Clue #1 (believed to be a house) Part 1: Part 2: Part 3: Part 4: Summary of speculation for Clue #1: Nightingales in a Revolutionary War setting, an Urban Legends house based in the headless horseman, Sleepy Hollow (TV show), Celtic Mythology house, and Halloween (the movie) were all suggested. The movie Halloween was connected through various bowling, musical, and Celtic references. John Carpenter grew up in Bowling Green, KY and many places in or near there are referenced in the movie. Samhain (Celtic holiday that Halloween traditions come from) is mentioned in Halloween. The Halloween theme is done in 5/4 time and was credited to the Bowling Green Philharmonic. The consensus is that this clue points to a house based on the IP Halloween. Clue #2 (believed to be a house) The Purge and Alien were suggested for this clue. Alien is the consensus. The image was created from a detail of "Three Studies for Figures at the Base of the Crucifixion" by Francis Bacon. This artwork was used as inspiration for the chestburster from Alien. The Nostromo was named after a character from Joseph Conrad's "A Tale of a Seaboard". A phrase derived from Cicero's "fortune favors the bold" is used in the Alien franchise. Clue #3 (believed to be a house) The one everyone dreaded! The words are from the song Schism by Tool. The chemicals point to decomposition. Rotting corpses = The Walking Dead Clue #4 (believed to be a clue that Jack is Back) The items listed are all used for paint/cosmetics. Green and white paint to be specific. The speculation is currently a return of Jack the Clown. Clue 5 (believed to be a street) To Market, To Market is a nursery rhyme. This appears to be a variation of it. A line from it is used in The Purge 6/7 is the date The Purge was released. The Purge lasts 12 hrs for 7 to 7. Speculation is currently The Purge. Clue 6 (believed to be a street) The two brothers in the pic are Castor and Pollux Diamterically opposed to each other (one being a God and the other human) but physically opposite of the constellation sagittarius. Also fought in the Trojan war Sagittarius in the background. An archer. Lokians are fictitious but are archers fighting in the Trojan war. Cast and Pollux Troy were diametrically opposed to Sean Archer in Face/Off. The Creature from the Black lagoon was co created by bud Westmore. His relative McKenzie Westmore is the host of Face Off the SYFY TV show. "It's all fun and games till someone dies" Syfy also confirms that the critically-acclaimed series will return in July 2014 for a high-stakes 7th season themed “Life and Death.” Each week the contestants will face creative challenges designed to inspire them to explore life, death, rebirth and mortality." References to Competition and a stage also. This clue seems to imply Face Off will somehow be involved in HHN Orlando this year. Once the QR codes were recreated they were more references to FaceOFF and HHN.

Halloween Horror Nights 24 Speculation

I'm betting Jack didn't escape! Fear got tired of him, and decided to give him back. I'm actually ok with Jack coming back. I want an Icon and some bit of backstory so Jack will suffice. That won't stop me from making comparisons to him and Pennywise though. -

I'm on team TWD = The Walking Dude! I can easily associate much of last season's imagery with The Stand. Therefore, I'm going to pretend it's a Stand house, if TWD does indeed return. -

Someone tell me I'm wrong: The chemical above appears to be Methylamine. This occurs in biological chemistry during putrefaction. Putrefaction is a part of decomposition. Rotting corpses = TWD -

To expound upon my earlier comment (now that I have a free moment): Dr. Jimmy, Jeramy, Owen, Gina, and a few others have linked this clue to Alien. Dr. Jimmy found an image of a xenomorph that looked similar to the image. Jeramy discovered that the image is from "Three Studies for Figures at the Base of the Crucifixion" by Francis Bacon. Jimmy posted information about how Ridley Scott asked Giger to use the above as a reference for the chestburster. Gina found a detail of the above painting that appears to match the image before it was altered. The Nostromo was named after a character in the book "A Tale of a Seaboard" by Joseph Conrad. The character was known for bravery. Nostromo means shipmate or boatswain in Italian. I'm working on the luck part. EDIT: I'm persistent. From IMDB: During the scene inside the APV preparing for battle, "El riesgo siempre vive!" can be seen scrawled in white across Vasquez's armor. Literally translated from Spanish this is: "Risk always lives!"; a variant of Cicero's famous quote "Luck favors the bold." -

