From the Hollywood thread:
TWD is returning for sureor maybe Terminator is the non horror property and these are the friends he's talking about
probably just the walking dead
If TWD comes to one coast, it's definitely coming to the other. Get ready for the probable worst house of the year.

I don't know how this means we're going to get TWD again... Oh who the hell am I kidding, it's returning. Be prepared for the worst house on both coasts this year.

Someone tell us what was in the video since it's now private. Speaking of videos, Dr Jimmy's is in a few days!

Drew from OU said this on Twitter:
"So interesting tidbit. Buddy of mine planning a HHN trip called vacations yesterday. Apparently the rep said there'd be 9 houses this year And mentioned the possibility of an upcharge house as well. Take it all with a grain of salt, but figured it's worth sharing."
-
this is photo makes me think ... how funny would it be if someone was flying a drone around Uni trying to get clues on the houses as they were being built?
Someone could always do a helicopter view.
-
Do you guys think we'll see a 3D house this year?

This could be a decent IP year if The Walking Dead is left out. Kraumpus, Crimson Peak, Hitchcock, American Horror Story, and Dr. Who all make for interesting properties. I know nothing of the latter, but looking through this list, http://www.thedoctorwhosite.co.uk/doctorwho/characters/aliens/ , has me intrigued. Still holding out hope for Treehouse of Horror, The Shining, Hellraiser, or Twin Peaks one of these years.
What's the consensus on IP to original content ratio this year? Half and half? It'd be nice to have one year without IP's, but I fear those days are long gone.
If there's 8 or 10 houses- Half and Half
If there's 9 houses- 5 originals, 4 IP

Man, that sucks. I don't know how they thought you were Cassi.

Dracula caught me off guard a couple of times, but the house's lack of coherence is what dragged it down.

Wasn't a new parade rumored for this year? The new parade could be out in November to avoid interfering with HHN if so.

Yeah, the warehouse can be added to the list of scenes that would 100% fit in a house. The construction sit would be perfect for a scarezone. Mix it in with the fire truck and it's a killer combo. Now we have:
Terminus
The church
The hospital
The barn
The warehouse
I honestly think they're going to mix in the spinoff if/when TWD returns. The pilot is already done and there's only 5 episodes left to shoot. With a Late July/August premiere date, A&D could see early cuts of the episodes and put them in the house.

Dark Christmas/Krampus feels a bit too obvious for this codename. I'd say it's Scary Tales if not for the #notbasedonafreezingcartoon part.

This is a pretty good idea and would work for stuff like RHPS. However, only having Bill and Ted twice per night would make seeing it hard, and you'd have to get there a while in advance because of the popularity.Instead of having just Bill & Ted and 1 other show, add a bunch of shows... Why not run Bill & Ted 2 times a night and whatever the other 1 is 2 times as well (to put on the map) and rotate a whole variety of performers on all available stages different each week. Bring in live bands to perform. I'm sure they can print a weekly schedule for guests. They had their chainsaw drill team, why not add a few other random roaming monsters/villains?

I always thought that Fallout would make an amazing house. People would go in thinking it would be funny and quirky, but they forget or downright terrifying Fallout can be.
But again, purely wishful thinking.
Can you imagine how insane Deathclaw puppets would be?

Teebin on OU posted this:

Another tent?

i hope they split us in to like 6 people groups instead of a Congo line though it .
The only way you can go through by yourself is when the event opens and you go to a less crowded house. Regularly pulsing will never happen.
-
Definitely. I have a feeling the first house will get revealed at the end of May.IMO you'll hear more about HHN very soon... Not just from Doc's videos, but I think Universal is going to hype this year big time.
I wouldn't be surprise we get another announcement when tickets go on sale (Not a house announcement but something else)

Considering Murdy say it's way outside of horror and Buffy has horror elements, I don't think it's that.Possibly.
I did think of another possibility. Buffy.
-
Have they done it in Hollywood? Technically, these clues (assuming that is what they are) may not even apply to us, since they came from Murdy.
True. I don't believe they've done a ST before.
-
I'm guessing JP. Maybe Pan's Labyrinth since there's a good chance he'll be working with Gulliermo Del Toro.
JP wouldn't really require getting rights since Universal owns it.
-
A Doctor Who house would be interesting. It's never really dawned on me before how much stuff could be put into a DW house.

Personally, I think they should make a kick ass HHN version of The Wizard of Oz, or like some of you mentioned last year I think, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I still would like to see that cryptid house too (Bigfoot!).
Why not just do another Scary Tales?
-
What about The X-Files? With the show potentially being revived a house would get people excited for the new season.

Halloween Horror Nights 25 Wishful Thinking

Nope. This season would translate itself much better to a scarezone. Because of the warehouse scene, they're probably going back to the parade building.
