I didn't see scare patrol at all during opening night
they were at insidious giving them out idk why
If you're looking for Scare Patrol and have time to spare or aren't running into them, go to the longest line and take a good look around. They are always at the longest, most uncomfortable lines as their entire purpose is to make it LESS uncomfortable and boring. They're in bright orange shirts, you can't miss them.

Ohhhhhhh, so it was because of a safety hazard? I had no idea why it was cut so short, especially since the props up on the hill were so noticeable. So they've confirmed that uphill segment will be cut for the entirety of this year's event for sure?
No, it was just for EPN. Even though the rain wasn't actually a big deal that night, apparently they couldn't take the chance so the dirt paths were blocked off just for that night. I wasn't down there tonight, because we're not allowed in the park, so I'm not sure, but as far as I know, they're not cutting it out for the year.

I know! I wasn't sure where to post it and the last few days have been super crazy at work for me, so I haven't had a chance to ask! (I work in wardrobe, so basically, if we fuck up, everyone's fucked up obviously.) I will try to have it up tonight or tomorrow.
Oh, also, quick tip? I don't want to hype it up too much, but do not undersstimate TWD maze this year. Seriously!

A quick update for tonight's live stream. I'm not to sure how well the connection is going to be on the lower lot but I will try my hardest to stream it, if not I will just post videos on instagram. Also if you want notifications every time I'm streaming there's an option next to the follow button on periscope once you follow me. Let's have some fun
Connection on the lower lot is probably going to suck majorly, yeah. :') That's why I didn't really post anything on my Instagram until I was on my way home already. Couldn't get any bars.
Anyway, tips for anyone going tonight: wait times on the site are not necessarily accurate. I don't know about AVP, but Terror Tram was open almost immediately and This Is The End never seemed to fall below 40 minutes all night. They had to reroute the path a lot for TT during EPN because the rain was a safety hazard, so it was a lot shorter than it should be tonight and for the rest of the event.
I also greatly advise that if you're DETERMINED to see This Is The End, make it your first stop because the line will get insanely long and in my opinion, it's not worth it at all.

Okay, a rephrasing. lol Please give me a heads-up if you're going to add me. I will post everything I post on there besides video over here when I get home on.... Thursday probably. I have work Wednesday morning at 6:30, so I'm just staying over at the park after EPN for the few hours between closing and my shift start. Then I'll just pass out when I get home that afternoon.

Does anyone have an extra ticket for the employee preview?
A couple things about EP night this year:
Every guest must be accompanied by an employee, of course. And every employee is only allowed to take one guest.

From what I saw for the Terror Tram tonight, I think it could be really cool this year.
I heard there's supposed to be less walking this year? I've no idea what that could mean really, but I am curious.

I agree, sometimes the stand alone shirts are cool like La Llarona, Evil Dead or the Silent Hill but other than that they are pretty boring.
As much as I love my AWiL shirt, I do wish I'd bought a different one too, because it really is kind of plain. :')

Can confirm the show is really seeming like a hit with the younger people and there hasn't even been any rumors flying around yet with what they're doing for it. Personally, I prefer something like a magic show or a special effects show over a pop culture spoof show, because I feel like the latter has already been done a million times on the internet and on late-night variety/talk shows by the time Halloween rolls around, buuut I'm not really sure how I feel about this one. Jabbawockeez does seem highly stylized though. I'm definitely going to see it, but it's not a priority by any means. I can't honestly say I've been impressed with the choreography of what I've seen of them. Their look is more interesting to me than their dancing. All that said, I don't think pop culture spoofs are completely off the table. They do some comedy bits in their shows too, from what I understand.

I am definitely going EP night and might pop in a few times for fun on the other nights since I'm working at USH now. I definitely want to go to opening and closing night, but it depends on my work schedule. c:

I have to agree. FDTD was our first maze because there was literally no line. We just walked right through. I don't think I ever saw the wait times for any of the mazes get past an hour that night. I hit Face/Off last, just before we left. We got to ride in an elevator with a Santa Muerte. c:

Also, I'm putting my props to you guys here for having to scare in this rain. We got soaked as guests. I can't imagine how you all put up with moving around in it all night. I wish I could have stayed for chase out, but SOME OF OUR PARTY didn't believe in coats before they left for the event. :|