Dr. Jimmy cryptic time!!!! Yay! First, the Good Doctor chose lyrics from the movie version as stated above. The line: "To a prosperous year. To all our friends that are here" is from the movie because of the change made to the chandleir scene. The original version is: "To a prosperous year. To a new chandelier." The chandelier crashes down at the end of Act 1 in the theater performance. It's an interesting choice. Many things can link it to Halloween. But I find these quotes from the 2007 movie to be the best link. Michael Myers - Child: Look at my mask. Dr. Samuel Loomis: Oh, wow. Beautiful. Yeah. Why is it all black? Michael Myers - Child: 'Cause it's one of my favorite colors. Dr. Samuel Loomis: Well, actually, black isn't a color, is it? It's the absence of color. In the spectrum of colors, you go from black, which is no color, all the way through to white, which is every color. So, technically... not that it really matters - but black isn't a color. Michael Myers - Child: I like the mask because it hides my face. Deborah Myers: I don't like you to hide your face. Take it off. Michael Myers - Child: It hides my ugliness. Deborah Myers: Sweetie, don't say that. Take it off. You're not ugly. Don't talk like that.OK?... I miss you so much. Edit: autocorrect hates me. I need to stop typing so fast and hoping it will help me. -
Halloween Horror Nights 24 Speculation

Seek ye a sister - sister can refer to many things. In this instance a "sister" city. Bowling Green, KY is rumored to be named after Bowling Green in NYC. Birth to a master - John Carpenter is a master of horror and grew up in Bowling Green, KY. Birth doesn't necessarily have to be the actual process of being born. People birth ideas. Since Mr. Carpenter spent his youth in Bowling Green, his desire to become a filmmaker was most likely birthed there. -
Halloween Horror Nights 24 Speculation

Mysti's crazy linking spec: Part 1: of the clue points us to King George III and the SHOT heard around the world. This points to the Revolutionary War and the MAD King. Part 2: Tells us to slow down. Don't be a pie thrower. Pie thrower or chucker is a reference to a poor bowler in cricket. We find a statue of King George that was in Bowling Green (a public park in NYC). This statue was decapitated and used to make ammunition (SHOT) in the Revolutionary War. This leads to the headless horseman. Part 3: Mentions pins (another bowling reference)Tells us we are looking for a master born from a sister. There is a Celtic double spiral. Leads to Celtic mythology. More headless horseman spec. It could represent twin/sister city. (We were stumped.) Part 4: Need an orchestra and Named streets. Music is in 5/4 time which is rare. Looking for shadows of the past that produce pain and horror. Everyone follow the bouncing spec: What does the headless horseman and Celtic mythology have in common? Traditional Halloween themes. Guess what's written in 5/4 time? The theme to Halloween. Guess who grew up in Bowling Green, KY (the name of which is rumored to be taken from the NYC public park)? John Carpenter John Carpenter used street names and locations from Bowling Green as names in his movie. Michael Myers watches from the shadows and also causes pain. One more: MAD as in insane. Insane asylum where Michael breaks out of. EDIT: One more one more - The Halloween theme is credited to the Bowling Green Philharmonic. This philharmonic doesn't exist. It's a pseudonym for Carpenter and some musical friends. -

Halloween Horror Nights 24 Speculation

Yes, that's what I meant! It is harder to determine an answer when we don't have a preconceived idea or imagery. Our own notions and desires cloud our interpretations. Look at the spec from clue to clue. We started at Nightingales (preconceived idea and imagery) and have moved on to the headless horseman. Our clue giver may be doing his/her best to push us toward imagery, we just don't see it yet. -

This path makes sense, but I don't know where it's suppose to lead! Maybe will we got a new clue. I slept very poorly last night, and my brain just keeps going in circles. I'm sticking to my Celtic Mythology house for now. I can at least link that to last year's crows! This does have me wondering: Pointing to IP's is relatively easier than trying to point to an original idea, since we won't know what's in an original until we see it. The imagery and linking becomes harder. -

I've been very busy today, so I've been unable to compose any speculation. I'm leaning toward Celtic mythology with the most recent clue. The dullahan is the bases of the headless horseman. I'm going to try to research the Morrigan to see if any of these sisters birthed a master. EDIT: No master birthed as of yet, but a tidbit I remembered. The Morrigan takes the shape of a crow. Macha and Babd have the raven and crow associated with them, respectively. Macha is also associated with the horse. -

I'm kicking myself massively right now. Lexington/Concord aka the Skirmish at North Bridge. Bridge! Ok, so Urban legends house? Just the horseman as others have concluded? Or will we get all the legends? Where does madness play in?
