Purge and Insidious. Hopefully it's 70% Sinister since we at least haven't seen that as a house before.

Murdy teasing another reveal for Hollywood today - official Blumhouse announcement for both coasts today? It's nice Murdy at least gives fans a tease.

I understand that but I don't think it has anything to do with his passion. I think it's a combination of his new job responsibilities, marketing essentially hand cuffing him to secrecy/taking total control, and I ultimately question how close he really is to every detail of HHN at this point. With things like Nintendo World, Fast & Furious, etc. in the works, who knows what's really on his plate on a day to day basis. To add to that, he's essentially become the spokesman for Universal. He does press tours all over the globe and even goes on camera to promote new things happening on both coasts (e.g. the Harry Potter Christmas experiences). He's a piece of talent that they've invested in and I totally get it. Unfortunately, that leaves all of us on a sad, lonely island craving for any of legitimate information.

Aiello has a lot more responsibility than just HHN at this point. The guy is incredibly talented and passionate, he's being rewarded for that. Someone as senior as him should not be tweeting us updates, as much as I wish that was the case.

The lack of info is frustrating but what's even more frustrating to me is the stupid countdown clock. Whatever is released 22 days from now has set itself up for extremely high expectations. If you're going to make us wait like this and base everything off stupid clues from the Ifrit, you better blow our minds. And it's tough to think my mind will be blown based on the soul reaping gimmick. But hey, fingers crossed.

I work in digital and we almost always share new original content on Thursday afternoons. Fan awareness tends to be at its highest right before the weekend which results in more views of the content. It also allows people like us to talk about it on forums all day on Friday.

Surprised the official map hasn't been shared as well. Has anyone heard anything in regards to merch? Still praying for a shirt that just says "Halloween Horror Nights" on it, but I know I'm asking for a lot here apparently haha.

Terrible title but as long as it sticks to the same story line, I think we'll all be pleased. Not a bad IP lineup, only one more to go...(hopefully).

I think we're getting a dual announcement today. Hollywood Facebook posted saying "He's Back". They had the original Halloween last year and it was a major success over there. Makes a lot of sense to follow up with the H2.

Pretty sure it's a new one. It was tweeted out from @HorrorNightsORL on Tuesday.

Given everything that has happened, do you guys think announcements are being pushed back for a while? The HHN Twitter account has been quiet but it seems like the Universal Orlando account is starting to become active again.

They haven't been the best source in the past but have heard Halloween 2 from various others. If Aiello is a big fan, it's always a possibility!

Man, I'd love to see the girls criticialanalysis is pulling on a daily basis. Great reveal - icon with a unique twist on a story we know and love. BRING IT ON!

I think 18+ needs to happen more than eliminating alcohol or even 21+ for that matter. Part of what makes HHN so great is the atmosphere. I recently went to the Hollywood event and it seemed almost boring compared to the atmosphere created in Orlando. Eliminating alcohol punishes the general public for the mistakes of a few idiots. If alcohol is banned, it will only make people drink harder at City Walk or even at their hotel or house before attending the event. I feel terribly that scareactors are getting abused but I trust the team at Universal to make the necessary changes to keep the event running properly. HHN is my favorite party of the year, hands down. I'll be upset to see that change.
